Zohaib Jan Icarus gives you more in air accuracy which can save you in some situations where you’re airborne and it opens up some new ways to approach an enemy, all targeting adjuster does is gives u 5 more aim assist which is barely noticeable
@@PabloGonzalez-dm3xm you don't even need beloved lol. There are other snipers just as useful. A snapshot kill clip tataras gaze is just as good if not better especially paired with a reloading gunslinger for one shots

I don’t use snipers, but this really helps with countering snipers. I am a avid Mida Multi/Mini tool user, and this video really helped with aggressive play. It’s also good to know what other people will likely be doing when sniping so, in essence, this both helped with offensive and defensive play.
Great great tips. One thing to note when slide sniping is to try and be at head level during your slide, so you have to make as little of an adjustment as possible
All right, TV, solid advice as always, but let’s be real here. You slow this down to quarter speed and most of us still can’t keep up! Won’t stop me from trying anyway!
Go for speed on sniper perks. Beloved with snapshot, quickdraw and a radar tuner mod will ensure you can move and scope in/out quickly. Radar tuner really helps with the pace and brings you up to speed with the snapshot quickdraw.
Ah man, as a self professed good sniper - even an aggressive one! I have picked tips up and am going to be incorporating some of these strategies. Icarus grip on a sniper? Pure genius. Have been running radar tuner now for months. Thanks again TV, I credit the majority of my talent to yourself. Catch you in the crucible
Slide snipes are so much fun and pretty much no one expects it. I started to do this because of the Beloved I got. It came with smallbore, acc rounds, firmly planted and moving target with a handling masterwork. I was really concerned about missing snapshot, but this Sniperrifle combined with Sniperrifle targeting on my helmet feels sooooo nice and snappy.
My own set of Preparational tips. 1. Mobility Focused builds are prime for aggressive sniping. Thoroughly adjusting to the highest possible mobility setup is a good step. Then you just have to get used to landing shots at higher speeds. I personally use The Supremacy, top tree Dawnblade with 10 mobility and Transversive steps with burst glide. Pros of mobility focused builds include but are not limited to: Faster strafe speed, Farther slide distance (usually because of exotics), Faster engage and disengage, etc. Cons: Higher base and double jump/more air time. 2. Handling is king. Anything that effects how fast you scope in and swap to your sniper is what you want. You can swap out the movement exotic for one that effects swap speed, like Ophidian aspects. 3. Don't forget about enhanced perks. I have another set of armor that has nearly every enhanced sniper perk. (I'm missing enhanced sniper loader and it's reeeeally annoying) Save up on solstice keys to gamble for enhanced sniper perks. On the class armor, gun for snipe reserves and scavenger. 4. Finding the right sniper to use should feel like a process, intricate in how it feels. If I were to recommend anything, use lower impact snipers. They tend to have much higher handling, and feel snappy. 5. Armor perks aren't the only important ones. Sometimes you're going to need to grind for that god tier masterpiece of a sniper. Your magnum opus. For example. A beloved with Fluted Barrel, Accurised Rounds, Snapshot, Quickdraw, and a Handling masterwork. Or a roll of The Supremacy with Fluted Barrel, Ricochet Rounds, Snapshot, Rapid Hit, and a Handling masterwork. If you want it, set aside a couple hours per week and don't accept anything less than your god roll. Once you finally have it, you'll thank yourself for not giving up on it. Dedication like that will make you want to use and improve with it like nothing else. 6. Use the puppeteer button loayout. Just....Trust me. Try it out and you won't want to go back. 7. Lastly, and probably the most difficult if you use primary sniper rifles. Finding a secondary that doesn't suck liquid ass. Sunshot is a good start. Recluse is solid, but the problem with it is that its too often used as the highlight of the build, and people most often have to use it as a primary, such is the nature of the gun. Omolon hc's are hot trash, don't come with mod slots and the only useful thing about them is their lightweight frames. Speaking of which, try to use lighweight secondaries, they provide farther slide distance and faster movement. After following these tips, rewatch the video. You'll find it easier to implement the tips shown in it and find that some of them work more effectively. Bonus notes. Practice with dedication. It's all for nothing if you half ass it. There's no one way to be good or even mediocre with a sniper. Try working on basic shots first. Feel out the sniper you're using. Understand the maps, watch sniper guides from D2 and D1. See where strategies come from. Try to understand why it works as well as how. (I've been sniping since D1 year 2 and just around warmind was when I felt comfortable crouching in scope to prevent other snipers from steadying shots on me.) Everyone and their mother will tell you to stick your fingers into rumble. It's....A bit sweaty for my taste. Try a mixture of quickplay and rumble. Just realize that in rumble, you're not always trying to win. Try to get as many headshot kills as you can for 2-3 weeks. Try to keep the sniper on for the entirety of each match. People will not go easy on you. You will encounter the meta constantly. When rumble starts getting on your nerves, go into quickplay. This is where you'll work on map awareness and your secondary dueling skill. Challenge everyone. Practice putting in shots and target priority. Put yourself in risky, nearly impossible situations, and shoot your way out. Sleep on your practice. Warm up in quickplay with your secondary. When you go back to rumble, try to only hit headshots with your sniper. Using map awareness to predict rotations, spawns, sniper lanes and even invader spawns in Gambit. If you know the maps, all you've got to do is predict where people are going to be through practice. Understanding that this can be used against you is important as well. It's all about building muscle memory. Becoming a terminator that snaps to a head instantly and blows it off with precision. Tips can point you in the right direction, but the most of your improvement comes from you. Try with intent. Practice with purpose. It all goes toward your goal. *this took way too long to write plz give me likes.*
Another thing about the slide is that when you slide, if you look around it won't change your momentum/travel direction if that makes sense, so in theory you could slide forwards, look down a lane to the left/right and still keep moving forwards.

one thing about slidesniping. higher tier players already expect you to slide so controlling where u start the slide inch away from doorway or 3 inchs from door way and slide in with slight angle or jump to the other side of doorway to make them waste ammo coming straight back out sliding. being creative and good aim can get you far in sniping challenges at obvious sniping spots like endless vale middle lane. distant shore river area.

I have a beloved with firmly planted and box breathing. I use it with a Sprint grip so I can slide snipe really good, but I haven't played with it a lot
Just for those who are shy when it comes to sniping: don't be afraid to try something new. I never thought I'd be using a sniper so much in destiny until I simply gave it a shot. I got my precision kills for Revoker in one play session (about 5 hours for me) just for TRYING and I sure as hell had fun. You'll get a small high when you snipe a Titan hammer out of his/her super for one.
If you are playing on PC with M&K be aware you won’t get the stickiness (thanks Fallout) that people on controller receive and hence dragging the scope comes down more to mouse sensitive and skill. I also like to use Sprint Grip for running and gunning with my sniper.
Just for clarification, when you slide into a lane, do you remain crouched for the snipe and then sprint out of it? Or do you stand at some point while scoped in?
Stay crouched. If you sprint out of it, you'll have a delay when you try to re-ads and fire. The goal is to get the first shot off, and if you slide in and ads at head level, you'll have an easier time dragging to their face than they will adjusting downward (or diagonally) to yours. Most people have a harder time adjusting vertically than horizontally, hence the benefit of sliding/crouching.
TIP: if you play on a certain sensitivity for a long time now, move it up 1 point. I played on a 5 for more than a year now and changed it to 6. It feels incredibly good and you feel like you made serious progress through that year.
Hey TV great video I am trying to become a better sniper and your breakdown helps a lot! I know you probably get this a lot but what sensitivity do you play on? (Preferably on console if ever)
True Vangaurd quick question......i'm just getting back into D2 from year 1, my sense is 8 and for some reason as i get more comfortable i'm starting to undershot...its strange i was hitting my shots on point the first 2 weeks but this week my shots are a tiny bit short. I don't think going over 8 sense is right, am i wrong.
Hey brother I’m pretty new to Destiny but I’ve picked it up quickly and I feel like im competitive in pvp.. I am struggling against good snipers though could you make a counter to snipers video.
I've noticed that when I get into high pressure/high tempo sniping situations and I'm going for a shot, my entire body tenses as I'm going for the shot. This leads to two things: 1) I miss more shots than I should because my motion isn't fluid or controlled, and 2) *I'm stressed as heck*. Any tips for keeping my veins icy when the snipes are heating up?
Experience... the more you familiarize yourself with that situation, the more likely you'll stay calm. In short, just play more games that challenges you, to build up your confidence.
Do you think we were to quick to nerf N/F Luna. I mean we nerfed them because there was no counter for them. What's the counter for a buffed recluse now?
Quickdrawn in the weapons and enhanced dexterity with snipers an primaries (if you are a warlock , use the ophidian aspects , they work great if you dont have enhanced perks in armor)
Listen folks, the best way to get used to aggressive sniping is to first get used to high sensitivity, yes low sense can give you more precision but high sense will let you react faster, also TV mention to not use TargetAdjuster, He is right but using Icarus Mod wont be of much help either instead use Radar Booster, trust me youll love it. And always slide.
I started playing destiny 2 around Christmas 2019 and something that always bugs me about console is the slow ass sensitivity settings for controller I play 20/20 no aim assist or target assist in cod and computer has those kinda sensitivity I think they need to change these things even aim assist you should be able to turn off it kills me more then it saves me I'm not bad at the game I got a 1.21 KD but some things in the game I find need to be changed it would open up more options to play styles
What are CASUAL players? All i get are complete sweats 80% of the time and of coarse i get the low level and or bad teammates on top of that. It sucks. I wish i could play casual players
1.slide in (and swipe left or right to target)
2.icarus mod on sniper(more useful then ta)
3.adjust to your opponents(know their lanes, know what they do, learn from mistakes)
4.move to cover AFTER shot(make it instinctively unless far away, behind pillars or large objects, switch weapons)

Try using the proelium Fr3 fusion rifle
I started sniping the day after you sniped me out of my super and I can't stop lol

Good video
Hey brother I’m pretty new to Destiny but I’ve picked it up quickly and I feel like im competitive in pvp.. I am struggling against good snipers though could you make a counter to snipers video.
What's the name of the songs played in the vid? RuneScape?
Crucible: *Aggressively sniping intensifies*
Good video! Will be useful.
What controller - standard DS4 or something better?
Unholy hmm ds4 controller? Never heard of it
I've noticed that when I get into high pressure/high tempo sniping situations and I'm going for a shot, my entire body tenses as I'm going for the shot. This leads to two things: 1) I miss more shots than I should because my motion isn't fluid or controlled, and 2) *I'm stressed as heck*.
Any tips for keeping my veins icy when the snipes are heating up?
Valium, in a pinch alcohol
@@dukekessler6292 ah but then my reactions get slowed 🤔🤔🤔
Experience... the more you familiarize yourself with that situation, the more likely you'll stay calm. In short, just play more games that challenges you, to build up your confidence.
The drag scope...sniping 101
Do you think we were to quick to nerf N/F Luna. I mean we nerfed them because there was no counter for them. What's the counter for a buffed recluse now?
With out the buff it is ine of the worst smgs in the game ....and the answer to your question is quite simple ....movement and cover
@@andymitchell6019 without the buff N/F Lunas just 180s move to cover..
What perks do I need on my armor to swap quickly between the sniper and primary?
Sniper dexterity, found on boots. It'll effect how quickly you switch to your sniper wont effect switching to your primary.
Quickdrawn in the weapons and enhanced dexterity with snipers an primaries (if you are a warlock , use the ophidian aspects , they work great if you dont have enhanced perks in armor)
What is your sensitivity?
How are you able to use sun shot so well? That’s literally the hardest hand cannon to use on console. The recoil is so awkward on it.
All the uploads...:)
I literally play like you already💯😭😂
I like a sprint grip mod for my snipers
I use a radar tuner mod on my sniper because I don’t like attempting jump snipes
Hey my guy
Back on this vid just cuz and I miss these maps
What are CASUAL players? All i get are complete sweats 80% of the time and of coarse i get the low level and or bad teammates on top of that. It sucks. I wish i could play casual players
...then you're probably a casual player.
Anyone know the first background song name?
Looks at the leaderboard, "At the top of the list *Alone as a god*
