There’s so many small versions of big monsters in rise, surely we must be getting all of the big versions at some point, i especially want to see tetsucabra and zamtrios
Take this with a grain of salt but through datamining people have found data on Valstrax in Rise. Potentially upcoming in 3.0 as another Elder Dragon accompanying the new Final Boss
They also have “referenced” valstrax in the desert relic records. But don’t get you hope up till we see it. (Should be under sandy plains message 9 where the it talks about a crimson glow falling on the sandy plains village)

As things are now, the terrors as we veterans remember them have been neutered in High Rank. Some are just too slow. Would love sub-species to return too. Not counting them, the monsters I think have the best chance to come in due to the baby forms being in game already are: Great Jaggi, Great Jagras, Agnaktor, Gravios, and Zamtrios. Monsters I would love to see return: Gammoth, Astolos, Lagiacrus, Gogmazios, Seltas (and Queen), and Nerscylla
@@lyeoj That would make sense. What would be a good idea from Capcom would be to change Bulldrome to be a slighty stronger version of Bullfango while still being a small monster, a little like Jaggia compared to Jaggi.

Its not the fact that the datamine came out that long ago its the fact that it was a data mine. me and countless other people purposly avoided the data mine because finding stuff out from there is way less exiting and surprising than finding stuff out from trailers. if we all listened to the datamines then there would be no point of trailers. but thanks for putting a spoiler there anyways.
I have only played World (pre iceborn) and rise I would love to see deviljo nergigante and I don't know the name of the monster but it looks awesome i believe it's called the king of the sea
I was also actually thinking that the child of Narwa and Ibusi will be a new and Final boss. I'm hoping for Gore magala since it has history of corrupting monsters and can be used for like Rampage purposes.
Lagiacrus is my favorite monster, but sadly, he’s probably never gonna return unless they revamp underwater in a future MH game, I think valstrax has a good chance to be in Rise though
I like the list but I personally think the metal raths have a good chance go appear as well bc of their inclusion in mhwi, as well as apex tigrex bc why not😂
it is very odd that there r no subspecies in rise and the only pairing is Rathalos and Rathian leaving Gravios out. Gravios would b really fun since he looses his poison but gains a lot more attacks using his beams including firing them in short burst projectiles like laser blasts along with a classic combo of doing the long beam and following up with the torso explosion 2 counter hunter that move in on him 4 damage during the long beam animation i was so sad 2 not see Agnaktor because they do have leviathans and the young Uroktor in game just like rise having Zamites without the adult form Zamtrios while also having the amphibian skeleton in game hell with Zamtrios the region is perfect with it being a cold map and being islands 4 him 2 swim under ice and all but the water isn't frozen over saddly it's sad that Lagiacrus was planned 4 world but the skeleton didn't work 4 ledges and slopes but with Almudron they've proven that this is not an issue in rise do 2 it being a different engine that they r much more familiar with since it's been sued 4 resident evil and DMC 4 a long time now 7:19 that's a cool animation of the liightning ball being diflexted and moving off 2 the side, in 5th gen it would just disappear when hitting the shield lol Tetsukabra is in the game but it's a hypno toad that's controlling Kamura so the hunters can't precieve the existance of its kin making them not get hunted, memes asside he'd b nice 2 add 2 the amphibian list but i'd much prefer Zamrios Astalos would b really fun and ya Gammoth is 1 that would require its own skeleton of sorts i mean it's really ust giant pop with the trunk lim added so tech wise a tail on its head but i would love 2 see all the fated 4 featured and even more so of each 1 got a subspecies like Acididc Glavenus from iceborn who i loved so much yes Seregios is aweomse and bleed is not a bad status 2 have Gore no way cause frenzy virus while Valstrex is more likely in my mind and would b really fun along with Amatsu
I bet one will be Kirin, he's too japanese to not be included. I also hope for Mephisto only because I really like him, and it could maybe unlock a costume for the owl!
Seregios not so much because it uses the gore magala skeleton without the front legs. Also gore magala has a different skeleton than other elders. Only monsters that use this are gore and it’s family, sergios, gog, and nergi

we could see Nergigante return in the future, it is a fan favorite and see alot of people hunting it and he is unique in terms of Elder Dragons

I hope Akantor and Ukanlos can be in Rise like happen for MH4.
While they were fairly annoying Bulldrome and Lavasioth also have a reasonable chance to be added because of the presence of Bullfango and Jyuratodus.
I would definitely give lavasioth a big chance but bulldrome is such a bland monster that I would probably put it even below great jaggi for chances!

Actually it's a possibility that all of the monsters will be back since we don't have restrictions as we had with world cuz of terrain
