I can watch your video all day long. Lol. I wish we could get all the Mustangs worth saving from the salvage yards and bring them to you to save.
Still impressed by your knowledge, skills and passion for these Mustangs. Thanks for letting us hang out with you.
Hey there, I really enjoy watching your work as well.
I am currently doing a 65 Fastback I bought, with much panel replacements, though it needed much more. I have gained a lot of tips from your videos, more importantly, the confidence to undertake larger ones, like torque boxes front and rear.
👍 Thanks ..
Amazing work on this one. Can't wait to see the repair on the upper part of the B pillar around the drip rail.
Dude. Just can't get enough of watching u work. Everything is so factory and better. U are going to own some beautiful cars. Keep up the great videos and u have a safe day.
Great video as always. You're the 'Stang whisperer.....
Better video, sharing knowledge is rewarding to everyone. Quarter panel to door is the hardest fit. Good tips.
An expert craftsman 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼 #savingtherustbuckets !
Man, you sure have patience align that door striker.
I just love your videos...keep them coming..
Thanks, trying for an upload every other day!
I do too! Love the format and this guy is a true craftsman. Thanks for posting.
No kidding but as soon as i see the notification of a new video i stop what im doing to watch it specially because i am currently working on my car as well.
Nice! Thank for watching
Great watching your videos, I have a basket case 73 Mach 1 which ive had chemically dipped and will be replacing most of the panels on my own channel . Ive watched all your videos and hopefully I will get the replacemet order correct , you seem to have your order of process perfected so Im using your videos as a guide . Love watching them your work is really great 👍
Get you some exploded view books. That will tell you where everything goes welds, and sealer.
You are truly a gifted and talented master of your craft! I hope someday to have a restoration done by you 🙏...keep up the good work and please keep posting videos they're great.
You sure get a lot done in a short amount of time.
Can't wait for the quarter panel video, good stuff as always.
Though it may look repetitious it's being meticulous that really counts. Think about it. If Ford had had the time when these were first built to have been hand built they'd be master pieces today. As a Chevy Camaro / Malibu first and Ford Mustang / T Bird a very close second man....I'm still amazed time after time seeing Ben do his thing. Great job....Thanks for letting us see your work and bringing the best years of Detroit back to life Ben!
Side note: When I was 11 years old my then future brother-n-law had a 67 fast back. His brother traded it to him for his 65 coup. Asking why, he said his 65 brought more in trade in value. Go figure...that was in 1968.
Keep them coming Ben. These are the best videos on the metal work that I have found on the early model mustangs. I never knew the B pillars were two piece. Was it like that from the factory. I never got that deep into the body work.
Yes they are 2 piece originally
I got really lucky finding a 68 with only minor rust in the lower rear quarters. .. You sir are a BEAST at knock'n these shells out !
Good work
You make it look so easy
Really appreciate the videos and in depth work
Great job… making it look east which I can guarantee it isn’t
Currently working on the b-pillars of my 67 convertible. Thanks for the tip on the outer tab that you didn't weld to the rocker. Really enjoy your videos.
a wounderful profi Job very very nice,Great watching your videos ,Love watching them your work is really great thank you best regards from Vienna to you and U.S.A👍👍
Coming right along
That's good info for replacing the b pillars looking forward to the next video thumbs up 👍..
Great work. Love watching your videos on UA-cam.
Good work!
Nice job. 👍
Awesome video time flew by wow
Hi Ben. I am a proud owner of a 1966 notch back Mustang which is all very original. I enjoy watching your work and I must comment on how clean you keep your shop and working area. Are you a Virgo? I am and that is how I like to work. Anyway i have a question, have you tacked the body to the stands and floor as I don't see any movement in it when you climb in and out of it? I am sure this is important for the alignment of everything. Cheers Ian Langley New Zealand
When does it become just too much rust? I'm just asking. I have no idea. It just seems like at this point you're assembling a new vehicle? Yes? No? Again, just asking. I love watching your channel. Great content and great presentation.
Great job
Your a metal master !
Zoom zoom
Great! Thank you PR
Do you work on this and the pink car on your time off or after-hours or is this your main day job? Basically is this your job or your hobby? I like the step by step of each stage..... will make a great documentary once it's all done as you also teach along the way.....most youtubers just fix the cars they don't detail how and why they do each step like you do..... best of luck with the builds....
This is my full time job, I also manufacture some parts and do other customer cars through the week that I cant film
Great videos, particularly good to reference your sequence of works. I have a 70 Mach1 in similar condition. Who makes the best replacement panels or do you tend to use a mix depending on what you need. Thanks.
This is the first complete car I can remember that you have done on your channel. How much will be invested when it is finished.
This one is a customers car
What welder do you use, nice setup
Looking more beautiful every time I see it Ben, - is this one already sponsored or will it be going straight up for sale?
Its a customers car
A question - who makes these stampings from there own dies or old Ford ones ..?
What whas the original specks on this car? 🤔
Are you using core flux or mig
Possible to get bodydimensions of the whole body online?
None out there that I know of
@@petersonrestorations possible to order books somewhere?
Where did you get your upper B panel at?
Cj pony parts most likely
5:37 I WOULD OF HAD A TRIANGULAR BRACE FROM THE CENTER BACK TO THE B PILLAR ON BOTH SIDES
NOW YOU'VE LOST THE LATERAL POSITION ORIGINAL AFTER CUTTING HALF THE B PILLAR
Wow, you replace a lot! Why not just build from all new parts? Preserving the vin number?
so u change everything, why don't u just build a jig tool & then just put all the new parts in it an weld them?
This is more fun
Why not just buy the hole shell and inner structure , shit your only using roof inner structure that is rusted anyways , you only bought car for vin number
Cars using their original VIN number are a far more valuable commodity (and investment) than creating a new vehicle from scratch because they have a traceable history going right back to when they came out of the factory. (Spec, colour, engine etc) this is termed “its provinence” A newly built vehicle is basically considered a “replica” of the original cars and therefore does not have much appeal to collectors.
