Sarah Miles Tribute

- A tribute to the lovely, moving and always full of energy british actress Sarah Miles. I first came by her watching The Servant and in this treasure of glorious performances was amazed by her spontaneity and her playful attitude. She was nominated for a Bafta for this film and a few years later for the Academy Award for David Lean's epic drama : Ryan's Daughter. Sarah Miles also appeared in Antonioni's Blow-Up and more recently as the distressed yet good-natured mother in "Hope and Glory", in which also stars my favorite ever Ian Bannen. The song comes from the famous russian miniseries "Good-Bye Mary Poppins". It is sung beautifully by Tatiana Voronina, who dubs Natacha Andrejvo in the film. Enjoy !

I happen to be a Russian native speaker , so I `d watched it many times in my childhood :)
Indeed, she was ! A luminous woman.
Happy Birthday
It's really a lovely film, I wish I could have discovered it as a child :)
A rare actress. Innocence, charm, sex and guts. All in the face of Sarah Miles.
Quel beau yeux magnifique éclatante beautée et qu'elle Actrice !!! Elle était digne de la grande Olivia de Haviland ou Nathalie Wood !!!! Elle illuminée les salles de cinéma !!!!!!
has anyone one else seen sarah's eyes change into lizard eyes in 'the servant' i nearly fell off my chair!
Well, I heard it on the musical film Goodbye Mary Poppins and loved it very much :) I thought the mood would fit the tribute. I like using songs from different languages.
God, she was beautiful
The most erotic movie scenes I have ever seen were in "The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea." I can't believe this film has received so little recognition. I think it was Ms. Miles' best performance.
🎈❤
Can I ask , good sir , why youˇd chosen russian song ? ))
In that case how did you bump into this musical ? :)
Inexperienced men fell for her instantly... and I understand why.
Quite by chance in fact ! :D I was looking for episodes of the series The Good Wife (which I was watching at the time) on a website and they suggested me "Goodbye Mary Poppins". I had never heard about it before and I decided to give it a try. I was really enchanted ! The actors, songs, story...everything was just wonderful and I kept a warm memory of my watching. Are you also a fan of the musical ? :)
