I feel like this game has a deep meaning. No, it’s not just meant to scare you, it feels like there’s much more to it. Like, a metaphor of life. What you go though, that’s what it seems like. Depression, anxiety, stuff like that is represented by the creepiness and ugliness of the doll. The beautiful, peaceful, and cute doll shows the doll getting over it.
@@whoopsdidntmeanto I thought you meant the doll that aged as in the story of that family who had a doll and like 20+ years later they saw the same doll but it’s skin was extremely wrinkled and it looked old

No it's based off a real doll with a deceased child's spirit living in it and has to be taken care of by someone for 9 months before it can move on and reincarnate. This is Japanese tradition
i feel like the meaning to this game is somthing like a mother watching her child grow up but not being there for her kid like somthing like that because in the background there is a window with a creepy woman like figure watching us and the doll and i also think the doll is depressed or somthing like that because her mom was never there for her and when she got older she wasent depresd any more because she had a friend but as they grow they became far away from each other then the doll was depressed again and as she grew up she never got out of the pain but when she died she was at peace and that is wahy she was pretty once again.sorry for the typos
This is game based off a real doll from Japan called the Kodomo doll, or kodomo ningyō, meaning "children doll" or "kid doll" that you can purchase at your local shop in Japan, in any city. You can only find this doll In Japan. If you see it on Amazon in any other area it is a scam, it is not real child, it is a porcelain doll. But the real version of the kodomo ningyō is really a deceased child's spirit living inside the doll, and it will have to stay there for 9 months until it can move on into heaven or reincarnation. It is become a normal tradition that people must follow in Japan every year. For the tradition they have to purchase the doll at the store it is sold in and care for it as it learns and grows for 9 months straight until the child can then move on. The person must start the tradition at age 10 and their parents should explain to them what to do and how to care for the doll, because it's not like a regular baby doll that child's like to play with, the child spirit lives in the doll and it grows every 2 weeks. It starts off as a simple wooden doll without arms, legs, or a face, just wooden head and torso. And 2 weeks later it will grow arms and then have the ability to grab and latch onto objects only that it is close to, for it cannot walk or crawl yet. (the kid posseses the kodomo ningyō and can move it to his or her liking for those wondering) and another 2 weeks go by and the kodomo ningyō will have it's arms grow longer and can reach things even if it cannot see. The kodomo ningyō will start off without a face at the start of evolution so it will be unable to see, hear, taste, smell, or speak. It will only have the sense of touch and has not yet gained consciousness or self awareness that it is dead inside the doll or that it is inside a doll. At another 2 weeks the wood of the doll will start to turn to silicone texture and it will no longer feel like a doll. That is when it will also grow it's legs which will start off very small. They will grow at the next two weeks though and once they do the doll will be able to walk which you shouldn't let it do if it can't see, if it is silicone it can get hurt. I will continue my explanation in the reply section of my comment if you guys are still curious about this kodomo ningyō.
Info about caring for the keadōru, if it's your first time The "caregiver" must buy the doll to adopt it, that is when the keadōru will start it's weekly growth. Once you adopt it, you need to make sure it has its own cradle or small crib or cot to rest in, for it needs a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Your keadōru's package will come with a bottle of nutritious liquid for it to "eat", a syringe to insert the liquid into the doll, and 2 kimonos for the keadōru to wear once it's able to. You will need a blanket to wrap the doll in while it's still small so that you can keep it warm. About feeding, you need to put the liquid in the syringe and insert the needle into the doll. It does not have a pain system until the 8th week of care, so it can not feel the needle but the liquid will reduce the hunger. Once it grows it's mouth you will be able to feed it with a spoon. You must hold the keadōru like you would any normal infant. To make it feel safe and happy, you should spend about 10-15 minutes cradling the keadōru in your arms, you can rock it too. It helps it feel very calm and soothed. Once the keadōru grows older at the 8th-12th week, it will start feeling other emotions like anger and stress. And once it reaches that week, it will start the consciousness stage and start realizing who it is and that it's dead and it will start remembering how she or he died. And it will start becoming vengeful, and once it does, remain calm and get down on your knees and close your eyes and start praying to the doll as if it's a god, as if it is superior. Then you need to go to your keadōru and embrace it, this will settle it down and help it realize that you are harmless to it and you, as their caregiver will not betray them and that you'll help the keadōru depart from earth in peace and serenity, or help it move on into a new life as a new person being cared for properly by a new caregiver (their parent) and they will then know that you are there for them and they will start to trust and honor you.
The purpose of this keadōru tradition is to help children start becoming more responsible and know how to take care of a child of their own Incase they get pregnant at a very young age. Considering kids usually start puberty at 9-11 years old (it really depends) and start their menstrual cycle at 11-13. If you don't know how or why they are kids possessing dolls after their death I will explain. Children in Japan that pass away before reaching the age of 12 usually have to have a ritual performed on them by their family to trap them inside of a wooden doll and make them possess it, and the family will either sell the doll for someone else to do the tradition, or they will keep their keadōru with them for 9 more months until their soul has to depart and move on. The keadōru will remember their family when or if this happens, (once they reach their 8th week) and will not feel vengefulness toward them unless the family was neglective or bad to them.
If you are wondering if this is a satire comment and if This is just a creepypasta or urban legend, it is not. This is real and I have actually done this tradition when I visited Japan a few years ago. You are allowed to travel with your keadōru. I took my keadōru to America with me and cared for her for 9 months so I learned a lot about this that's how I know all this also because I did some research on it too.

But years later I kind of see the story that's taking place. I see pretty much no one talk about this game anymore, but I'm glad I still remember it.

I feel like this describes sadness and depression (like the other comment I saw) it starts out scary and distorted but then becomes beautiful, but then starts to become horrifying and messed up. This probably describes at first you are sad, but then you become happy, but then you just get sadder. And in the end she becomes a beautiful doll. Probably representing the aftermath of the depression.
I used to be scared of this game some months ago, but I know the meaning of this game. It’s about depression. People just think it’s scary just because of the stuff it’s in. First look at what’s the game is about. Don’t judge it.
Imagine waking up at midnight seeing nothing, waking up at three am, seeing all the evolutions outside your window, waking up at five am, your finger is gone, then you wake up again thirty minutes later and seeing them on your bed staring at you while you on the floor, then why kill you. THE END :)
I was shock when i saw the doll it looked like a japan princess and then it started to get much depressing and much scarier and then at the ending i relized the doll became even prettier than before
2:49 looks like my Grandma without her glasses. :( I miss my Grandma, I had to move away from that Spooky-Halloween-Cruel-Place, with my mother. Me and my Mom are both Hawaiian, I'm only learning the meanings of life, choices, words, everything about Hawaii, and everything you guys even do in your own life. I'm still a growing child.
For the people wondering this games meaning is a girl who was born and was thrown in a basement and told to die in there her monther checked on her every day until she died when she died the basement was boarded up and then she haunted her mother for the rest of her mother’s life her mother died 6 days after her death her spirt took the necklace that was on her neck and ripped it apparat they call it the “bad luck necklace” but if you search it it won’t show up …creepy right!
so its like.. the story is, the mom (us) took care of her as a baby- then left her at a young age.. and she kept on growing more and more broken.. until in the end, we were united again?
I seen UA-camrs play this game but I never played it because I don't want to get jumpscared so yeah but in the ending of this video the doll looks kind of pretty
*Cry's* Japanese dolls grow up so fast.... I loved this game even I didn't play it ... But I deleted everything in my tablet.. And it still didn't worked.. But I it is not your fault my doll... Its I... Who made a fault.. I couldn't take care of you.. I'm sorry for not downloading this app. I really wanted too!!!!
Ah. This was thrilling. So many scary things happened as I watch this. But I got disappointed at the end that it was beautiful. Although I like the meaning of the story.
I think this game wants to tell us something, maybe it’s tryin’ to tell us this: There are people who think that your a mistake, ugly and that sh*t. But there will always be someone who is going tru the same, and because you don’t do such thing, your beautiful on the inside!” What do ya’ll think?
This game is about reading the letters that come from dolls. It is also a game where you can communicate with the doll. If you don't understand the language, you won't be able to understand the story of this game.
i believe that this describes "depression" in my opinion the ugly and creepy looks are the negativity and the beautiful one at the end is the result of fighting with depression or something dark in your life.

strσnggírl they're cowards and they think it's real so they keep praising it
strσnggírl me to theyre evil
I played this once where my heart was thumping so hard when suddenly my car alarm rang for no reason. I deleted it and never wanted to install it ever again😂
AYYY A MIRACULOUS FAN

I think there's a backstory of this doll...
The music is not creepy the music is sad thats why i cried 😂😂 LOL that made me less creeped out
The video : spooky doll
The ad : "do you want to become rich?"
There's a point in the game where it gives you 3 choices. What do the choices say? I want to continue playing but I don't know which to pick
Idk if you found the guide but acceptance, denial, and death. The fourth one that you unlock after playing the others is hug
I love how it just evolves and devolves
From all those scariness, it became a cutie
This game seems like a storyline
I loved this game!
fianally bootiful ending coming over depression and finding true self
I used to be scared of this game some months ago, but I know the meaning of this game. It’s about depression. People just think it’s scary just because of the stuff it’s in. First look at what’s the game is about. Don’t judge it.
Are you sure ... because its actually about the keadoru tradition in Japanese culture....
love this game! finished it twice now
This is going to give me nightmares for weeks
lol she looks like me on occasional days
Same
Gacha gay
Niko Bellic Toxic piece of shit
Honestly the doll gets really cute at one point
this is kinda cute..........in a weird way
2:59 Dad:Kids, Dinner is ready! Kids:(sees the soup sitting flat on the floor)
Fun fact, in one of the doll's notes, it says something about it's kimono being blue when it's safe and red when it's dangerous
the doll when it looks old its creepy
Who else only came because of LaurenZside's video?
me! i was curious
Whoever actually made it this far into the game without quitting of fear is not human

That's not how you spell beautiful
That’s Quarrister
who else went to the comments to escape the creepyness of the doll??
I love this game I would have kept it if it wasn’t for the fact that is in only japanese
Uhm... 2:04 made me stay up till 10 in the morning
Y 2:04 isn't scary...
Well, that's a beautiful looking Japanese Doll.
Imagine waking up at midnight seeing nothing, waking up at three am, seeing all the evolutions outside your window, waking up at five am, your finger is gone, then you wake up again thirty minutes later and seeing them on your bed staring at you while you on the floor, then why kill you. THE END :)
I was shock when i saw the doll it looked like a japan princess and then it started to get much depressing and much scarier and then at the ending i relized the doll became even prettier than before
She’s so BEAUTIFUL!!!!
How do you get the part after the standing skull? I haven't figured that out
maybe its a special part where if you get all the ending s you get it
Yuno Momo FEED IT MORE I didn’t mean to yell sorry
I love this game
Lam Nguyen YAY I found someone who actually likes playing it just like me
Lam Nguyen no i dont its scary
Da spoopy Kiwi I’m playing it now and I don’t know what to think of it.
same
her last form was cute TwT
For the people wondering this games meaning is a girl who was born and was thrown in a basement and told to die in there her monther checked on her every day until she died when she died the basement was boarded up and then she haunted her mother for the rest of her mother’s life her mother died 6 days after her death her spirt took the necklace that was on her neck and ripped it apparat they call it the “bad luck necklace” but if you search it it won’t show up …creepy right!
Liar... this game is based off the keadoru tradition in Japanese culture.. quit making stuff up
@@whoopsdidntmeanto lmao yeh
the last one so cute!!!
“Sleep on, dear little child -day is young-“
the doll with another doll with no face makes me think that they had a new sibling
4:03 are you from indonesia?
Not Indonesia it's Japanese
The last one is so cute!
Did anyone notice Okiku was there on the background?
👇
I love the end! Its like she's free of the mask others made her wear and she became a beautifull doll!
so its like..
the story is,
the mom (us) took care of her as a baby-
then left her at a young age..
and she kept on growing more and more broken..
until in the end,
we were united again?
Music makes me so calm even tho I'm looking at something horrific
I seen UA-camrs play this game but I never played it because I don't want to get jumpscared so yeah but in the ending of this video the doll looks kind of pretty
After deleting this game i started hearing a girl singing in my ipad pls help
The doll is getting beautiful
The song is so sad but i like it ^w
Is the doll okiku ?
*Cry's* Japanese dolls grow up so fast.... I loved this game even I didn't play it ... But I deleted everything in my tablet.. And it still didn't worked.. But I it is not your fault my doll... Its I... Who made a fault.. I couldn't take care of you.. I'm sorry for not downloading this app. I really wanted too!!!!
**~.you got me some alot of chills.~**
**~.edit: and so do you too I am not the only one.~**
Ah. This was thrilling. So many scary things happened as I watch this. But I got disappointed at the end that it was beautiful. Although I like the meaning of the story.
My thoughts about Japanese doll:it went from doll to a radiated child
It's kinda cute but haunted
Me download it: this game looks nice
After 1 hour: I need to go to bed I too addicted
I think this game wants to tell us something, maybe it’s tryin’ to tell us this:
There are people who think that your a mistake, ugly and that sh*t. But there will always be someone who is going tru the same, and because you don’t do such thing, your beautiful on the inside!”
What do ya’ll think?
How do you find the game
This game is about reading the letters that come from dolls.
It is also a game where you can communicate with the doll.
If you don't understand the language, you won't be able to understand the story of this game.
I played this game before! it was fun. This is the gopd ending because she thanks you for taking care of her. There are 3 other endings
OH OK NIGHTMARES,
I’M GOING TO GET NIGHTMARES
I think this describes beauty and depression
