    I was hoping that you could help me out. I bought an SPD-SX, and I have 3 triggers associated with it. I have the RT-30HR going into Trig 1/2. (This trigger works perfectly)The BT-1 and the RT-30K are both going into Trig 3/4 with a splitter. I believe that I might have the wrong splitter because I need to go to setup and program my BT-1 as a KT-10 and my RT-30K as an RT-30K for it to work. (The splitter that I have is a Roland Male 1/4” stereo going to 2x Female 1/4” mono) It works, but I need to set the threshold to 20 on both the RT-30K and the BT-1 in order for there to be no mistriggering which I don’t want to do. What kind of splitter do you have, and have you ever experienced this issue? Should I be buying the Roland PCS-31L instead of the splitter that I currently have? Will the PCS-31L fix this issue?

    • @TheHybridDrummer
      @TheHybridDrummer  2 роки тому +1

      Hi! Your method should work in theory. When splitting a trigger input I always used a cable like the Roland PCS-31L, no female plugs included.

      @@TheHybridDrummer hey, I just had one more quick question that’s driving me crazy. I am using the Sub Out feature for my snare and kick triggers so that the sound guy can mix those separately to the spd-sx pad sounds (which is going main out with my bt-1). I was wondering if it’s possible to add FX-1, and FX-2 to the Sub Out, or is that something that can only be used with the Main Out?

    Hi, i am a new in hybrid drumming, how do you check the volume Level in a live situation between acoustic und electronic sounds ?
    Something like the vers of a song is acoustic drumsound and the chorus is electronic ??

    • @TheHybridDrummer
      @TheHybridDrummer  5 років тому

      01Issues hi, and welcome to the world of hybrid drumming! :)
      That is basically the job of the sound engineer to have the right balance between the acoustics and the electronics. You might want to tell him how you’d like the balance (for example 60% trigger, 40%microphone sound on the bass drum), but he or she will handle it

    • @01Issues
      @01Issues 5 років тому

      @@TheHybridDrummer ok, thank you for the answer. So the only way that i have the Controll is the volume knob on my octapad, or whatever. To have 100 % acoustic sound or 100% electronic sound ?

    • @TheHybridDrummer
      @TheHybridDrummer  5 років тому

      @@TheHybridDrummer Indeed its a very cool module. Thats why I am ordering one soon. And yes saw your other video and its nicely explained. Just a small query, does the BT-1 and KT-10 or even an RT-30H trigger require a stereo input or can I use a split-Y cable and get two of them connected to the same input of the tm6. Was wondering despite them being a single zone trigger, perhaps they use a stereo cable helping to avoid false triggering. Thank you to help. ;)
