Brilliant help to my game, I wish I could take your videos out on the course but everyone will complain that I am holding them up.

You don’t need to have too much on your mind when playing. Rehearse at home
Even just the set up etc. swings with no shot strikes are more
      Valuable than folks realize

I started doing this last year after one of your videos, I have watched a couple of others that say you actually want to hit down on it like a long iron, with a tiny grass divot. I used to play it way up in my stance, and I topped it every time, I still have issues with my 3 and 5 wood, but I am getting much better.

Well I’m glad you’re with us. I’d also suggest you practice with these clubs but only trying for about half the distance. Once you have the majority feeling good strikes and shape.. Then ramp up the speed. Less is more a lot of the time 👍🏌🏽

I think most of us average golfers tend to push it right if we centre it a bit more, think it’s born out of it being a longer club, so we may try it a couple of times, push it right and then start letting it creep forward in the stance without solving the real cause. In my best guess the real cause would be freezing up in the body turn worrying about dinking it. Not letting the wrist get back into contact position ( at a guess, I’m just Joe normal at the great game ) I have recently got a launch monitor and sim set up in the garage that’s affording me time to hit poor shots and stick with it to improve technique so I’m looking forward to working on this one next 👍 as always another great vid from yourself, I will get back and comment after some work on it but I’m sure it will be a great help.
    Thank you 👏👏👏👏

always struggled with fairway woods. This makes sense. I thought I needed to have the ball way out in front like a driver.

Makes sense. Will give it a try as I normally have it off my left big toe and pretty much always top it.
What if you were to hit driver off the deck? Would that be similar?

@@TheArtofSimpleGolf last year i removed my 4i and 5i for 4h and 5h. Right now I'm a 3.8, so you can imagine the glares and razz I got from my weekly 4some. Until I pulled that 5h out on a 202y par 3 and they watched it land like a butterfly on the green 15 ft left of the pin, while theirs all hit front and rolled off the back. Its about scoring...keep the ego for the bedroom.

Eh Up - looks like a great way to improve balance and timing both of which I have issues with
I notice you have the Jumbo Grips on Driver and irons ? I've just fitted one on my Driver , do they work just as easy on irons ?? Garry B in Manchester

I have been very surprised at how much my own consistency has improved with the thicker grips. I’ve used midsize with double layer tape for years. But these are great through the bag

I added a 7 wood last season, and there were many occasions where the ball came off so weird, like a knuckle ball. I didn’t know what caused it.
