Good video! Over the years I have found that Saddleman bags offer more bang for your buck than the Harley bags. They come with tie down straps, no need for bungees or zip ties. Many great features including a real slick way to strap the day bag on top of the main bag. Check 'em out! Costs less too! Peace!

I like to travel and like you, I use to pack & stack my luggage like you. Then I decided to buy a 2019 HD Tri-Glide Ultra, and now I have all the needed storage, and then sum! I am sold on the Trike!

I own the bag at 4:53. It is the best all around bag I have owned for the motorcycle. I bought it years ago with my Fatbob and it holds a good amount, from your gym bag, to 3 days of vacation clothes and travel kit, to take out for 2 it is just really good.

Love the RK Special, one thing about those bags is the reflective trim & piping stitched all throughout, it would have showed up real good on camera if you would have shined a flashlight at it with the garage lights out, it’s a great night time safety feature, Harley thinks of everything, high quality products, thanks for the video from fellow biker in New Orleans.

I like your bike, I have always loved the Road King and I think they did a great job on the RK Special. Just wondering if your HD luggage came with the tie down straps? I have the same luggage and mine came with straps. I always put the larger bag on my seat and sit the smaller bag on the luggage rack. Good job on the video and I am sure if you keep putting them out there you sub base will grow.

That was an informative video Mate, there are things about the luggage I was not aware off, like the rain coats, and many litres to fill, so it seems the pricing is worth it :)

, just cover the bags with the mesh safes and lock onto bike. Have you used or seen them, done States 3 times now and never lost anything .Enjoying the videos mate. When I tour I have found that those wire mesh safes are great for security of bags etc on bike. In process of buying new bike, I was going for Road Glide or Indian Defender but RK Special definitely one the list. I currently ride a 2011 RKing. Those bars look like they are about 3 or 4 inches to tall for effective cornering and slow speed maneuvering, how do you find them.

Hey Colin, thanks for the tips appreciated mate! The new bars are 16” in ape hangers and I would never have pictured myself getting those on one of my bike, but I absolutely love them, riding posture much better, much more comfortable for longer rides and better manoeuvrability. Good luck with the new bike let me know what you end up getting. Hope all ok there in isolation we’re expecting it too any time. Stay safe buddy 👍💥💥

I use good old ockey straps instead of cable ties.
2 usually does mine.. easier on/off.
