  • I decide to dive a little deeper into my 6.0L short block and evaluate what I am working with. This 6.0L will be swapped into the 2002 Silverado that I have featured on this channel a few different times. Drop a comment and tell me what you think about this motor and whether I should run it, or fully rebuild it.

I decided on a cam motion cause I didn’t wanna fly cut the pistons. The dude told me a big cam could give me problems since I’m getting my heads milled and we went with a custom cam. I also got a 6.0. I just hope it makes power

@@Stan1le hell yeah I read 2 books and watched tons of videos. Are you happy with yours? I was suspicious of getting a cam off the shelf cause of my heads, and the guy at cam motion told me to get something smaller to be safe

@@JuanyJuanes oh yea I love it. I had a really small cam motion camshaft (stage 1) in my original 5.3L in the past and honestly that was my favorite cam yet. I’m still dialing in this setup but I am very satisfied with this cam.

Thanks for your comment! I am sure this motor didn't have the best life.

Stop the press’s. Shut down the assembly line. Gone on and do it right, the first time. Do the block, the rods, bearings, pistons, rings, another cam, timing chain, oil pump, gaskets and seals. Don’t rush the job. Because when you rush, that’s when it goes bad. Take your time and do it right.

After I made this video I kept thinking about the build and it just doesn't sit right to just throw it together. I agree with you, because I would like to avoid any headaches.

Been waiting for 2years for turbo build, what happened?

Have a fully built and boosted 2017 Camaro that I did, plus a military deployment. Not made of money like most people on UA-cam. Plus this is my daily driver so I can’t have it down for long spans
