Sometimes with the vanilla models it can be hard to tell if the stalker exosuit is a dutier because of the red. Likewise, Freedom and Monolith have somewhat similar looking exosuits.
honestly ive used this mod for years now and im over it some of them are really good and i like them (like the ghillie suit is really good) but most of them feel like they dont fit into the game world that is stalker
Idk about you guys but, I kinda prefer the old models better. They add a distinct flavour to the game that screams alt history. If we use the HD models for Duty, Military, and Freedom their identities are ruined. It feels kinda generic instead of armor for the zone built in the zone. In other words, using the HD models just makes you feel like you're at home instead of another world.
I love these models, makes them look way more realistic and a lot easier to identify who is in what faction at a distance. Really wish these worked in GAMMA
They do, they have a description, on how to install it. You have to disable certain mods but its working. Looks waaaay better in my opinion.. never gonna be playing without them again.
@@Claymakz really? I’ll have to check that out, I thought there must be some way to make it work, I’ll have a look for the description, thanks for the info 👍
if there's one complaint i could make about the Duty models is that there's one outfit that is both red and green so it's hard to tell if they're Duty or Freedom because of the color pallet of the suit. and then there's also the ecologist armor that is dark blue so you can barely tell if they're a scientist or mercenary.
Honestly the military and ecologists models are the only good part of the mod. The military because they dont look too different from the original look and the ecologists because those suits are frankly cool af
The mod is amazing but the only thing I wish was done diffrently is the exoskeleton, the old one looked really fuckin cool with heavy looks and quite menacing mask but the new one just look like a heavy suit, simply nothing special in it
first off, the visibility is terrible and it's real hard to identify factions with this mod. second, they look way too clean and don't fit the low poly maps, textures, and the game in general. if you think stalker 2's models are going to look like this, you're delusional.
@@Sh0ckV First off the visibility is awesome and it's real easy to identify factions with this mod. Secondly they look clean af and fit perfectly with other graphical mods. If you think Stalker 2 will look like this, you are absolutely correct.
HD models look good but they break zone atmosphere. I mean the suits especially designed to indicate the harsh condition of the zone so you feel the environment you live in with the unique design of suits. However, with HD models they turn game into a classic military shooter like EFT. I prefer a redux version of the original models instead of these. Maybe just a HD reskin would do.
I would love if the originals didn’t have cartoon feet. I like the HD better because they look more real to me, but I would love it if there was a version of the originals that looked more accurate to someone’s form like the HD models.
I don't like how old the vanilla ones are but I prefer them over the HD models because they just make anything into modern military uniforms don't fell like an HD Version of old models, its just realistic models.
Does anyone have any input on making this work with the Gamma modpack? It comes with dux's one out the box but i prefer the hd models and i swear it used to work with it a version or 2 back.

I think they fit well, hence all of the clothing and equipment have real counterparts

True
Vanilla stalker also had literal mercenaries as ecologist guards, wtf.

I'm not a fan of the HD models either, honestly. The original ones had a lot more character to them and are just a lot more recognizable.
There is a mod that updates the vanilla models and textures. Search "anomaly vanilla model fixes"
I like the HD Ecologists and Duty, but the OG models are unique as they have their own character and identity. Not a typical Military game
I like this mod better cause in Vanilla I swear the leg model looks very weird this one is more reasonable
Beautiful models that no one uses, it’s sad, there’s no chance to play a good modpack with these models

I dont like the hd models, mainly cause it just removes any character the factions had and makes them look "tacticool"
