Electric Angel was a pretty good early song by most standards at the time (November 2007 to be exact), so hearing this remix is rather pleasing.
This remix was composed and released by Aerial Flow back in 2008, and was provided for free from his original muzie account (which is now gone). I still have the original MP3, so I'm making it available for download again.

"Heavenly" and "Angelic" are both very appropriate words to describe Aerial Flow's vocal tuning methods. I honestly have no idea how he does it, but I can tell you that his music program of choice is REASON 6.5.

I used to play a memo called DDO and I loved having a playlist of 30 or 40 songs ready to go so I could grind XP. Many many many days and nights the music you uploaded kept me going.

It's kind of amazing that this remix is already 8 years old, that's more than a third of my lifetime, and in my opinion it's still one of the best vocatrance songs out there. If I could only keep one vocatrance song for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Everything in it just flows so smoothly. The melody is developing well without disrupting the flow of the song, and Miku's voice is mysterious and just goes perfectly together with the melody without any awkward vocal tones. I mean just listen to the first verse and how her voice intensifies along with the melody, it really sounds like the beginning of a great story.

This is what first got me into vocaloid back in 08. who else was listening to this back in 07/08 before miku became mainstream in the west?
Sire Kakes'A'Lot I'd be inclined to ask "popular where and in what way", but I'd guess you meant "more well-known in the West", which started happening around 2010~2011. In that case, yep. December 2007 here, and this song is what made me fall in love with Aerial Flow's music.

Back in 07/08 you bring up miku hatsune or vocaloid and most wouldn't have a clue what that was. fast forward to now and miku is a universally well known icon with common apparel sold in sorts of retail like spencers. just noting how far vocaloid has come from its small beginnings.

What I find odd though is how the album is titled "2008 Spring Best Song", yet this track I have is tagged with 2009. It's also in a higher bitrate than rips I'm finding on google (so far anyway, I'm still searching).

This track was uploaded on this channel 10 years ago ; I only discovered it about 2 years ago and I really love it , and the 2016 remake as well.
Aerial Flow did an amazing job with these remixes and some songs like Memory and Cold Leaf.
It seems he has vanished these last years , so I wonder if anyone knows if he is still producing music ...
