Stumbled across you bunch of lads got the boys, I’m from south east London been grafting in and out for like 6/7 years now only 25 and when you said about the bunch lads having problems in there life’s and works helped them change and turn their life’s around it really works bruv honestly, work helped me out in ways I couldn’t imagine and having a little workforce with a bunch of lads who get on and are on the same page is so good mentally for you people don’t realise, if the lads minds are straight and happy the work will be happy if you get me 👊🏼 nice to see a someone your age proper putting in the work to change your life take my hat off to you it’s not easy work all the bollocks behind the scenes people don’t see it’s a grind don’t stop bruvva

watched all episodes now 🤣, u should do a video joe on explaining Part 1 Scaffolder, Part 2 & advanced and if you have part 1 doing so far and then a part 2 or how ever it works
First watch, I’ll go back and catch the first episodes, very insightful and honest of you to talk about finances, hardships and no nonsense approach - Sky’s the limit and You’ll go far lad that’s for sure. get busy living or get busy dying! Mon the scaffs 🏴
Just come across your channel watched all 3 videos now. You have a good bunch of lads working for you which makes it easier for you they just hard come by. Keep up the good work and videos. Just started my own business and it’s going really well hard work does pay off….
I see that some of the beams are sitting midspan on the bay,and also spurs are midspan to support them, shouldn't they be close to the standards? Did you wrap the joints on standards from last working lift? Watching all your vids joe 👍💪
Watching from the U.S. It would be cool to see definitions of all the scaffolding terminology on screen as your showing us what's going on at different project sites.
It's the only way the wasters will learn to turn in - down the road try again with the next firm. Also because their a waster (not turning in consistently without giving a heads up) they will lose days waiting for the next start with a firm. Fair play to you for mentioning the numbers involved this can sometimes not be mentioned. You look like (in the episodes at least) you are handling the pressure well. You usually see the smaller firms like yours compared to the giants with the pressed doubles and swivels vs the forged ones with a higher KN rating. Whats the difference in cost say per 1000 doubles for example? Thumbs up.
Another interesting episode Are there sufficient scaffs around to keep getting rid of the less reliable blokes I’m Salisbury, and decent scaffs are in v short supply here… ??
In London particularly there are lots of supply of scaffolders and labourers etc it's just do they fit in with the company and the gang of other scaffolders that the will probably be working with day in day out. Between recommendations from the scaffs a company like this could probably let go of 2 labourers on a Friday they aren't happy with and have them replaced with 2 more on Monday morning that are night and day for the better.
