Always check the specific airline. For example, British Airways is only 16x12x6.

I don’t understand why there isn’t a standard size bag for traveling. Seems like each airline has their own measurements. It’s frustrating.

I totally agree and it drives me crazy. I fly with different airlines all the time, and it's so hard to keep up with all the rules that are so different. Hopefully that changes eventually. Thanks for watching!

I LOVE the slate color that Nordstrom had but the convertible mini weekenders only come in the boring neutral colors

On the website Béis has crazy cool colours, but sadly not for the convertible yet. I’m considering the crazy orange one (“creamsicle”) in MINI, but wished they had the convertible ones in all colours...
Because of back issues I think it’s gonna be a Mini Weekender for me. If I overstuff the regular one it will be too heavy I think.

One of my flights is United BE ( I didn’t book it) . I was told some of the agents are real sticklers on the size for personal items 😬

How did it go? Another viewer stated in the comments that she didn't have any issues with this bag on United. I ended up on another United flight (with a different bag), but they didn't seem to give anyone a hard time, as long as they didn't have a bag with wheels. Thanks for watching!

If I wasn’t taking a rollerbag to set this bag on, then I’d have to use a backpack as my only personal item/carryon. I can no longer carry a heavy shoulder or crossbody bag without hurting my already-injured back.

I have the mini convertible weekender bag. I’m taking a weekend trip in a few weeks for wedding in NY. I’m trying to figure out if I should take this as my personal item as I heard Frontier is very strict.
I am just scared it will be too heavy to carry on my shoulder throughout the airport.
Did you end up using this as your personal item on the United flight?

This looks like the weekender (bottom is not detachable), not the mini weekender (bottom is detachable)

Hi! This one is the mini weekender. You may be thinking of the convertible mini weekender, which has a detachable bottom. There's about a $20 difference between the convertible and the non-convertible - I have the cheaper one. I'm not sure whether the slate came in the convertible style. Thanks for watching!
