    Came for the prop, stayed for the dog's antics in the background lol. That would be a great make and take build project.

    Love this! Quick, simple, effective. It would also look cool coming out of a cauldron (maybe put a witch mask on it for that), barrel, or treasure chest (with a pirate hat on the skull natch!), depending on your yard's theme.

    I love all your ideas! This is my first year getting to decorate my yard for Halloween (I've always lived in an apartment and last year I was too pregnant to get out and decorate). I've already started to put stuff up for my own cemetery! I'm hoping eventually to make it pretty cool.

    Think about adding 2 or 3 links of chain between the coat hanger pushrod and one of the screws.
    That should give the skull a slight delay and make the movement more natural.

    Super cool! The theme for my haunt this year is pirates, I might try to make a pirate version, coming out of a rum barrel.

    I would need to get motors that run on batteries I think. Will that be tricky? New to moving props.

    • @EerieAcresCemetery
      @EerieAcresCemetery  7 років тому +1

      you could try something like this www.ebay.com/itm/uxcell-3V-6RPM-2-Wire-Connecting-Cylinder-Shape-Reduction-DC-Gearbox-Motor-/152526226128?hash=item23834582d0:g:fKsAAOSw53NZASFu

      that sucks lol ... How far have you gotten? Are you stumped? If i had more time this year I would give this a go.. what concepts do you have?

    • @EerieAcresCemetery
      @EerieAcresCemetery  7 років тому

      the issue is falling apart idea of it is very unpredictable so getting it to want to pull itself together again is being tricky I might have to dial it back even more to make it work

    I've never owned a deer motor before. Just received one from Fright Props. They say to just plug it in and it will start. Well I plugged mine in and nothing. Is there a trick to get it to go? No directions enclosed.

    • @EerieAcresCemetery
      @EerieAcresCemetery  7 років тому

      the deer motors? no they should just work the second you plug them in! I would contact them for sure!

      I just found these as well. the shaft has a threaded hole so you can attached an "arm" to it !! They have others on this site as well with different RPM's. All out of china of course so take into account shipping time (3 weeks or so usually) www.lusolarelectronics.com/tyc50-synchronous-motor-ac-110v-5060hz-2024rpm-cwccw-torque-p-109.html?zenid=276b89de3d40f20543b02a2a376b30a7
