I would have done it same way loaded out day before if I knew I was going to be on my own, not too bad that 1:00 make sure you get a good price because it’s still a full day you worked through your dinner and 40 mins day before so it’s basically 3:00 to get that block done if you was to have an hour snap and say few mins rest here or there. Good graft site work just bores the life out of me
spot on mate, yeah it gets quite repetitive on the sites.. one of the reasons i thought i would film the odd job just to mix it up abit to keep it interesting 😄 thanks for watching
On a site job like that you definitely need the forklift driver on your side. They can be the difference between humping a bit of gear or a lot of gear. Just loading your fittings and short gear on and off the loading bays can save you a massive amount of time
@@Drewski28622 ive always fancied the idea of doing some agency work in London for a couple/few month (im from up north). i was close to trying to work on battersea powerstation a few years ago but something came up. maybe another time when the time is right
@@OnThePipes yeah bit of a move that mate, our yard is an hour and half away from central so not too bad of a drive when we leave early enough, but some of the work we’ve done is mad I’ve never seen anything like it
Respect not easy on your own but got to say shocking some of that work like! Sleeves in Same bay, no facades, singles on the corners, no tube in the guts in the narrow run and the loading bay take it there not actually allowed to load any material on there 😂 shocking that now a days!
fair comment mate, singles on the corners - every lift is handrail height so becomes the new ledger for the boards to sit on when lifted. loading bay i agree not much in it, that was the spec they had for the site, im not complaining 😄the other points well spotted mate, the guts in the narrow gable - a month or two after they started to want the bracing in which i started putting in 👍 thanks for watching mate
@ yea totally get that been on traditional sites myself I use to run the handrail in level like that but then just put a double on for the sake of half inch don’t see it with the brickguards, crazy spec that like! I get it less is best but now a days anything too happen there looking to blame you straight away and that loading bay your f***ed mate I didn’t wanna be that guy honestly! But ild definitely chuck some more kit in it! P.s didn’t know if you know but your check fittings should be facing the other way? So they have 2 points on contact if that makes sense Keep up the vids though prop start earning more than what the bosses are paying now a days 💪
@@kylelangdon2787 cheers mate, haha earning more than the bosses 😄 i wish. just a hobby this chanel at the moment just doing it for a laugh.. see where it takes me 🤣cheers mate
i prefer setting it out without laps but sometimes can only do what you can with the gear you have on site at the time with the speed of the site. i think i needed to keep some shorter boards for table lifts at the time if i remember. thanks for watching 👍
i know what you mean, where im working is only site work. it is very repetitive so quite hard to film new and interesting stuff. if there is anything different in the future i will definitely film it. thanks for watching 👍
4 boards work out nicely for ya. It's the small thing that make us happy 😂😂
👍

Absolutely mate! most of them just drive past you half the time and ignore you 😄 thanks for watching
Good pipework.
cheers
Crazy that loading bay. Nothing at all in it. No Aberdeens double ledgers and a row of standards missing from what we have to do.
yeah i know mate spot on aint it 😄
You not got a level or just can't be assed using it?
Bung the forklift/Loader driver a few quid and they won't keep driving past it's worth the money
PIPE LIFE!
pipes 4 lyf 😄
House bashing 🥱🥱🥱🥱
i know mate! same shit different day 😄 thanks for watching

That's every day for scaffolders and plasterers...5 hours on site if you're lucky
haha damn right you know the score mate! 😄 thanks for watching

Brickwork looks a bit rough, mind you it would be with him banging the puddies up against it.
No way can you be lapping boards like that on a new build site surely ?! 🤮🤮

How come all the other lads houses look finished and with roof's on?
