I have been following your channel. I’m doing a sympathetic preservation of my 68 KR. Although I have been giving thumbs up on videos while watching TV, I had to take a moment to write a comment. The quality of your work is excellent. The instructions you give are detailed and you demonstrate high skill and precision. You show others what a high standard job should look like. Any car coming out of your shop would undoubtedly be top shelf and run with any of the top restorers. Keep up the good work and I truly appreciate the high quality demonstrations. It makes me pull up my socks to do my best work. Cheers.

Too dark to see what you're doing in the car. Maybe add a light inside so we can see. Otherwise, awesome job and cool '67 'Stang.

That rod detail is the difference between a nice smooth headliner and a 'stretched' to fit looking headliner.

Hi Ben, your dusk rose Mustang looks so solid and strong. I know this one is a keeper for you and it’s going to be beautiful. I hope it stays safe with you all of your life until maybe you pass it on to an interested grandchild, but hopefully not for many many happy driving years to come! Bless you and stay safe young man! 👍😊🇬🇧

I had a 66 coupe and I put a vinyl head liner in mine I made myself, I sew right to the existing liner, I did have a problem around the back window, so I did it in 2 sections with a seam in the middle, it looked really great. Windlace is good for other things also, I had 2 deuces sticking through the hood and I used windlace around the opening I made in the hood, Looked really good

A guy I work with was restoring a 68 Camaro. I helped him with some stuff. I have installed seat upholstery with pretty good results. I crawled into the car and looked at the head liner. What a mess, not sure who he got to install it but it looked terrible. They also used way too much windshield and back glass adhesive also. So much that we couldn't install the clips to hold the window moldings. You make stuff look easy when in fact, it isn't One more good job, the head liner looks good in that fastback.

Metal binder clips (looks like a chip clip for paper) also work great to hold the headliner in place.

Please consider usibg a light when you're working in the cabin of the car, weas the audience can't see what you are doing unless you provide a light source for the shot. A small underhood flourescent light bar should do the trick...😉👍

I am restoring a 1986 Mustang coupe and I installed a TMI one piece headliner. So easy and great looking with more head room. They cost a lot more than the original but for a restomod they are awesome. Wondering if you would go for this on your Mach 1 resto.
