- I've packed everything I need for a long weekend trip in one underseat bag. At the time of publishing (July 2023), United's Basic Economy class allows passengers to travel with a free personal item only with dimensions of 17" x 10" x 9". A separate carry-on suitcase or bag is not allowed without an additional charge. Packing in a personal item takes a little extra time and planning but it can definitely be done! (want to get the olive green one) hope u don't mind i make a suggestion: it would be nicer if your shot was a little wider, the bag takes up almost the entire frame. in some moments, parts of the bag and your hands go off camera. i'd suggest a medium shot for these type of videos (and some details shots as well). best wishes!

Yes. I have the deep blue medium Landon bag and took it on honeymoon. On American Airlines airplane it fit perfectly underneath seat in front of me :) taking it on my flight tomorrow as my carryon

United is crazy with their 17 inch length limit. You can find bags shorter or longer, but 17inches?? Always looking for great personal item only packing videos. Subbed! Keep em comin'.
