Awesome! Glad you guys are liking the videos. Maybe we'll bump into you guys one day. Ya'll coming up to Oshkosh? We've had ours for 2-3 years now and absolutely love it. Wish we could transfer down there. :)
310 Pilot. My husband will be at Oshkosh unfortunately I couldn’t get the week off so my plan is to fly up on my RDOs. We are hoping the plane will be ready for Oshkosh. We had one of the engines overhauled and did some other work on the plane. We bought the plane from Joliet, IL last spring. Transfer here?.....really! Chattanooga is beautiful and not a bad place to fly plus no snow. Lol. Anyway, thank you for the cool videos! Hopefully bump into y’all soon!
Awesome...thank you very much Matt! Glad you're enjoying it. Just finishing up our arrival into there and I think it's going to be a good one. Spoiler alert....Jaime is still stressed out about flying into airshows. :)
@@310Pilot Was she involved as a controller in a close call or mid-air event that left her gun shy about traffic? I see her stress level go up a little in all the videos as you approach the landing and look for traffic.
Thanks for sharing and hope u 2 have tons of fun down at sun&fun. There just something special about flying in late afternoon. The world is passing from day time to dark. I always loved flying at night. Be safe!!
You always make your videos so interesting. Look forward to Fridays to see what your up to next. Jaime is such a sweetheart and I always enjoy listening to her talk. Have great trip and fly safe.
Excellent video. As usual you made the right decision. 1st landing there. Too high, go around and you nailed it !!! Perfect landing. My compliments. The auto pilot is awesome.
Finally finished the video. Very impressed with your situational awareness and quick thinking to cancel IFR to do the 360. Sure beats a trip around the radar pattern. My first thought was when planning the approach the course reversal “procedure turn” would have been a perfect opportunity to lose the altitude and accomplish the approach. That’s what they are there for. Hind sight is a great thing. Anyway you handled it great and my hats off to you for “hanging” it out for all to see.
Thanks Mark! Given the direction we were coming and the MVA in the area I didn't think it would be tough to get a normal descent for a reasonable crossing but when I realized that wasn't happening I should have asked or delay vectors for descent or a lap around the reversal. Live and learn. :) If was brighter out and I was familiar with the area/terrain I could have slam dunked it but considering all that I thought a quick cancel and turn around was the best option. I figure to keep things real you gotta put the bad in with the good. :)
Hey guys, lot of fun video, Kevin about your free time, same thing with me on the tractor when I installed Trimble, I started watching UA-cam and found you guys and now I’m a pilot and a farmer, see you next week!
Glad you enjoyed it Ken! My buddy just installed that I think on his tractor. If it ever dries out it will be fun to see that thing in action! Hope ya'll have a good crop this year. :)
I love you guys, you crack me up ! Best of all, it never fails, you will wind up debating something I’ve bern trying to convince my wife of. So the videos back me up and I really appreciate that. The conversations that back up her point... she never sees. 😁 Safe skies guys !
310 Pilot - You better believe I utilize “selective viewing”! If Jaime said she saw the sun come up in the south this morning, mine would say “Yeah, I saw it too !”. Showing her how much fun you guys have is getting me closer to getting a airplane for longer trips and since she does aircraft loans, that’s not too difficult. Like I told you, she says constantly that you two are “Sooo CUTE together !”, so I capitalize on that. Thx Kevin !
The 360 go around shows just why you will never be known as just a flight monitor guy. You are truly a pilot and someone I would trust to fly my family anywhere. Fly Safe!
Kevin, first, congratulations on 34 thousand subscribers, it was 6000 when I joined, your numbers don’t surprise me with what you offer here. I loved how you started your last video, hanger comes open, in comes Kevin in his truck and guess what ? Here comes a nice car and we all know who’s driving it ! Exciting moment, how is she going to look outside the plane and of course in the plane ! I wasn’t surprised at all, as usual a knockout, beautiful hair (12 +) Eyes (11+) Makeup and figure (13+) whew, get that aside. I don’t know what you did with the camera but it’s great, wider view, now I can see both props, I liked how you talked about the synchronization of them, you perfectly described them with your hands, I key on their sound so if they are not in sync I don’t care because they sound better to me. LOL . I love the small camera you use for the instrument panel view and talks, I know and understand a lot about your plane now, views out the side windows are always great( Wing tip tanks) great now with the new auto pilot, alittle more relaxing now just seeing you and Jamie kicking back and talking, instrument panel looks great at nite !! Look forward to your videos every week !! You, Jamie and your plane look and sound great, keep it up !! We are all with you !!
Thank you Dennis! Glad you're enjoying the channel all this time. It really has grown much larger than we thought it would. We enjoy sharing our flying adventures and are happy others are enjoying following along. :)
As Ed Pippin said, Jaime was very entertaining! Great flying, I remember getting used to my STEC; I was high on approaches till I found the sweet spot for MP. Good job on your night landing. Hope you bring that much beer to Oshkosh, we'll have the mixers!
Thanks for a great video, Kevin. Nice to see some night flying as well. I love Jaime's comment "it's not what you're doing, it's would you can do, that makes you a pilot" (or insert other activity in place of pilot. Spot on!

I did air traffic reports for radio and TV stations in Chattanooga for two and a half years. We mainly used a smaller airport a few miles away (Dsllas Bay) but I flew in and out of Chattanooga airport a lot. Enjoy your videos.
came across this older clip of yours. great fun and i echo the comments received by others. I'm always impressed by the technical details of IFR vs. VFR. IFR requires a go-around with a re-sequence, VFR a simple 360 will fix the problem. fly well.

I agree about Wilson Air...they were great! Fun airport to fly-in. Maybe we'll catch you around somewhere one of these days. Aviation is a small world. :)
Wow I could not see those runway lights till the last second. This is why I dont fly lol and having only one eye is not great either. I am so night blind but getting older (61) things do wear out and stop working. This is why I so appreciate you both for allowing me to be in the cockpit with you guys. You are such an inspiration.
Glad to take you along with us Thomas! A large part of that is the cameras don't do well with low light. It was actually still dusk when we landed but they made it look darker. Sometimes the runways are dimmer than the surrounding lights and that makes picking them out a bit difficult at times.
@@310Pilot I usually plan 4 cruises a year and this year is booked. December ends hurricane season so Jan-May are great times and I would suggest a souther Caribbean that would go to Grand Turk, Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba. That is my favorite but if you have favorite islands that nac be figured out. I only do Carnival as I know many if not all the cruise directors and many of the other crew members. I also know John Heald the brand ambassador to Carnival Cruise Line. I always cruise solo as I have had bad luck with women who have cleaned me out and taken advantage so I video the shows and take tons of pictures. I always have the best time. If you are into beaches or snorkling or scuba or any other excursions they are available. However there is nothing like what you guys do by flying into the islands and have the beach all to yourselves. That is awesome if you are with someone. As I travel along I have befriended the performers (singers and dancers in the shows. Great folks. Just let me know. It would be incredible.
Hi you two, thanks for the Friday fix, another excellent watch, I have been passing The word around and you are beginning to get quite a fan base here in England. Bestest. Stephen. 😀🏴
That would be most pleasant, have a feeling I could chat to you two for hours . Possibility I’m coming to Oshkosh 2020 we could meet up there 😀 Stephen.
Kevin, Great flight. You two are having too much fun! LOL Great smooth night landing. And, I concur with some of the other comments.....you do have one of the best and most popular aviation UA-cam channels! Keep them coming. Until next time, safe flying! Over and out
Thank you RL! That's a very nice compliment...especially considering some of the others out there. Maybe one day we will brave the Northeast and catch you on the mic. :)
I get up at 5:30 each weekday morning... so that would be no problem for me! But Jamie seems to think this is way too early! OK, so we'll see what replaces the old Garmins... I'm learning the Dynon Skyview EFIS. Kinda nice, but still have a way to go to master it completely. Take care! 😎
We rotate our schedules a lot each week with our jobs so some morning we wake up at 4:20 and other times we are working till 11pm. I've never flown with a SkyView but I've heard good things. It's a shame they couldn't get going quicker on their certified versions as the other big company is going to take away a lot of their business.
And just so nonchalantly,,,,oh yeah, I'm going to take ride with the Aeroshell team.....like, ho hum, just another day...LOL!! Great video. You guys are living the dream. Keep it up! And for crying out loud, take that girl on a cruise!!!
Ha ha...it was a blast! Not everyday you get to fly a tight formation inverted. :) Glad you enjoyed it Stan! Hope the Aeroshell video comes out well when I get to it.
What a fun episode. You two work well together. Considering your GPS is 20 years old, they seem to work well. The first GPS I worked with only displayed Lat-Lon. That was in 89 or 90, before it was fully operational. Your displays are quite advanced for only 10 years difference. Looking forward to seeing what you found at Sun n Fun.
Thank you Karl...glad you enjoyed it! Like peas and carrots. :) They were great for their time but the new tech really blows these out of the water in usability, safety, etc. We are really excited about our new upgraded ones. :) I remember my dad bringing home the first GPS the Army used to fly with....crazy how much has changed in that amount of time.
Hope our home airport and city treated you well. Runway 20 and 2 are by far the most used. Wilson Air is also the newest and nicest FBO on the field. If you decide to stop through again next year I would be happy to take you guys to lunch or dinner.
It's a very nice airport with great people Mark! In hindsight I should have just went to 20 I guess. I was thinking it would be easier on 15 being almost straight in but didn't count on being kept that high. Thanks for the offer...hope to make it back down there before too long. :)
Love your videos! Thank you for sharing! Please keep flying safe and thank you for letting us ride along on your adventures. Love how you work together throughout your flights. Cool moment when you tried to help “relay” for control. 👍🏻
You guys are too funny for words. Every flight is an adventure for me and hopefully yourselves. You are a very entertaining couple to say the least. I agree with Jaime, I think Sun N' Fun is a little more laid back than Oshkosh. I have seen some videos and it looks like a blast. Hope you both have an absolutely fantastic time!
Enjoyed your flight into Chattanooga...my home town. Too bad it got dark on your arrival or you could have enjoyed some spectacular views. Always look forward to your next video.
Sure nice to see Miss Jamie back in the seat. You certainly need to take her on a cruise, lots of fun and relaxation. Now you have autopilot, you have time to join the mile high club. Lol. Jus kidding. Love your vids and would love to meet you guys if your ever in the area. Thanks so much for taking us along and making us all feel like part of the extended family. Blessings .
Glad you enjoyed it! We will for sure get on a cruise here before to long...she deserves it! Maybe we will make it out that way one of these days...could use some relaxation on the water. :)
9:15 Kevin - get her the cupholders. Our companions define how we fly. And only because I love both of you, how about shoulder harnesses? It's a relatively cheap upgrade that hopefully you'll never need to use. Good to see Jaime chillax as a skilled passenger. Your channel is real so thanks!
The cupholders are on the to do list. The new seat belts are installed as of a couple weeks ago. Love them. They weren't cheap though. You would think it would be simple/easy to install them but being everything that goes into a certified plane has to jump through hoops, it was costly but glad to have them nonetheless. :) Glad you're enjoying it!
I get the same look when I tell my wife we need to get up around 5:30 to go to the airport for a morning departure. Love the video. I'm a regular at SNF but couldn't make it due to weather. I've got to get my IPC done, I'll be at OSH though.
Ha ha.... you feel my pain. Luckily she's always a good sport about it after the initial pouting. :) Hopefully we bump into to you there...if so, make sure to stop us and say hi.
I enjoy listening to you two talking to each other. You are so much in love ! I'm sure that your marriage will last like ours has. We celebrated our 51st anniversary last week. Take care my friends and enjoy yourselves. As always, your Canadian friend Gord. P.S. I turned 71 today.
About two years ago I was flying my wife and kids from Virginia to Texas in our PA-28 Cherokee 150. My son looked green after leg #1. For leg #2 we tried making it to CHA to avoid weather, had called that same FBO in this video to set up a car. Once we hit the mountains, the turbulence was too much. My son threw up a freshly eaten pack of M&M's all over my wife. Decided to divert to a small field in Toccoa GA. Friendly FBO there. Sadly, I learned a tough lesson that not everyone in my family has the stomach for General Aviation. Nice video. Subscribed.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for subscribing!! Air sick is the worst....knock on some wood but my young-ins haven't done that yet. Hope to keep it that way. Random FYI...I grew up in North Georgia and named one of my boys Toccoa.
@@310Pilot Very cool regarding your boys name. It turned out to be a great stop. I figured you were a Georgia fan from your hat. Don't hate me but I'm a Florida Gator alum....Keep posting your videos, very enjoyable! Safe flying.
I was fortunate to get a ride on an F16 dropping dumb bombs and then high speed low level mission out of Eglin before I got out of the AF. I have a huge appreciation for the flying skills you guys have. Makes us all sleep a little easier. Yeah, I'm a Georgia boy...started at UGA but graduated from ERAU in FL while in the AF. I work with a Gator Fan and I've been loving collecting on our yearly standard bet for the past many years. Go Dawgs! :)
Loving our new GPS/Audio Panel! Can't wait to get the rest of the suite installed/cut new panels so we can be done with the avionics upgrade chapter. :) Glad you liked it!
PURE GENIUS! You trouble-shot the headset while in the air! Poetry! BTW, you are making a splash on UA-cam... the Survey generator recently asked for my preference of how best to promote your channel. Big Things on the way... Thanks as always for sharing your passion! =]
Another great video! Your copilot is great! I sure envy you two. You guys are blessed with great jobs and a passion for aviation! Say hi to your copilot for me, you lucky rascal! lol
Kevin, Another great job. Sounds like you have some more real great upgrades coming up. Which I think you should probably put on hold until you get some other things taken care of (you know cup holders and mirrors stuff like that) lol. Poor Jamie such a rough life. lol. You guys seem like a great couple, way to be. Have a great weekend.
Thank you Mark...glad you enjoyed it! Ha ha...I'll call the GPS guys and tell them to hold the installations as I need to find a cup holder first...that would get a good laugh. :)
Lovely video. I have earlier complained that you used the lady as clickbait (she is very cute), and that was a bit cynical I thought. In this video, I felt like we got to know you a bit. A bit akward before the mic-fixing-thing, but after that / during that we got to see you a bit. That was great. We're all scared of the camera and what people think, but when we stop thinking about that, people like us more. I liked you guys, and keep relaxing and just be yourselves both of you :)
Glad you liked the video! We have lots of videos in the past where we talk and even a Q and A video about our past. I'm always going to put a thumb nail from he flight up. Just so happens if she's on board it's usually of her. A) hard to fly taking selfies :) B) you can only show out the window, the runway and my dash so many times. :) Hope you continue to enjoy the videos.
Too high, yep did that myself the other day , it happens, like the beer loaded up as well and her comments lol, great video looking forward to the next one !
Yeah, just wish I would have asked for delay vectors before crossing the IAF inbound that high. It worked out safely though. I just wasn't going to slam dunk it with the terrain around and it getting dusk. :)
Jamie you look cool with aviators on but you look cuuuuuute without. just say'n. hi from Aurora. wish I knew when you are taking off east sometime I could watch you go by
Kevin man you look soooooo much more relaxed while flying now with the new chauffeur (autopilot)! Kicked back with one arm behind your sweetie, almost expecting to see your left arm hanging out the window in the sun, like you're driving the old time Woodsided family station wagon to sun n fun!! I just started watching but had to comment on that before I even finished the video, obviously that autopilot was money well spent! Maybe you should give it a chauffeur's name! :-) Great video you guys! Sure looks nice having the anxiety factor or stress factor removed from long flights by Chauncy the Chauffeur lol the new auto pilot!
Loving how much more relaxing flying is with it Don! I wish I could put my arm out the window but at 210 mph it might rip off. :) Glad you enjoyed it...just finishing up the arrival into the show and I think you'll have fun with that one...spoiler...Jaime is still stressed out flying into airshows.

Hi you two, thanks for the Friday fix, another excellent watch, I have been passing
The word around and you are beginning to get quite a fan base here in England.
Bestest.
Stephen. 😀🏴
And Wales too!
Awesome...thank you for the support Stephen!!! Maybe one of these days whenever we make it over there we can have a cold drink together. :)
That would be most pleasant, have a feeling I could chat to you two for hours .
Possibility I’m coming to Oshkosh 2020 we could meet up there 😀
Stephen.
Love the interaction between you 2. I feel like I’m right there in the plane with you
Good stuff Kevin/Jaime! Looking forward to your sun and fun.
Glad you liked it Wally! It was a fun arrival and departure getting in and out.
Poor, Poor Jaime and her First World Problems. :-) Great job on the video. Love the night landing.
Ha ha...we got a good laugh about people feeling sorry for her. :) Glad you enjoyed it James!
Thank you...glad you're enjoying them! Always nice to be able to try to help out ATC when we can. :)
Thank you James...glad you're enjoying riding along with us! The next video is the arrival into the show and is action packed for sure!
Enjoyed your flight into Chattanooga...my home town. Too bad it got dark on your arrival or you could have enjoyed some spectacular views. Always look forward to your next video.
It's beautiful in your home area! We did enjoy a pretty sunrise departure on the next video. :)
Excellent 2nd part. I promise not to mention our last cruise my wife and I have just returned from!! 😎
Ha ha...glad you enjoyed it Colin! We'll get on one soon. :)
Great video Kevin! Glad to see you were stocked with Lite (my brand too) lol. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your travels!
Glad you enjoyed it Todd! I like them all but gotta keep the lady happy,. :)
This is one of my favorites,,Binge watching your channel today....lol.
:) Glad you're enjoying it!
nice smooth night flight great view of lights at night up in the air showen on my large screen great stuff people
Glad you enjoyed it Anthony! I've since upgraded the panel lighting and looking forward to showing that off one of these nights. :)
Excellent job Kevin. Really like ya’lls videos!
Thank you Joseph...glad you're enjoying them!
Cruises are awesome! You guys will have a ball.
She's looking forward to it and I'm looking forward to her being having fun on it....who knows...maybe I'll end up enjoying it. :)
Awesome husband and wife banter - love it. Very interested to see what GPS system you decide on - love the 310.
@310 Pilot >>> The temporary ATC tower in Plant City blew away? Ah, those WONDERFUL FLORIDA THUNDERSTORMS that I remember from my youth...😝
When I was training, CHA was my first Class C landing-also at night. I enjoyed this segment of your trip to S&F.
Glad you enjoyed it James and glad to take you back! :)
I enjoy listening to you two talking to each other. You are so much in love ! I'm sure that your marriage will last like ours has. We celebrated our 51st anniversary last week. Take care my friends and enjoy yourselves. As always, your Canadian friend Gord. P.S. I turned 71 today.
Congrats on your 51st!!! I"m excited to be able to say the same one of these days. Happy birthday as well Gord!!!
Great as always. A sincere thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it Bill!
Whew! Jamie’s mic is fixed. We can hear you again. What a relief !
Ha ha...we are excited to have that struggle behind us. :)
Awesome video and great chemistry between you two!
Thank you! :)
Love your channel and that cessna dual...
As usual, another great video. I really look forward to your new console
Thank you John...it's about half way done. Looking forward to finishing this project so we can move on to maybe a new paint job. :)
PS. Love your work ride!
@@310Pilot Thanks man! It pays the bills.....
Go Dawgs! :)
Yep. You do need that new GPS to go with the superb auto pilot. Great video...oh yes, and a center console with cup holders😆
Loving our new GPS/Audio Panel! Can't wait to get the rest of the suite installed/cut new panels so we can be done with the avionics upgrade chapter. :) Glad you liked it!
I agree J there's only one 5:30 - 6.00 in my day. Great!
Ha ha. :)
You guys are great. So much fun.
PURE GENIUS! You trouble-shot the headset while in the air! Poetry! BTW, you are making a splash on UA-cam... the Survey generator recently asked for my preference of how best to promote your channel. Big Things on the way... Thanks as always for sharing your passion! =]
At 16:56 at your 3 o'clock that is Moccasin Bend on the TN River
Got any land for sell there? :) Looks like my kind of living.
Another great video! Your copilot is great! I sure envy you two. You guys are blessed with great jobs and a passion for aviation! Say hi to your copilot for me, you lucky rascal! lol
Love to meet you guys next time you stop in kcha! Might need to loose the Georgia hat though. GO VOLS!!
Great video, as usual! Looked like a great adventure. 👍
Thanks Harold! It's just starting to heat up. The arrival into the event was fun with holding on the lake and everything. :)
Love the vid once again! Keep it up! You better be coming to oshkosh this summer!
Glad you liked it! We will be there...not exactly sure what days but it's happening. :)
Made my Friday night..... Thanks guys
Awesome....mission accomplished Rick! :)
I'm so laughing at you both. Jaime Says something loving, and Kevin tries so hard not to act like he didn't really hear her. Kevin, you have it made!
Very nice flight - always love how different the perspective is from a GA aircraft as compared to those of us flying commercial... keep it up!
Thank you Lucas...glad you enjoyed it! Much better view from GA, in my opinion. :)
Great video. Well done to both!
Thank you John...glad you enjoyed it! :)
@@310Pilot yeah there is pretty tall terrain around that area , beautiful place for sure. Always best to make an adjustment and not take chances
Saw you guys passing through 3CK yesterday afternoon! I was out at the hangar, looked up, and saw you taking off.
You are now in my stomping grounds! I’m based out of 1A0 and RZR!
Your stomping grounds sure are pretty! :)
Tennessee River Take me home country road.
Haha , new song!
:)
A few years back when the garmin G1000 came out I got checked out to fly with that and you can’t go wrong with a system like that
Loved the approach, Loved your interactions , your both so much fun and
sometimes in's good to get high:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Thank you Rik...glad you enjoyed it! It's always good to get this kind of high. :)
Jamie you look cool with aviators on but you look cuuuuuute without. just say'n. hi from Aurora. wish I knew when you are taking off east sometime I could watch you go by
You two are a great team. And J, you are stinking cute!
Thank you Dennis...I agree on both counts. :)
I didn't know she actually spoke anything more than fight stuff, what a revelation! :))
Ha ha...you must not have seen all of our videos. :)
@@310Pilot >>> Sometimes, when watching her in your vids I get kind of _transfixed,_ and do not _hear_ all that much...😊
Another Great video. Love following you guys.
Thank you Paul...glad you liked it and thanks for the support!
Great video you guys!
@@310Pilot I can understand Jaime's view, it's like all of the birds flying/flocking home to roost at one time! Thanks for the reply and I'm glad to hear it's making such a difference for you, puts the pleasure back into pleasure flying!
It’s dark out there. Nice job!
Thank you...glad you enjoyed it!
I agree with Jamie you need center console. I need a middle console in my little box truck i drive so i could hold my clip board better now i have milk crate which works but could be a little higher
A couple of nice Twin Cessna owner viewers reached out and gave us some good options. :)
