All hail Michael Fisher! Best reviewer in the tech world. Always watch your videos even if I am not really interested in the product. Well done sir, well done.
FINALLY, a review that doesn't just say this is a mild upgrade. The new gen is barely similar to gen 1. Different brand and quality processor (difference is night and day!), better display, huge battery that lasts a couple days with normal use, gorgeous real watch look thanks to metal hardware lugs, thinner profile due to flat back, easily switchable bands, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the incredibly improved placement of the button and mic, both where they should be based on ergonomics, where the fingers and mouth naturally align when using it... Really, the ONLY thing similar is the flat tire which I don't mind at all. And why do you say it costs "twice as much?". My Gen 1 was $325 and my gen 2 was $299.
I love my moto 360 G2 and works flawlessly with my nexus 6. Last week I went to Best buy returned my $150 first gen. moto 360 and took a hard look at the LG watch urbane but just did not care for the frame design and the bezel is so much thicker than the 360s thin very round design. after a week this is a fantastic piece of technology all the very cool watch faces and playing with Watchmaker premier is a blast. set it to auto brightness and always on and never worry about battery life till my watch goes in to bedside mode also so cool. so I can see me getting a nice stainless band and a sporty silicone one also.
+Jeffrey Hutomo it's actually called the Mono Link metal band for the Moto 360. It's not made for Pebble and it is found at Amazon since Motorola stopped making them. Hands down the coolest band around for the 360's, in my opinion.
I'm out to buy one this weekend, I'm sold. That thing looks awesome, and it's been months since my 1st gen Moto 360 broke (refuses to charge and power on) so I thing it's time to buy.
Nice complete review. Question : In (one) other written review there is the mentioning of the low resolution of the screen in ambient mode. With their watchface example the view is really ugly. But If i look at your video the low res ambient mode is so pronounce and the screen still looks sharp. The low res ambient screen was a dealbreaker for me, cause i don't like to wait for for the watchface to appear and i still like the screen to be crisp. Any thoughts on this or do i miss something or is there my misunderstanding on always-on and ambient mode ?
I'm new to smart watches and I'm looking to use one with my android phone. I like the look of this 2nd gen moto 360. And while all these reviews talking about the specs and what not are interesting, no one really talks about the functionality of it. What are some of the benefits of using an android smart watch? I obviously don't need it for the time, my phone has the time, so what are some useful things it can do? Can you download a ton of useful apps from the appstore or something? Can I use spotify on it?
At the end of the video it's said that, "just keep in mind that the discounts are probably coming right after the holidays". I'm looking to buy the Moto 360 2nd Gen now and I was wondering if it was worth it to wait. How much of a discount can be expected? And how long do I need to wait?
Did you test Moto 360 (2nd Generation) in pair with Samsung smartphone? I'm really curious if Android Wear will work with Samsung Apps like S Planner, S Health etc. Anyone knows?
I have no idea which combination on motomaker to choose, I only have $229 to spend so I can only afford the cheapest one of 42mm with no added extras. which colour combination do you recommend for me?
Um, I don't know if you noticed, but you can't make up a new name everytime because a: it would confuse people b: if the names really good, why get rid of it and c: there's only a limited number of names you can call a product
+armuk aw look at the butt hurt android fan, every product ever that has had another version of it come out has had the same name, Apple didn't start if
chedder140 how would it confuse people? There is a reason why it's called iPhone, iPhone 2, galaxy s1, galaxy s2 etc etc Calling every generation for iPhone and Galaxy S would confuse more. Go figure
Hi There -Could you please tell me if the upcoming Moto 360 sport(i.e. the gps version) automatically sync the time with any given location(without the need for a smartphone) ? Similar to other GPS HYBRID WAVECEPTOR watches like the Casio GShock GPW -1000 , Casio OCEANUS OCW-G1000, MRG-G1000 Atomic Solar hybrid etc. Thanks !
sorry I'm new to smart watches and very interested in them. from my understanding they connect to your phone via Bluetooth. so if I'm using Bluetooth headphones connected to my phone will the Moto 360 be able to be connected to my phone via Bluetooth as well?
I think could have done better with the design of the watch. If they still want the light sensor at the bottom they should have made it a square face watch to keep it uniform. only having a 1.5" screen and then cut some more off for the sensor. To me they would think a little more.
Looks great, this is honestly the first smart watch I would consider buying. Love that you can leave the display on, nothing is uglier than a big black bracelet.
The flat tire should be converted to a small solar panel like those found on G-Shock watches. If it had a solar panel to help the battery, it would be nearly perfect.
+Idontreadurreplies_umadbro the thing about g shocks though is that they are quite lightweight even the larger ones. i have one of the more pricey ones and it is still significantly lighter and more comfortable to wear than my gear s2 smartwatch
+drummer2443 Exactly! I have a G-Shock Rangeman and I've never had a problem with its size or weight. In fact, a Moto 360 isn't much thinner, lighter, or smaller in diameter.
when you order it on the official motorola site is there a wireless charging thing with it? Can you change youre watchface or is it alwayd gonna be the same like you order it?
Do this watch supports Call Function i.e. receiving and making calls from watch ?? Please kindly do reply me,its humble request and kindly also suggest whether it is better in comparison to Asus Zenwatch 2 ??
I have absolutely no problem with an LCD panel on a smartphone, especially if it’s a good panel like on the iPhones, but on a smart watch it just seems kind of dumb. With a dark background you can get a much better battery life with an OLED panel, not to mention always-on display is much more efficient if that’s your thing.
Definitely like the look of the metal strap my black leather one is nice, but I think I'd like the black metal band of they aren't super heavy anyways!
+CircumcisedUnicorn No its not the table itself that charges wirelessly, if you look closely beneath the watch you'll see a thin disk that is the actual charger.
The Motorola website says that this watch is compatible with iOS but how is the functionality with iPhone?,I know that Apple is not very open with third party products and the reviewer said that doesn't recommend it with iPhone but didn't explain any further, can anyone explain me why?,thanks.
This is also a great smartwatch just like the 1st gen. But the price difference is too much right now. You can buy two 1st gen moto 360 instead of the new one. Since it is an accessory, you don't need to spend that much for a smartwatch. I suggest everyone to wait for the price drop. When this watch is under 200$, then it would be a catch.
Hi, my moto360 2 touch screen is not work seen yesterday, I tried to reset many times but the touch screen got no response, any one got his problem and what can I do?
I don't use auto brightness on my phone because It takes too long for my OCD liking, therefore I'd rather have no flat tire, than an ambiet light sensor, like my G Watch R. There should really only be two brightness settings anyway, 100% and indoors brightness (50%).
Its a very nice watch. Love the small piece because I have a small wrist. However, I was very disappointed with the battery life. I used it for 7 days straight and it only lasts 10 hours most days. I was also disappointed that while i can answer calls, I still need to find my phone and pick it up because there is no speaker on this watch.
for some reason I respect Michael Fischer more than most reviewers, great work again!
+Chamal Rathnayake I agree i like how he doesnt try do make the phone more than it is
All hail Michael Fisher! Best reviewer in the tech world.
Always watch your videos even if I am not really interested in the product. Well done sir, well done.
I love Motorola a lot!! Like I wanna use Motorola : Motorola phone, Motorola airpods, and Motorola watch!! I'm I weird?!
note at 5:25 : it is the only *Android* wearable with wireless charging. gear s2 does too though it isn't android wear
wireless charger IN THE BOX
+John Matthews ... which is why we said "only Android wearable," yes. ^M
+Pocketnow 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 lmao
As always, pocket now doesn't fail to make arguable the best review.
just ordered mine, can't wait
I want this watch but glad to know about the capability with iPhone! Thanks for adding that!
I like the close-up shots; great work as usual!
Michael Fisher always does the most thorough reviews. Thanks for all of your hard work, your honest opinion helps me decide what new devices to get.
Well it's about time... get it? Okay I'll see myself out...
Haha good one

I love these vids, straight to the point and honest, the best . Love it
Amazing watch. I bought 6 of them yesterday!!!!!
Nice... dropped an F-bomb on us, naughty! lol
+SoN1NjA lol, so curious as to what that email was saying!
It's a campaign against cancer

agreed, well said.
but how did you manage to get a refund on your first gen? unless you bought recently?
+armuk oh yea I found it at Target just a few weeks ago and returned it there then went to Best Buy ...PureProfit
2:15 thats a really nice metal strap. Where did you buy it?
+Jeffrey Hutomo That's the steel watchband for the Pebble Time Steel. ^M
+Jeffrey Hutomo it's actually called the Mono Link metal band for the Moto 360. It's not made for Pebble and it is found at Amazon since Motorola stopped making them. Hands down the coolest band around for the 360's, in my opinion.
*bazinga* i don't care! 😊
Just go to Amazon or eBay or whatever, and search up 22mm metal watch band.
Motorola Moto 360 - Light Metal,only $119.99, you SAVE $79.01 (40%)>>www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OBHEQDK/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00OBHEQDK&linkCode=as2&tag=httpwwwechipk-20&linkId=50a8735ab7f6ecf444cb4c7a3bd3a2e7
3:31 great email notification
I'm a Pebble user and I'm really interested in the Pebble Time Round, will you guys do a comparison video with the Pebble Time OS vs Android Wear?
Nice review Michael. I'm looking forward in getting the Moto 360 with the Droid Turbo 2 or the Moto X Pure Edition in a few weeks.
I would like to meet you Mr Fisher and shake you by the hand, you do the best reviews on UA-cam.
"Fuck Cancer & X-Doria Partner to Launch Limited" - quote of the day
Hi there, i was wondering how you get to the chosen message respond instead of speaking to the watch at 3:36. Thanks
I'm out to buy one this weekend, I'm sold. That thing looks awesome, and it's been months since my 1st gen Moto 360 broke (refuses to charge and power on) so I thing it's time to buy.
I personally say the Hauweii watch is a better deal
+Mikey Guanipa So do I

I really like the product. I have seen Moto 360 Watch *Shoposhou* in offer low price in India. Thanks for sharing the video.😃😄😀
I reckon that the sole purpose of this review is to show off Michael's hair style.

save your money , never had to use a watch when cell phone was invented

Hey can you tell me what is the watch face at 4:28?? Thanks!

I have no idea which combination on motomaker to choose, I only have $229 to spend so I can only afford the cheapest one of 42mm with no added extras. which colour combination do you recommend for me?
does my 1st gen band work with the second one and is it worth it upgrading
Anyone know what the watch face shown at 6:00 is? Is it downloadable?
Can we store photos or access the ones present in our phone?
4:40 whats the watchface and stand
Why's it taking everyone so long to get around to reviewing this watch? Flat tire is not noticible after 5 minutes IMO. Great review, Michael.
I have the asus zenwatch 2 and I'm about sold on the Moto 360 2. I'm considering the Gear S2 also.
you don't like your zenwatch?
What is the metal band at 6:07?
How I hate it when a company releases a new version of a product but keeps the exact name
you can thank apple for that.. they started it with the ipad
Um, I don't know if you noticed, but you can't make up a new name everytime because a: it would confuse people b: if the names really good, why get rid of it and c: there's only a limited number of names you can call a product

Would be nice if we could some information about the 3rd party watch faces used. Some of these are nice!
+xreyuk Yeah, Michael Fisher, what is the one at 4:08 called and where can I get it?
+xreyuk The one at 2:36 is caller Chron and you can get it on google play for free.I'm still looking for the one I want
sorry I'm new to smart watches and very interested in them. from my understanding they connect to your phone via Bluetooth. so if I'm using Bluetooth headphones connected to my phone will the Moto 360 be able to be connected to my phone via Bluetooth as well?
Mathis Arnell yes you could use both
Where did you purchase that TREK watch face?
I think could have done better with the design of the watch. If they still want the light sensor at the bottom they should have made it a square face watch to keep it uniform. only having a 1.5" screen and then cut some more off for the sensor. To me they would think a little more.
I dont find the link to customize iz....
Hows the gold one? Does the gold wear off? Or is it real gold?
So you won't recommend an upgrade from the first generation?
Does it come with continues heart rate monitor? It will be great to monitor heart rate during workout.
So Google Now has the functionality of identifying songs. Doesn't it also work on Android Wear?
does this watch need wifi 24/7 to use all the features? throughout the day im not going to have wifi so what could i use on the watch without wifi?
Will they be able to fit really (really) small wrists?
I already WATCHED this WATCH commercial... I'll show my self out the door.
Looks great, this is honestly the first smart watch I would consider buying. Love that you can leave the display on, nothing is uglier than a big black bracelet.
Does motorola still upgrading their 360 watch? I mean wheres v3 or v4 in 2017?
I am really skinny, do you think this would fit on my wrist or would it just keep sliding about
Great review of a great watch!
The flat tire should be converted to a small solar panel like those found on G-Shock watches. If it had a solar panel to help the battery, it would be nearly perfect.
+PCMasterRace casios are nice but g shocks Are thick as fuck.
... flat tire is for most of the display drivers

do you always have to click the button when you want to do something or can you also click on the screen?
when you order it on the official motorola site is there a wireless charging thing with it? Can you change youre watchface or is it alwayd gonna be the same like you order it?
+Florian Portmann Just touch the screen ;) A charger is included ! And you also can change your watchface :)
Does anyone know what phone he is using with the watch in the video?
Do this watch supports Call Function i.e. receiving and making calls from watch ??
Please kindly do reply me,its humble request and kindly also suggest whether it is better in comparison to Asus Zenwatch 2 ??
I'm looking to get the new Moto X Pure right around the holidays - we'll see if I can snag a nice 360 2G to go with it. :)
Which one should i buy .. Gear s2 or moto360 but here in my country moto is hard to find
MOTO360
Great review ! i like this 2d Generation =)
I have absolutely no problem with an LCD panel on a smartphone, especially if it’s a good panel like on the iPhones, but on a smart watch it just seems kind of dumb. What is the watch face at 0:25
Can someone sent me a link of the motomaker for watches? cause i would like to go on it but i cant find the website!
thanks ;)
Nice review!
Major revision coming to Android Wear? Do tell.
What's that second watch at 2:40?
huwei watch
do you know when its the next generation is coming up?
2020
these look so much better than any other smart watch.
are these watches still made?
Definitely like the look of the metal strap my black leather one is nice, but I think I'd like the black metal band of they aren't super heavy anyways!
4:28 LCARS FTW! (Yes, I'm an avid Trekker)
4:22 Thats a really beautiful watchface. How is it called?
+Rares Teodorescu It's called Circles Watch Face, you can get it here: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deveddy.circleswatchface
Will this work with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 even if the tablet need wifi to function?
Assuming the tablet is on and connected to wifi but not with me.
Just wondering can u connect iPhone instead of android
Does anyone know what that wireless charging table is at 5:33? That shit is just what I need in my room
+CircumcisedUnicorn No its not the table itself that charges wirelessly, if you look closely beneath the watch you'll see a thin disk that is the actual charger.
Is there dedicated mic and speaker for answer the call ???? Please anybody tell me.. Thanks
The best looking smart watch, PERIOD!
whats with the black strip on the bottom?
Does Moto Maker work in Europe?
How much is a sale price..??
Why is there a black area on the bottom of the watch screen?
does it have music and camera control?
The Motorola website says that this watch is compatible with iOS but how is the functionality with iPhone?,I know that Apple is not very open with third party products and the reviewer said that doesn't recommend it with iPhone but didn't explain any further, can anyone explain me why?,thanks.
It works, but the functionality is very limited when paired with iOS
+DukeQkann ok thanks for your reply,I think I'll pass on it then.

What is the watch face on the thumbnail?
Will there really be a 3rd gen in 2016?
No.
There should really only be two brightness settings anyway, 100% and indoors brightness (50%).
keep up the good work , thanks

When is Motorola releasing a 3rd gen Moto360?
Will the first gen work with an s4???
The 4GB of storage, can you store songs and use Bluetooth earphones?
Good review.
Does this work with the Huwaei Honor 7
3:31 michael droping a fire truck
cant we use any of the features without internet?
With Android Wear 2.0 yes ;)
