Thank you so much! I'm so glad. Personally I learn well by listening to a video first before attempting so it makes it a bit easier to understand when I do attempt it. :-)
I love this idea and am wondering if anyone else has already asked this Question regarding the Yardage Calculator (how much yarn do I need to buy?): How can I make a gauge swatch when I haven't bought the yarn yet. I use natural fibers and hand dyed yarns and often buy online. For many of these yarns are OOK and I've found that even if the dyer does continue to produce that color, a different batch can be a lot different. Is there some way to figure this out? Thanks, Linda PS I've been thinking about this and I'm sure the answer is Nope 🙃So I guess the thing I need to do when it is possible, is to have a skein of the yarns I love just for swatch purposes. They won't be the colorways that I'm going to use but will give me a good idea of how that yarn will knit up. And I can use it for many swatches for many projects. Thanks for being a place where I can think out loud so to speak.
Your videos are great i have question please i need your help i am making a knitted leggings and as i wS readind the pattern i got stuck before i even started it read 1st row k 18 , 2nd row and alt rows -purl to end and it shows 3rd row 5th and 7th row but 4th and 6th rows are not writing please help your videos are so clear to understand love watching thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge
Hi! What if you don't have the yarn label? Should I just knit a swatch to figure out how many stitches per inch and then multiply by how many inches I need for my final project? I want to make a beanie. Thank you!
sewnew toknit It’s a mobile issue at the moment it seems on the calculators but please have patience with us to fix that issue. In the meantime if you could use a desktop to access the calculators it would get you what you need right now. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I'm so sorry about the issues. We started getting more compatibility issue on our site. We just did a major website update this morning and I *think* it is finally fixed. Let me know if it's still not working for you.
I have tried in vain to get the calculator from your link and its giving me an error 500! I there a better way to get to this page or can you fix your link. Thank you.

Thank you so much. Ive been waiting on something like this for years. This will help me understand guage and customize fitting alot better. I just finished a bralet for my niece its small got lucky and it fits. But my mother just asked for 1 too 😓. If you dont mind I wanted to know is it possible to do fiiting with a crochet ch. Around bust and do a provisional cast on and start a knitting project that way? ❤❤❤❤❤
Winner of a video, been searching for "how is crochet different from knitting?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Veyillian Noncarlett Eradicator - (search on google )? Ive heard some super things about it and my neighbour got cool success with it.
This helps a LOT! A lady just asked me to knit her size 11 socks, and I had no idea how to figure it out.
You and You Tube are great friends! Thanks!

Hi
The icon you have shows saved to book mark, but it doesn't on my mobile. Is there anything you can do about it.
ThankYou. This really helps me.
Merdina Vernon wonderful!! You’re welcome. So glad it helps ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks I really felt this was great help. I do wonder, will this calculator work for crochet as well?
Josie Moore yay!! My pleasure. ❤️❤️
Yes, the yardage one should work for crochet.
Is a peg the same as a stitch.
So would this work in projects that you would want to change the weight of the yarn for.
E.g. the project ask for 5 weight but you want to use 4
Hannah Morgan yes 😁
Thank you so much

This video should help me. I have a pattern for knitting clothes for a 5" doll but I want to use a 8" or 10" doll
Thanks for a great video.
where can I buy this knitting calculator?
The calculator calculates the number of stitches needs but not the number of pegs I need to wrap to produce the width I need.
Do you have a loom pattern for a man's sweater?
How many stitches will I need for a hat which is 26 inches
What's a Swatch?
Nobody is saying that how many stiches to cast in 1". That's most important.
