- Here is a quick walk through guide on how to update your terminator X 3.5" Hand held screen card contents. This can be used if you a firmware update has failed via the software and can be recovered with a hand held screen.

I have a 94 for lightning with a built 351w and 4r70w trans, I have a terminator max x and for some reason during upgrades have lost all the trans options I have downloaded and updated the handheld and have been on the phone with Holly techs the last time with a 1 hour wait and they walked me through the updates. I still have no trans control just a error and it doesn't even give me a option to choose a transmission. Originally it had these options and I had to switch to a 4r70w because it didn't support the E4od that was in the truck (Long Story) not sure what is wrong. This all started when I Had to update the firm Were to work with a laptop so I could do some tuning.
maybe try going back to your older firmware or starting with a different tune?
I got fussy mines wasnt working and went back and deleted the sd card and formatted it. Then dragged the files over and im getting the same thing saying searching for ecu. Did i brick it?
When you put the card in the hand held for the first time did it do an update on its own automatically?
@@Rolo-Rides i got it fixed. When i updated to the v3 it was having problems so i went with the v2 and everything worked.
