I want to understand everything which is pretty overwhelming I must say and it makes me really frustrated as well because I obviously can't do so many things at once even though I desperately want to agh. Also while I'm more dominant intuitively, I relate with all the other subtypes at certain levels too, especially the perceiving wild card.
Everybody writes about "I am like this", "I am the epidemy of that" or the absolute classic "We ENTPs are" but nobody is asking: How does an ENTP with strong fe looks like, how someone with developed si? Moments like that let me struggling with the idea that most of the cyber ENTPs are not fake or wrong typed. To many blind believing, to little healthy questioning.
The thing I least correlated with was not being able to sleep because of planning things. If I plan it is in such a long term that it doesn't sound like a plan but a path, direction. However I cannot sleep because I always think about abstract things from the meaning of life to how a fork originated.
I always wondered why I had so many sleepless nights ahaha. So hard to just turn off my brain. Trying to the think about sleepy things and than my brain goes in 5 Different directions 😂usually just fall asleep but overthinkin my brain and just passing out
Wildcard mostly :), but I also relate to the intuitive. Not so much to the other two, which actually makes sense if I think about the percentages on my mbti test results: N is extreme, P is obvious. T and E are just above 50% usually
My brother is an ENTP and I’m ENFP. It’s funny how we’re both so similar and yet so different in so many ways. What I notice is that we get along very well but the people we get along with are very different. My older sisters an ESFP and they hate each other’s guts while I love her. Funny how that happens.
I'm an ENTP thinking subtype. It was strange because I fit as ENTP, also the tests demonstrate it, but I get to finish things with extreme willpower, it's difficult for me because I'm ENTP hahaha, but finally I do, even getting the necessary help from the correct persons. Also I'm very logical since I can remember (2 years old) but still very dreamy, as I'm primarily an ENTP haha. So now I understand why, thank you. (Sorry my English, I'm Spanish)
I'm the intuitive entp, don't worry I've learnt what i haven't learnt and i know what yet to expect from what i don't know about what i haven't learnt.
Also intuitive ENTP here, hi :) and as I was reading this, trying to figure it out analyze it my brain was hurting. As a good ENTP I haven't given up on it though, it's difficult to fully grasp so that makes it interesting! You mind teaser 😜 lol
Perceiving Wildcard for sure :p Today I was observing a kid at the bakery and noticed he had placed his phone on the counter. I was worried he might forget it there. I got distracted for a while and next thing I notice - the boy is gone but the phone is still on the counter. Thankfully he realised it in no time and came running back in to get his phone.
Cool, I liked this video very easy to understand and relate to (or not). While none of these resonated completely out of the four I'm firmly in the loose screw subcategory, so much so the others might as well have been different types altogether, so maybe it's interesting to say a little bit about that from my own experiences. The troublemaker - "not seeing and owing up to mistakes", that seems completely foreign to me. I always do, I always want to analyse it and I'm usually the first one to spot it, and a bit embarrassed when I'm not. The wildcard - "they might say X and then they don't". There's a truth to that but that's more a matter of circumstance then a choice. When I (ultimately) decide to X with someone else that's a very firm X and reality really has to make an effort to change that. If I am undecided I am as such beforehand. The Tactician - "having no regards for others", that is just wild to me and sounds like an immature intp who hasn't developed their third function at all. Which is sad indeed, listening to your Fe is the prime means with which an entp will gove meaning to their life. Someone else said something on this point that really stuck with me, "if you don't know what to do go find someone to do something for". And then the Loose screw - curiosity definitely rules my world and you described it perfectly. Yet there's this one thing you said ... "They cut corners". While it's true I might drop something (or put it on the backburner) even quicker then I got interested in it, when I'm in it I'm in it. "Can't you do something for 80%" a friend of mine asked a while back and he even posited that as a challenge. But no, and I can't imagine doing anything I'm invested in while (consciously) cutting corners. Though I guess it's hard to tell when you are creating something neat or MacGyvering a monstrosity wjen your skills aren't up for the job..... Ok maybe I cut corners .... Most probably .... But only because I'm usually most invested in things I am learning at the same time and within the confines of that process I'm giving it my all. So I wouldn't say we cut corners but are a bit oblivious to our shortcommings.... Which is actually something I talk about at work a lot, we need to guard eachothers blind spots ... Which I guess is hard for others to do when an entp is satisfying their curiosity, so we probably end up cutting corners without knowing let alone intending it. This was a cool video and as I was typing I started thinking about the things you said a bit differently. Nicely done 😊
I can definitely identify with the wild card and loose screw entp the most. I’m honestly really struggling. I can’t decide what to do with my life. I’m scared for my future and my family depends on me supporting them but I never find any job fulfilling for more than a few months, then it become the most irritating, redundant, repetitive crap that I dread waking up to every morning. Also paperwork is nauseating and I’d rather hang myself for one minute at a time until someone finds me and I have to explain that I’m hanging myself in protest to paperwork.
U might try taking a vocational aptitude test like strong interest inventory and then discuss w a career counselor. If u have college degree and live near your alma mater they usually have this help free to alum. Also I would suggest u look up o*net website. Learn how to use it bec it’s very very powerful and then once u have better idea of your best used attributes, cross reference those in onet It may surprise u to find other occupations that may align better or at least align w things u r most interested in
We recignized many points in our life, and had a discussion with a friend over this video as a newly discovering MBTI INTP friend, Taking them On the CPT journey already as well, and hopefully will be Taking the Transendential cognitive function route. I/We have found it to be exceptionally fun to be able to switch into a new personality framework
I feel as though I'm all 3 (excluding Wildcard) by different amounts and in different situations. Sometimes when I was watching I was just confused about it all. I can work on projects deep into the night for weeks, then abandon it without fully testing it. However, I'm not the sales type at all, I despise those types.
So.... when analyzing where I fall on the spectrum for each Myers Briggs parameter, I land at about 90% on the E-N-T-and P poles. When I hear these traits described, I have a strong “Yes! That’s exactly what I am and those traits make me awesome!” response. So much so, that I find it almost hard to imagine somebody being content if they are Introverted, or Sensing, or Feeling [Maybe not those who are Judging, because that would be a really useful trait that might actually help me get something done every once in a while]. Lol Is it natural for people across all types to have this sort of “of course that’s how people should be” response when viewing their types? I see a lot of pride in the ENTP community for our typing and wanted to know if that is a unique characteristic of this type (Because we’re all cocky little pricks) or if that is something that all types experience?
That's nice if it doesn't go too far (about as much as being aggressively proud of one's nation, or one's gender). I feel similar about my type INTJ, better than all opposite traits, except that INFJ is nicer!
Having been around MBTI for 40 yrs I think, in general that NT and NF types find MBTI more interesting whereas SJ and SP find it boring, uninteresting, or r just plain scared bec it describes their taking in of information so accurately. Sensors r a lot more cognizant of detail around them and Ns are much more holistic and global in their thinking.
I think we ENTPS and INTJS are somewhat more proud of ourselves and unique traits as other types might have been. I have no single idea why but this is my personal observation as I'm getting older I find myself observing people and how they react or feel much more than I did before. I also think INFJs are nicer than we are, I would say they are the most amazing and unique type with strong ideals since they combine the good sides of us ENTPs and INTJs mostly but also with lots of empathy for other people and a developed eq which we are probably lacking a little bit.
Im loose screw then 😉 good description! (but I finished!!!! six full and long educations, each took years, one six, another seven, the shortest still one year.)
Chris D. Cheers to you-- i related to all them but the N most. It feels like a curse sometimes to be so self-aware that its hard to categorize yourself bc our Si stores can be so full of info that can prove pretty much any example of a contrarian sentiment. Aka one second we think "i am this" then three seconds later "but wait i also am this bc of that time..."
Derek Townsley true :-))) but Id say my Si is rather empty and with no Fi theres not much identity but then lots of NeFe flexibility etc etc and then Ni ignoring, then you can think you can be anything.
i relied on my Ti so much when i was in my teenage years, because i was so uncomfortable with the way people percieved my more eccentric and wild behaviors, to the point i thought i was an intp fot the longest time. it was quite a miserable time, i was very uncomfortable with the way i interacted with people and how my desire for change was unfulfilled. i assume it came from my developing Fe wanting to fit in and the general discomfort of going through puberty. now i resemble my childhood self much more, i learned how to stop caring about other people's feelings when they interfere with my own sense of self
We’re all the four but I think there is some more than others. For me it’s like : extroverted troublemaker 1, thinking tactician and perceiving wildcard 2 and intuitive loose screw at the end
Some of what you said was a bit off IMO. Finding out I was an ENTP at 18 has given me a lot over my lifetime. We r extremely ethical unless we were taught otherwise. And believe me we get sick of people. For me it’s the constant stupidity and the total lack of curiousness of so many. The sales example, I think it’s off a bit. I am sure there r those that r guilty of that but really what u stated sounds more like an SP not an NT. We just don’t tolerate idiots well and believe me we have to put up with a lot of jealously, envy, intolerance and outright hate of us. We can’t help that r brains r fast and seek patterns. And u definitely r right about reading people. I can do that at a level that people r amazed at but I find it fairly easy bec ppl give themselves away all the time w their behavior and motivations
I definitely fall more under Thinking and Wildcard and I use alot of the wildcard stuff to help the thinking stuff. Some of your examples were dead on right as I work in sales and am definitely more on the selfish side but I'd like to point out that it's not that I "can't see or take responsibility" for my gains that take away from others because I definitely am aware of the fact of it when it happens and I process it with a level of guilt. I definitely choose to keep doing it and I'm not going to try and explain it in a way that still makes me a good person, but rather I just wanted to point out that we do know what we're doing and do feel some guilt for it... just not enough guilt to stop
I think it's more likely that there is one or two of these subtypes that ENTPs will not identify with, than than them identifying with one over the others that's how I feel
I honestly cannot really 100% relate to any of them. I like to make subtypes of mbti types with enneagram. For example there are important differences between ENTP 8w7 and ENTP 3w4 and so on.
Lmaooo I scored highest in perception and intuition and I’m definitely a wild card with some loose screws. I know a few of the a moral thinking types. I was always so jealous since I can never finish anything. But compromising ones morals to get ahead would mean I couldn’t use morals as a grounds to win arguments on the internet without lying to myself. Lmao
I am definitely a wildcard, you will never know what im about to do, and to be honest i dont know myself, i just get a idea and i stick to it, if it doesnt involve work or study.
Like- thelastone (tactician) REALLY called me out- LIKE I FEEL BAD SOMETIMES SKIPPING PARTIES AND BEING LIKE "um, i know your emotional(ly vulnerable[?]) but got things to do, sorry-" ADFSGHAJH
i have been all of these types. i go through phases. but probably my default is perceiving. even dead tired, sick, and limping along i'll still finish a person's sentence for them. i don't know who is more annoyed...me or the person that got rushed along.
Although I can relate to all of them I do feel I’m more of the Wildcard. But I’m wondering if these are all just stages that some might get stuck in.. hmm..
Hm.. so I'm definitely the extraverted ENTP, but for that title, I'm surprisingly introverted, time I spend socializing is time I don't spend working on my projects
Me an entp with God complex watching this like. What can I learn and take advantage of so I can be more persuasive and get more comfortable and benefits from it?
hah i feel you, im all of the above, im an ENTP-A, at this point i embrace chaos, I am the Mistress of Mayhem. everything is a matter of perspective though, i can see what you mean with the negatives, but i strongly disagree. Enjoy the ride and start working with and not against yourself, and then it might get easier
How do you explain then that I have done the myers test and had ENFP result once and ENTP twice? You really sure there is no overlap. How are you so sure of this? I'm not disagreeing but you but why do people so firmly into categories?

I found a book many, many years ago called "How to Gain Control of Your Time and Your Life." It was on time management, and probably could have been written in five pages. it was basically about making to-do lists. Anyway, it was the only self-help book that actually really helped. It clarified my understanding of my own use of time to the point that it became really difficult to procrastinate, because I was so aware of when I was doing it. It also helped me clarify my priorities. You could probably find a used copy for a dollar on Abebooks.

Also while I'm more dominant intuitively, I relate with all the other subtypes at certain levels too, especially the perceiving wild card.
Everybody writes about "I am like this", "I am the epidemy of that" or the absolute classic "We ENTPs are" but nobody is asking:
How does an ENTP with strong fe looks like, how someone with developed si?
Same :) N is 90%, P is also 77%, E is around 65% and T is as low as 54%
Seahorse mating is unbelievably cool.
I think I'm a loose screw. LMAOOOO as soon as I saw that was one of the options, I was like - yeah. That's me.
Great video. And I like how you say yump rather than jump
I’m such an entp. It’s so fun to hear it from someone else’s POV
Well, I feel like I made of pieces now. T and N, I am pretty thankful for Universe I have T - the only reason I have done anything at all I planned.
Loose screw sounds like me
“Development and type”, key idea, it all depends, cannot choose just one type, good thinking Eric
I have been all four at various points in life. Mostly tactician in recent years
I'm the intuitive entp, don't worry I've learnt what i haven't learnt and i know what yet to expect from what i don't know about what i haven't learnt.
Also intuitive ENTP here, hi :) and as I was reading this, trying to figure it out analyze it my brain was hurting. As a good ENTP I haven't given up on it though, it's difficult to fully grasp so that makes it interesting! You mind teaser 😜 lol
Perceiving Wildcard for sure :p
Today I was observing a kid at the bakery and noticed he had placed his phone on the counter. I was worried he might forget it there. I got distracted for a while and next thing I notice - the boy is gone but the phone is still on the counter. Thankfully he realised it in no time and came running back in to get his phone.
so spot on with the perceiving wildcard description
I’ve decided I’m an intuitive loose screw But I really want to do the things
The 5 people that disliked for some reason: 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Yeah me and my friend are ENTP’s who are very similar but also very different in how we view life
So.... when analyzing where I fall on the spectrum for each Myers Briggs parameter, I land at about 90% on the E-N-T-and P poles. Lol
Is it natural for people across all types to have this sort of “of course that’s how people should be” response when viewing their types? I see a lot of pride in the ENTP community for our typing and wanted to know if that is a unique characteristic of this type (Because we’re all cocky little pricks) or if that is something that all types experience?
That's nice if it doesn't go too far (about as much as being aggressively proud of one's nation, or one's gender). I feel similar about my type INTJ, better than all opposite traits, except that INFJ is nicer!
Enfp is the nicer version of us
Agressively passive agressive for the win
Having been around MBTI for 40 yrs I think, in general that NT and NF types find MBTI more interesting whereas SJ and SP find it boring, uninteresting, or r just plain scared bec it describes their taking in of information so accurately. Sensors r a lot more cognizant of detail around them and Ns are much more holistic and global in their thinking.
I would say I don't really want to change because I'm not easily manipulated and I'm entertaining to most people.
Im loose screw then 😉
good description!
Derek Townsley true :-))) but Id say my Si is rather empty and with no Fi theres not much identity but then lots of NeFe flexibility etc etc and then Ni ignoring, then you can think you can be anything.
i think i am half tactician and half loose screw. that makes me lunatic tactician or tactical madman.
i’m definitely the wildcard and loose screw
i relied on my Ti so much when i was in my teenage years, because i was so uncomfortable with the way people percieved my more eccentric and wild behaviors, to the point i thought i was an intp fot the longest time. it was quite a miserable time, i was very uncomfortable with the way i interacted with people and how my desire for change was unfulfilled. i assume it came from my developing Fe wanting to fit in and the general discomfort of going through puberty. now i resemble my childhood self much more, i learned how to stop caring about other people's feelings when they interfere with my own sense of self
Seems I can fall into every subtype to a degree and maybe especially the intuitive and thinking one...
That's pretty much all of the ENTP's inner personas
I think it's more likely that there is one or two of these subtypes that ENTPs will not identify with, than than them identifying with one over the others that's how I feel
Very interesting! Nicely explained. I know an extroverted and perceiving entp.
I have a question.. How did you find you're an infj?
Thank you! I needed this! (Wow I've never been first before)
I honestly cannot really 100% relate to any of them.
I feel like im a combination of all of these types 🤣🤣 , its really hard to think of one subtype.
I've bounced between all of them.. I remember having full years of being a tactician then a complete loose screw. Im still loose screw lol
Mmm I love you. Knowledge is power. You get that.
Regards,
An intuitive ENTP
I'm probably Wildcard ENTP subtype.
Tactician and wildcard subtypes fit me best, but I can’t pick one of there other, the other two don’t describe me at all.
That was interesting. Thank you!:)
Spiralling out...lol- perciever 1 step a head true wildcard+ loose screw curious🖐
I fit all four depending on the day or situation
I am definitely the thinking tactician:P
Except for extroverted troublemaker I am all three of those.
-Entp
I'm all subtypes :O I do all those things!
mostly Perceiving for sure
I knew there was a way to categorize people's behavior took some test and here I am feeling stupid
I'm all of these combined
Although I can relate to all of them I do feel I’m more of the Wildcard. But I’m wondering if these are all just stages that some might get stuck in.. hmm..
70% Wildcard 30% Loose screw for me
Sure AF see myself as a loose screw!
heh!
I’m not sure which subs I belong to though...I could jump from intuitions to tactic and to wildcard..Hmm..🤔
I’ve got too many projects unfinished 😅
I'm an Introverted ENTP it's weird. (but I like to socialize online)
I was each type in different moments of my life ☠️😭
Hm.. so I'm definitely the extraverted ENTP, but for that title, I'm surprisingly introverted, time I spend socializing is time I don't spend working on my projects
Me an entp with God complex watching this like. What can I learn and take advantage of so I can be more persuasive and get more comfortable and benefits from it?
i hate my personality. none of these sound good. i’ve been all of those
Haha 😭
hah i feel you, im all of the above, im an ENTP-A, at this point i embrace chaos, I am the Mistress of Mayhem. everything is a matter of perspective though, i can see what you mean with the negatives, but i strongly disagree. Enjoy the ride and start working with and not against yourself, and then it might get easier
Im definitely the loose screw type 😂🤭
Why are ENTPs more crazy than ENFPs? Both lead with Ne.
(I could also ask why INTPs are more crazy than INFPs ...)
_ENTP subtypes:_
NeTi
NeFe
TiSi
FeSi
As an ENTP I don't claim tacticians
is it possible to be more then 1?
How do you explain then that I have done the myers test and had ENFP result once and ENTP twice? You really sure there is no overlap. How are you so sure of this? I'm not disagreeing but you but why do people so firmly into categories?
Considering their cognitive functions’ stack as well as temperament... yeah, there pretty damn different
@@SerafRhayn What you mean Seraf ?
@@jimmajamma2006 there are 8 cognitive functions and each type has them in a different order (top 4 being the most relevant). The articles below explains them best.
ENTP: www.psychologyjunkie.com/2018/07/08/entp-personality-profile-an-in-depth-look-at-the-visionary/

I think I'm a loosescrew, any advice on procrastination? lol
Im all of those things
At parties, I like to do this Fe thing with gelatin, it always cracks everyone up.
Instantly Googling how does seahorses mate..
From now on call me PNET
i am the 4 of them???
Which are you Erik?
I want what you’re on
carl jung
I'm a Entp Enneagram 4, and a Christian.
This made me wanna die. Bad ENTP
