The R3 MOZA racing wheel is a fully XBOX licenced product, which by the way, does provide less ffb information to your hands compared to the R9. The R9 works with proper torque only on a pc, NOT with consoles, that's why the guy in the video had to turn up the ffb of the converter to the maximum, to get a somewhat stronger ffb readings on his hands. From what i was told, the R3 and the R9 provide same ffb torque when connected to the xbox! the R3 can only send 4.5 Nm of torque, aso the same is the R9! only in pc, the R9 will send stronger ffb. So, its useless to spend the extra money fro the R9 unless you will use it only for pc racing only..

@Wisllay Vitrio yeah but the reason most sim racers are on pc isn't because of steering wheel compatibility, it's a few reasons. You can't play something like iRacing on a console, you also can't set up a very high end sim rig for a console, there are direct drive console wheels these days which is awesome but you can't have triple screens, the only VR game is gran turismo, having a whole bunch of different usb peripherals would also be way harder on console or impossible depending on what you want
thanx for the Ras1ution 2 review. have been looking for a moza/xbox review. wondering if using the moza hub instead would make a difference with using digital dash shifter and handbrake?
FIXED: Moza R9 + CS wheel + SR-P pedals, can not make it work on PS5 with Brook Ras1ution 2. All are on latest firmware. Same setup works on Xbox Series X. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks! Edit: Issue is now resolved by Brook, they have provided BETA FW v1.2.3b that fixes buttons under rotary encoders. After that paddles were not registering in Playstation, fixed by re-calibration in MOZA Pit House. So Moza R9 + CS wheel + SR-P pedals is now functional on PS via Brook Ras1ution 2
@@GeekStreet Sure, will let you know once there will be something from Brook. They're celebrating Chinese New Year till 29th. So far it seems like presses for pushbuttons under 2 rotary encoders on CS wheel are not being recognized by the Ras1ution 2. These are responsible for 'Create' and 'Options' on PS. Need to press both simultaneously to simulate PS button and I believe it is required in order for PS5 to recognize it initially. On XSX I am also unable to get 'View', 'Menu' and 'Xbox' buttons, and they are mapped to same encoders. But XSX does not need these to recognize the wheel and also will allow original controller to be used at the same time. Just to be clear, these work flawlessly in pit house and in PC games.
@@GeekStreet Hello again! Happy to report that above mentioned issue was resolved by Brook team with provided BETA FW v1.2.3b for Ras1ution 2 That returned functionality for buttons under rotary encoders. When wheel started to work on PS I have found that paddles are not functional, that was fixed by calibrating them in Pit House software.
Only problem is it runs like garbage with the Ras1. It uses a Logitech G27/29 profile intended for gear driven wheels with 3Nm of TQ. This is why it suffers oscillation issues.
Attempting to use a Moza R9 + GS Wheel as well as Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals has been a pain. The Moza is picked up inconsistently, but the pedals are never recognised when placed in the second USB slot. Upgraded to the beta v1.3 and no dice. Have contacted Brook.
With Ras1ution you have to have same family's gear, for example Moza base AND Moza pedals. I asked Brook before buying one, because I have Moza base and Fanatec Pedals, and they advised me not to purchase the Ras1ution.
@@tomiroquai so if I were to get the base + wheel, shifter and pedals, all Moza, that would work and I could also connect a handbrake to the Accessory port?
buy the licenced product bro, the R3 MOZA. It is the same thing, it only provides somewhat less torque, so fkin what.. no other issues. I suggest you purchase the R3 bundle, EXCELLENT DD wheel fully licenced for xbox series S/X, xbox one X, xbox ONE! it works great with all xbox racing games. All the MOZA R3 peripherals like shifter, pedals, handbrake, add on wheels, work like a charm on my xbox series X. They are plug 'n play immediately. Why bother to get in troubleshooting issues with any kind of hub converters, i really dont now guys..
Is anyone having an issue with this ras1ution device on PS5 with a Moza R9 where when you rapidly turn the steering wheel hard in one direction then rapidly towards the opposite direction right away, the FFB will cut out and dissapear completely, and the only way to get FFB to return is to restart the PS5?
I have an R5 bundle and Ras2 on PS5 and Series X and it works great, I just recently saw that the Brook Ras website has been updated an added Moza Universal Hub support, Moza HB and Moza Shifter. Do you know if this allows for Moza Handbrake on console with R5?
Great to hear that, finally pulled the trigger on a proper sim rig. Tony Kanaan Pro rig all black from Micro Center with Trak Racer TR One bottom mount like the one in this video...shopping for a seat today and possibly Moza hub, HB and Shifter. Looking forward to your video on hub with Ras 2 and Moza R5. Thanks for all the info you provide on your channel.
Does this still works with latest ps5 update? They blocked some converters and control emulators i want to know if this still works or got blocked, cause im confused what dd wheel to get.
Thanks for the info, as I was not aware that these converters exist. But please, just say ACC next time instead of butchering the Italian word for Competition again. 😉
Does this still work? I’m looking at purchasing the Moza R5 for my PS5, but a little worried there may be an updated patch to stop this adapter from working
I Came back to watch again since i couldn't get a reply back from the Creators. Did they mention anything about possible updates or a V3 model that can take Universal USB Controllers like an H-Shifter and/or Handbrake? I would pay double the price for that capability. It might not work since these racing games still see the wheel as a wheel but if its just tricking the consoles with simple momentary switches and not analog switches, maybe it could work? I known of some similar adapters over many years that did some impressive things. Mainly those ones that added keyboard/mouse support and taking their inputs and converting the outputs which obviously makes the console think its just a regular controller plugged in. But on that though, it had all sorts of options for advanced options and own screen/interface with memory. So it you could assig any keystrokes to any button on the controller. For the mouse it had shit like sensitivity, smoothing, acceleration, etc) before converted it to the analog joystick data. One brand in particular was incredibly responsive and accurate, where it could feel damn near as close to native support when tweaked correctly. I got a kick out of watching guys just destroy entire lobbies in CoD, Rainbow Six: Six, Gears of War, etc) because its definitely a massive advantage and would be considered cheating regardless if soft targeting is on. But as a PC player I would feel like id need that to be competitive since I never use controllers for FPS titles. Anyways, its 2022!!! There has to be a way! I wont except no for an answer from Talented guys who've made adapters in the past and ones like this. With just a couple extra USB ports and code/scripting on that chip, they gotta be able to work it out. Im not an Engineer but from what Ive seen, I cant help but think is possible get at least a USB Sequential Shifter and Handbrake to be keybinded onto the same controller. Maybe a shifter or Handbrake would work if they're part of the wheelbases ecosystem itself like all the TMs and Fanatecs do on console and PC but as you know, a lot of us Sim Racin' Degenerates love to mix and match our equipment to for the best feel, budget, upgrade paths, etc). I rarely see PC setups that stick with a whole ecosystem. For the reasons I said and when you get into higher grade gear, those TM and Fanatec Shifters/Handbrakes cant compete with 3rd part ones and your mainly shelling out the money for "compatibility and the brand name". Sorry, Im rambling now. Thanks again for the video, I hope you got any ideas or might have heard anything. Oh wait, sorry. Another Question on this particular Adapter. Im really curious on just how accurate it can produce FFB because it can be tested easily if with those wheelbases that are identical but only work for either one console or the other. Like If you used the T150 made for PC/PlayStation, then compared it directly with the adapter plugged in the identical TMX Wheelbase that was for the Xbox. Would love to see that. As for the existing options on the product, I love the fact you can change the Degrees of Rotation and Gain on the FFB if a certain title has inherently weak FFB to being with. I think if they added some sort of Compressor/Limiter to the FFB output. It would be a great option to be able to crank up those granular textures and other small forces that hardly come through on cheaper wheels. You could also tune out Clipping with that and just create a better experience overall on how you'd prefer strength and dynamics of all the FFB forces to be since everyone's got the preference. Im sure creating one or grabbing an open source one for the Device as an update shouldn't be hard fror them. Also, since the FFB telemetry/data signal is basically a Wave Form if I'm not mistaken, a Compressor and Limiter would be perfect for added functionality/value. Enjoy that MOZA! Im pretty sure I'm going to snag an R9 up after spending weeks researching on forums, watching video, reviews, etc) over these newer 5 midrange 8-10nm DD wheels that have come out. Ive used an Accuforce 12nm (I think), Simagic M10, and SC2 Sport, which I turned most them down to around 7-8nm anyway. Mainly because that's about where real life GT and F1 cars sit in terms of forces dealt through the wheel. Youre not meant to feel like your parallels parking a FWD with no power steering on flat tires, lol. I know the extra Torque Is good to have headroom among 1 or 2 tiny other things but for me its not worth the costs. But yeah, I know Moza has had a rough track record in the past but it seems like most honest reviewers universally agree that Moza has stepped their shit up and these new DDs are edging out the competition for the build quality, its motor is noticeably smoother with little to none of that micro "notchyness" you feel that the other DDs have (even the big boys) when you slowly turn the wheel, The 9nm Peak is great more importantly how it can stay sustained much closer/loner to their advertised 9NM which the others cant do as well. Its similar to Audio Amps and Speakers when looking comparing (Wattage and RMS). Most people just see a high Peak Wattage value when the RMS value is the "real" performance yet the companies always keep the RMS in the Fine print, I wonder why...because they want to mislead you. Ive seen so many 1000watt amps that start to shit themselves when pushed to only 1/3 to a 1/2 of that. Rambling.....Anyways, All of their Wheels are Seem to be above average against the competition. They dont try to Gatekeep or make shit as difficult as they can to push people into only using their wheels unless you buy their overpriced "adapter" *cough* Fanatec *cough* to use . The Quick Release isn't some proprietary shit either, which was quite the consumer friendly thing to do on their part since that mechanism is more universally used which gives consumers options to get cheap ones or expensive ones. Its just a No Brainer to pick the MOZA R9 over the others, especially when seeing these adapters seem to work great, regardless if its seemingly a cheap no name novelty brand. Being felt like I didnt have choice in a DD was a huge hang up and since alot of my friends are casuals and on console, having that piece of mind was massive. Alright, Ill finally stop talking now, I got alot of coffee in me this morning :D If you didnt read this, I understand, brother. Its a lot of nonsense mixed with some points. But if you did, I appreciate it and thanks again. Maybe we can do some hotlaps in ACC or Do some Tandems having fun Drifting around in CarX Drift if you got it (if not BUY IT). Its a great drifting game that has come along way, and its like 7 bucks right now on PSN store with 100s of hours worth of fuckery. The sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when you string a good tandem makes that 7$ price a steal. Great Physics, Cars, etc.)

I've watched almost all of the videos on your channel and I noticed that you also have the Logitech G29, G Pro Wheel, and Fanatec DD. How would you compare the level of force feedback (FFB) and performance between the Moza R9 and the other brands when used with the PS5 on a scale of 1 to 10?
When you tested it on the Xbox what was the button support like? In FH5 I could never get the horn to map on my Fanatec CSL, and we all know the poor situation with fanatec/Xbox integration

@Geek Street: hello, how does this work on ps5 and f1 22? can u please answer? i would appreciate it if u can help me out. most buttons don’t react to input
I wonder if it tricks the console into outputting the telemetry/ffb data to the the same levels or degree the title would if an actual compatible wheel was being used. I also know that depending on the game, the title will change its output deepening on which wheel is being used. On top of that, all the non compatible wheels do similar things with how the is Data received and use their own unique methods of converting that data to the wheel itself. There's a lot of factors involved in getting a wheelbase to input data and output it properly. Overall, I think its just a really shitty method of Gatekeeping so companies to push consumers into their ecosystem of "officially supported hardware" or even pushing people to buy a 2nd wheelbase when its completely unnecessary. Obviously Profits are the culprit (of course) on both ends. Licensing by Microsoft and Sony on the console front and selling the same wheelbase or heir overpriced adapters/wheels that only work on either or for the Wheelbase companies. As consumers, im sure we all think there should just be a universal standard so that all sim products can be used across the board in most cases. Hell, I think it would actually be beneficial for every company overall. I know plenty of people who never bought GT7/Forza or any other console specific titles because they invested alot of money into a wheelbase and its not Console Specific or even compatible. The same applies Sim Hardware Companies, where people avoiding buying certain Wheelbase due to compatibility so they either dont buy, they compromise on a cheaper wheel thats supported when they would have spent more money on a higher tier wheelbases, etc). Again, Its mostly done for more Profit over the bullshit we are as excuses like "wanting to eliminate the hassle and frustration for the consumer and so on" like were children. I only bought GT7 (regrettably) because I happened to have held on to my old T500 after upgrading to a Simucube knowing that this entire issue was and seeming will always be the case. There's a lot of nuance and depth when discussing this topic so forgive me for not writing a novel going into every little aspect.

Thanks for the video. Any chance to test the setup in GT7 using different pedals? I have moza r9 with cs wheel and fanatec v3 pedals.
Will it work on Moza R12 as well?
Just bought an open box r9 at micro center for $300, what a steal!!!

thanx for the Ras1ution 2 review. have been looking for a moza/xbox review. wondering if using the moza hub instead would make a difference with using digital dash shifter and handbrake?
FIXED: Moza R9 + CS wheel + SR-P pedals, can not make it work on PS5 with Brook Ras1ution 2. All are on latest firmware.
Same setup works on Xbox Series X.
Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Edit:
Issue is now resolved by Brook, they have provided BETA FW v1.2.3b that fixes buttons under rotary encoders.
After that paddles were not registering in Playstation, fixed by re-calibration in MOZA Pit House.
So Moza R9 + CS wheel + SR-P pedals is now functional on PS via Brook Ras1ution 2
Contact Brook directly, they sent me a link to an updated firware, they'll have a newer one now.
@@GeekStreet Thanks! Did that just now. Fingers crossed.
@@_hepukt4e np, let me know how it goes as hopefully it will help others too.
Happy to report that above mentioned issue was resolved by Brook team with provided BETA FW v1.2.3b for Ras1ution 2
That returned functionality for buttons under rotary encoders.
When wheel started to work on PS I have found that paddles are not functional, that was fixed by calibrating them in Pit House software.
I have a moza 5 will this REVERT the WHEEL to a G29.......... ?not having the proper FFB ect?
Looks like the Moza wheel bases here had a lot of shortcomings with the adapter. It is what it is. Great test and review my friend. like 136
Only problem is it runs like garbage with the Ras1.
@@Lenduya no you can just plug the pedals in the accessory port, nothing else
How did you solve the xbox series x license problem.
buy the licenced product bro, the R3 MOZA.
Does r21 work with brook and fsr f1 wheel dashboard do they all work normal with converter on xbox series x
The res1ution 1 support for G923? I have the G923 for Playstation and need to play on xbox series
I'll be testing that out soon so stay tuned
Great to hear that, finally pulled the trigger on a proper sim rig. Tony Kanaan Pro rig all black from Micro Center with Trak Racer TR One bottom mount like the one in this video...shopping for a seat today and possibly Moza hub, HB and Shifter. Looking forward to your video on hub with Ras 2 and Moza R5. Thanks for all the info you provide on your channel.
Does this still works with latest ps5 update? They blocked some converters and control emulators i want to know if this still works or got blocked, cause im confused what dd wheel to get.
Think things like this can be used to give compatibility with arcade games oh PC? Example, forza, The Crew, NASCAR Heat 5?
Thanks for the info, as I was not aware that these converters exist. But please, just say ACC next time instead of butchering the Italian word for Competition again. 😉
Does this still work? I’m looking at purchasing the Moza R5 for my PS5, but a little worried there may be an updated patch to stop this adapter from working
Of course it works.
Does this also work for asset tax corsa competizione??
I love the channel! It has lots of helpful information for sim racers. I'm considering upgrading my rig with the Moza R9 and found this video.

Is your R9 still working with the Ras1lution 2? I have the same base and CS wheel and I cannot get it to work. The buttons and d-stick don't do anything on the ps5, so can't add it as a controller. I have it set to Ps5 and have updated the firmware to 1.2.0 on the Ras1ution 2. I have tried different usb ports on the PS5. Restarting every device. Thanks.
*UPDATE: If anyone else has this issue, I fixed it, here's how: Instead of plugging the Ras1lution 2 device into the PC to update the firmware. I downloaded the Ras1ution app from the app store on my phone, connected via Blutooth and rolled the Firmware back to version 1.1.0 Now it is working with the PS5 and GT7!
Any more feedback? How does it work compared to pc titles? Force feedback etc, I'm considering buying one for myself.

@Geek Street: hello, how does this work on ps5 and f1 22? can u please answer? i would appreciate it if u can help me out. most buttons don’t react to input
The 'Ras1ution 2' sucks. It doesn't output enough electricity through it for it to create the needed signal for the feedback to work.
