1440p/60fps should be the performance mode target for all current gen games. If devs can go above then fine but I’d rather have 1440p/60fps high-ultra settings then a higher res with medium settings.
I’m disappointed that Respawn hasn’t utilized the DualSense as much as they could have. That was the main reason why I preordered Jedi: Survivor on my PS5 over my Xbox Series X. 😞
The first was a rare 100% completion on Steam for me! Cannot wait for this bad boy to drop tomorrow, especially with all the positive reviews coming out!
how do you feel now? have you tried it? it has mostly negative reviews and I just saw a steam review that someone with an i9-13900kf, 32gb DDR5 6000mhz, and a 4080 got roughly 30fps while playing.
@souptime_mp4 I am literally installing on PS5 as we speak. Heard about a ton of negative issues on console as well. Damn shame, I'll give it a bash though.
@@Monumentum616 Awesome! please let me know how it runs on there! I've heard with performance mode on ps5 it usually runs 60, but there are definitely frame drops. It is a shame though because it seems like most games that come out now are just unfinished :(
@souptime_mp4 After a couple of hours on PS5, I'd have to say that I'm pretty much loving it. Game just has a great vibe; technically, there is some screen tearing, slight frame dips, HDR is completely broken, and I found some odd character model madness whilst using photo mode. None of that affected my enjoyment in the slightest though, probably needed a couple more months in the oven to iron out the big creases, but overall, it's magic!
@@Monumentum616 That is a breath of fresh air for sure. Kind of makes me regret selling mine lol. I'm sure patches will come out soon to help with performance and issues. I'm glad to hear that it's amazing though!!
Word. Hopefully they patch it soon. It's not HORRIBLE on performance mode but it's not buttery smooth like Ghost of Tsushima. Like every other game on PS5 though, Quality mode is absolutely useless unless you like playing a laggy feeling mess.
Yeah, let's just stop with all the quality and performance mode bullshit. This is ps5, a new generation. Quality looks beautiful but runs like shit and performance doesn't perform...ALL DEVS ELIMINATE THESE OPTIONS AND GIVE US 1600P AT 60 FPS on all games going forward
Sounds like ps5 is the best version right now. Glad I didn't get it on pc like originally planned. I'm still going to wait for a few more patches though
Hello , i got the game and i can see your comments about the frame (pre patch) rate and tearing are absolutely accurate; i assume i'm playing whitout the d1 patch you are mentioning, but when i check te version it says 1.000.002; can you confim that you are playing a newer version?
There's an article from yourselves that say, the six week delay was put to good use. Exactly how is a game releasing in such a state an indication that a six week delay was worth it?.
It won’t look blurry on your screen lol, like it’s not going to be more blurry. Fuck most games you play on your tv almost never hit anything close to 4k.
@@Enoo_ drs with good scaling and solutions/upscaling techniques make a world of a difference for image clarity. But even fallen order looks extremely blurry on my 4k oled. It’s because that game was a flat 1440p60 and nothing else. So I think it will look blurry. Especially with all my experiences with 1440p on this display
I agree 100% this game needed to be at least 1600p to not have a blurry look to it. If the visuals are not leagues better than the first than people should be disappointed considering we're on an entirely new generation Of hardware. I’m sure the game is great. I know personally I refuse to play it though. If your going to use shitty business practices I will not be apart of it. I’m aware that’s no longer a thing or at least they reigned it in quite a bit but EA won’t be seeing any of my money in that game. Perhaps things could change with BF3
The problem with 1440p in this game is that the game already has a soft, hazy look to it. This game needed some kind of upscaling to at least 1600p-1800p so this is a shame.

Having played some today for a stream, I think the PS5 version still has its issues.
