During our stay on Ambergris Caye we decided to go on a day trip to the tiny island of Caye Caulker, a little bit further south. We heard about it from other travellers and it was highly recommended so wee took the water taxi from San Pedro to check it out.
We stumbled upon a true Caribbean island paradise, where time doesn't seem to be in equation to anyone. The sandy streets, palms, mangroves and of course the authentic locals made a deep impression on me, which i guess will last for quite some time. Have to back here sometime....

Hi Grace, this was shot way before the COVID-19 pandemic started, so I can't comment on the current situation. You should check with the local authorities for more info.
@@zoltanaroundtheglobe We usually go there every other year. I checked on line about covid requirements, but I was wondering if water taxi still crowded passengers on boats like they used to. I don't care either way, bc I just want 2 get back there.

Hi Kevin, thanks 👍 Yeah, you can use US dollars. The Belize dollar's value is pegged to the US Dollar. 1USD = 2 BZD

There is no decent beach in that place.
