Did you try undervolting the cpu or limiting its power in vantage? Otherwise cpu goes to 90c temperatures
Through lenovo vantage you can only set offset to -0.1v ..I used intel extreme utility and throttlestop..I got good performance boost and less temps

In present time 16gb ram is enough for majority of gaming …ram doesn’t increase fps unless you are running on low ram …but if you do 4K or multilayer video editing adding more ram will benefit it

Because your cpu might be supporting only max 5200mhz other reason could be that your other installed ram can run on max 5200 mhz .. in that case your 5600 mhz ram will reduce its speed to 5200 MHz

@@PiyushMishra4607 you’ve definitely gotten lucky. This is precisely how I fried my motherboard in my first ever PC build. Ended up having to wait an extra 2 weeks to ship a new mobo. Not that power being plugged in was my only mistake, but it made my process 10x as prone to actually frying than if I’d just unplugged the power.
It’s beyond easy to be carrying static electricity, and when you have power plugged in while you’re actively touching components that potentially have no plastic covering and are direct connected to the mobo, you’re asking for it basically.
Whether you do it or not, you should ALWAYS advise it. With a laptop, you could even have Windows decide on its own “I’m just gonna turn myself on here & finish this update rq” while you’re actively ripping components out. 😂

1. Never use a screwdriver for disassembling. You can use plastic putty knife along with guitar tool.
2. You are right the thermal pad for the 2nd RAM is already there but you need to remove sticker so that it can stick on your 2nd stick. Right now your 2nd RAM is suffocating...
If you remove sticker on the ram warranty , ram warranty will be void ..it’s mentioned on the ram

But in order to avoid electrostatic discharge from damaging the RAM, it's a good idea to always handle the RAM only by its edges and avoid touching the copper tracks and chip parts as much as possible.
Secondly, the very first thing that should be done after opening the laptop is to unplug the battery prior to doing anything else. This is to avoid shortcircuiting the main board which could result in a bricked laptop or a fire and explosion at it's worst.

You are being stupid. Disconnecting battery is just for being 'safe'. As long as it is turned off it is fine. Maybe you should learn about tech before trying to teach someone who knows what he is doing

All Lenovo Loq which comes with HX processor (customised and prebuilt) has battery drop issue in performance and custom power mode … and few people have also reported motherboard dying issue ..motherboard issue is not happening with all people but battery drop issue is with everyone

Yes you can upgrade is to 32gb .. make sure to check existing ram is 2x8gb or 1x16gb , check ram speed too.
Any brand ssd will be compatible..you can purchase 2280 size nvme m.2 Ssd of any brand

ADP hai mere pass ..laptop use krne ke tarike pr depend krta hai .. mene is laptop ko 18 he use lia hai ..with heavy task like 4K video rendering and gaming ..didn’t see issue …only issue with laptop is battery drop in custom mode for which I’m fighting with lenovo to fix it

Bro Lenevo uses SK Hynix RAM. Can we combine it with Crucial RAM. I heard that we shouldnt combine RAMs of different brands. Also one more doubt like does upgrading RAM to 32 makes sense with rtx 4060 and i7 14 gen as this is budget laptop??
Combining different ram brand is not an issue as long as ram specs match such as ram type and gen , CAs latency etc … 16gb ram is enough for majority of things but if you do lots of things at the same time …large size video editing, browsing..you can opt for 24gb/32gb

@@cghc9935 only one issue with all Loq laptops with intel HX cpu, laptop battery drop when you play games on custom mode even if charger is connected…lenovo trying to fix it but they are not successful it’s been 6 months …apart from that all good..you can upgrade using same crucial ram ..link in the description

Is it ddr5 ? Make sure your 8 gb sticks are single rank ..only then you can put 16 gb ..bcuz 16gb rams are single rank mostly …one more thing .. for present situation 16gb ram is enough for gaming and day to day task ..I upgraded to 32 gb bcuz I do 4k video editing and rendering

There’s no plastic covering on thermal pad ..thermal pad has glossy surface

Screen wobble is fine ..post sales service of lenovo is also good, but all the models which comes with intel HX processors have battery drop issue .. Battery will drop during gaming sessions even if charger is connected in custom power mode

@@LordBuriburi brother listen lenovo m jo overclock hota hai wo automatic hota hai ..system khud krta hai you just enable the overclock setting on.. secondly custom mode m agr cpu and gpu overclock nhi krte fir bhi battery drop hota hai … mene ye sb test ki hai … that’s why I’m sure it’s a design issue ….mene aur bhi laptop use kia hai with extreme overclocking but usme kbhi battery drop nhi hua … aur overclocking hote hi agr temp 100 se upr cross hota hai to laptop automatic restart ho jata hai with default settings to protect the laptop don’t worry
