You got me, I thought you’d gone gourmet on us! Loooooong time follower here (never comment usually tho), good to see the return of cosy comfort Coco Curry 🩷 love seeing the pink hair again as well!!! Love to you queen 👑
Can't wait for your own episode of "Intervention" 😂😂 I can just see the title cards like "Martina spends over $2000 a month to fuel her Coco Curry habit" A group of King Kogi patreons in a semi-circle reading letters to you, crying, asking you to accept the help being offered
I dont think i realised just how much of what i loved about the previous channel was just Martina's personality and creativity. ❤❤❤ love you Martina, keep up the awesome work!
I live in Japan and there is no Coco Curry near me. The nearest Coco Curry is a 5 hour drive away. Sukiya, Mos Burger, McDonald's, and Yamaoka are a 10 minute drive away, but no Coco Curry. I may be living in the safest place in Japan.
I never comment but I’m a long term viewer, Martina you never fail to turn my day right around, you are sincerely the coolest. Mad props. Thank you for the curry content.
we went to japan for 3 weeks in April and Coco Curry was on our itinerary because i loved your original video. And I gotta say the curry did not dissapoint. I added cheese, garlic, and got it spicy. So amazing. I miss Japan.
Martina, thank you for risking it all to show and taste some coco curry lmfaorotfl 😂🤣😆. I couldn’t stop laughing! Great video, I knew there was a dark side to Japan, somehow.
On my last trip to Japan we went to Coco Curry 5 times in 2 weeks. 😅 No regrets! There are 2 branches in London now but it's 3 times the price of Japan. 😭
Yes!! A coco 2.0 video!! Ty king Kogi!! For giving the people what they need!! It’s been two weeks since I got home from Japan and I am saddened most by the fact that I can’t have coco!
There are many different kinds of Japanese curry, so he just hasn't come across a good one yet. There is definitely a type of Japanese curry that everyone likes. From spicy to sweet, from soupy to thick, there is a huge variety of ingredients. Well, Okinawa has a unique food culture, so maybe that's why there isn't much curry.
You are correct! - Coco Curry is addictive. The first time I had Coco Curry was in 2017 at a crowded Shibuya location. There is something about their sauce(s) that is unlike any other. I dunno what they put in it - but there is an element of umami that is super good, and keeps me coming back for more. Add to this their deep fried cutlet offerings, and its a combination that is hard to beat.
That’s great to hear! I try my hardest to make an enjoyable ad. I really dislike watching a UA-cam video and then there is a jarring ad that just comes out of nowhere, and they look like they’re reading off paper unenthusiastically.
😭💕 omigosh i just went on a kick of watching all your old videos and wondering when you would upload again on this channel. I’m so excited to watch this, especially as a fellow coco curry enthusiast 😭 i miss it so much
Don't fall for it, guys. It's too delicious! Coco Curry is always on the menu when we visit Japan. Though we are super lucky as there are two restaurants in London now! So whenever we head into the city, we try and pay it a visit 🤤
I feel 100% seen. I tried Coco in Korea 5 years ago and haven’t shut up about it since. It’s on my list when I go to Japan this year and I CANNOT WAIT. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Is there anything you’d like to see in specific? I’m putting together some digital guides and I can be more specific like: all cafés, Ramen, shops, craft beer… But I can also group together by areas in Japan (such as a whole city or borough), and I’m not sure which people would prefer?
@KingKogi Craft beer and cafes would be wonderful! Lesser known areas of tokyo/other cities would also be amazing. Setagaya-Daita was such a highlight of our last trip.
100% agree with absolutely everything you mentioned and I too have been to the Coco Curry culinary dark side several times (when visiting Japan), not only because its damn fine and highly addictive, but its soooooo reasonably priced too and the service is fast!!
You guys introduced me to Japanese Curry and I have been on the hunt to find the curry cubes, found them after few years, and now I have a real problem cuz I think I have an addiction 😂❤
Omg yay Martina I went to the one here in London* for the first time ever recently and I thought of you. The menu is a lot simpler here but I really enjoyed the experience, apart from the 'service charge' slapped on the bill at the end, which is becoming more common over here in the UK. I had a simple meal combo consisting of the tonkatsu, curry & rice, a side salad and a drink. It was very good, and my highlights were the delicious sesame miso dressing on the salad and the delicious pickles. You're the CoCo Curry Ambassador! And yes thank you for saying it's a Schnitzel! It was about time someone officially said that haha! Love your t-shirt btw. *there are actually two in London now!
Thank you so much for yet another fun and informational video!! I've been having a rough time but whenever I tune into your videos I'm reminded that life goes on and there are so many things to enjoy 🫶 Can't wait to go back to Japan and run right to the closest Coco Curry 😋🤤🍛
What an action packed video! News reporter Martina, the highly addictive curry of coco, sexy food shoots with deep voice commentary, plus hacker Martina! This video came too late to stop my addiction, but I still can blame Martina for introducing it to me through the previous video lol
yes, I tried it in 2018 per your older recommendation! I got it with tonkatsu, egg, garlic and cheese I think. T'was delicious! It's great to know that there are so many of this chain restaurant around all Japan , you can crave it anywhere and have it so fast! lol
You're one of the few channels where I actually watch the sponsored content. Love the way you use a character related to the sponsor. It's funny and very creative ❤ Also so glad you kept the sexy food porn voice. My favourite part of your food videos ❤
That’s so great to hear! I try to think about how unimpressed or bored I am when I watch a dull ad, so I try my best to make it funny, interesting and relatable. And I personally love Nord VPN and had it before they reached out to me! And of course, I can’t resist a sexy food porn voice
It’s great to know how customisable each plate is and that they have vegetarian options. Thank you also for all the details regarding specific flavours. Great review! I hope you do get a sponsorship or some coupons or merch 🥥🍛
You have me drooling! Back in the day when you started sharing your love for coco curry I had to start buying Golden Curry so that I could experience something similar. I’ve been hooked since. 💖🐷
i have my first trip to japan with my cousins during the end of july (scared for the summer weather lol) and been binge watching your videos martina!! they've been so helpful and i'm excited, hoping to visit places you've recommended
Love CoCo Ichiban...first time tho I had a level 5 (mid spicy I thought). I spent 30 min in agony. Sweat just pouring down from everywhere. Level 2-3 is what I do these days.
Welp, if there's a petition for Canadian coco curry I'll sign it. I'm coming to Tokyo in October and I expect to have a full blown addiction by the time I come home.
They opened a Coco here in TX! I've been a long time watcher for more than a decade and have never been able to travel, so when I saw it I immediately asked my husband to take me for my birthday this year (it's like an hour away for us)! Can't wait to try and hope the US hasn't taken the Japan charm away from such a sacred place 💜
Oh myy I miss martina!! Upload more often please, with more food adventure, japanese chain restaurants review, or just b gyu gourmet!! Love love love ❤❤❤
I can not believe just how much she smiled..it was something missing.she tried.we understand and I think we got an extra one helping with those smiles..Hi! Dan.. glad to see both have become smiley mcgees. Love you guess.still no snow in alaska yet
I've probably watched the Coco Curry episode at EYK over 50 times, so seeing it featured anew here brought such nostalgia. The first meal we had during our first ever holiday in Japan was at Coco Curry. It was also our last meal before flying home. I'm going back to Japan next month and can't wait to get me some again!
You know whats more dangerous? Following king kogis recommendations. Then you are in a world of addictions!!! I got hooked on coco curry ever since I first visited japan in 2015 and since I have visited its london, los angeles and seoul locations. All for that curry fix 😅😅😅and I go crazy whenever I see a place that sells cremia ice cream. 😂😂😂
I saw the sponsor tag in the corner and thought for a minute that CoCo finally sponsored you. 😅 Hopefully one day! It really is good spice, good curry. Also great to see they have touchscreen ordering at the table. Those help take away a lot of order anxiety.
I tried CoCo Curry the last time I was in Japan and OMG I had no idea that it was going to be that delicious. I'm glad to see that there's an English option now because navigating a large menu only in Japanese was tough. This will be my #1 stop next time I'm in Japan.
Pork tonkatsu and beef base with beef chunks, full cheese, softboiled egg, eggplant 6-7 spice and their special sauce and the pickled radishes. I'm going back in October because I miss it so much. Also I tried CCC because of the og EYK video
I had a level 10 back when I was visiting Tokyo, the guy next to me started up a conversation with me after hearing me order a level 8. He told me I was "top grade" for eating a level 8. Level 8 was no joke haha, but I really loved. Loved being able add the toppings, really miss it and will definitely have it again when I go back next year.
I remember the OG Cococurry video so when my husband and I moved to Korea 2 months ago and I saw one I flipped out!! He was so confused so I had to educate him. He now loves that place and we are heading to Japan tomorrow so we are excited to try it there cause the menu seems so different than the one by us in Korea.❤

The mock news report opening gave me a good cackle. So good!
What about the production value?

I *_love_* your food episodes. 😋
Me too 🤤 haha
You're a MAD woman for eating that much spice! I have bad acid reflux and when I see spice, I see pain!
I do too but I keep eating it and regretting it later 😂 Every time I eat something super spicy I'm like, never again. Then I eat it again.
THE BLOODHOUND GANG REFERENCE 🤣🤣🤣
YES SOMEONE GOT THAT JOKE!!
I started singing it without realizing that was the reference lol
when i first moved to Scotland i visited London for a week and had coco curry twice while i was there. I wish they'd open one near me!
