    I’ve just changed to a 12 degree driver- and you are so right and to back this up I use a 7 wood as my fairway club. I’m 72 and this has made a huge difference

    Hey Alex, thanks for all the great instruction. When I campare other's swings to yours you really take the cake. It's the swing i have been working hard toward.. You stay right in that elusive sweet spot most of the time. What's keeping you from winning a major tournament? Are other styles mo betta somehow? I know that swing's feel is like a drug and if there's a better way you are close and will find it.

    How about driver shaft and club face degree for a slower swing speed player. Should i use a lighter less spin designed shaft

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  8 місяців тому +1

      As a very general rule of thumb, using the lightest and whippiest shaft you can without sacrificing yards or dispersion is what yields consistency and desired flight for most. Go and test some out.

    Why do you teachers KEEP saying NOT to have your head down - then explain you do need to - you should - watch the club hit the ball. That is exactly what we/I mean by saying head down. If you turn your head before contact you'll hit bad shots. End of story.

    You lost me soon after you started. Strongly suggest you condense the lesson or shorten somehow. I wonder how many people listened to the entire lesson. I am NOT doubting your knowledge. It could just be presented in an easier way.

      There is no way to deliver 5 myths quicker and still actually help golfers learn and improve. A big part of many players problem is bouncing around from tip to tip and never knowing if it’s applicable. 13 mins for a golf lesson is t exactly long either. I’m sure we have other shorter and succinct lessons for you. I didn’t feel a full proper video could be done for each myth
