Cod's DMZ mode had the opportunity to be amazing had they actually taken the looter elements from MW2(22)'s campaign survival missions with finding attachments and crafting items. it was a very stream lined system in the one campaign mission and had all the mechanics from that mission been implemented into DMZ it would have been able to succeeded. The way DMZ could have done the custom loadout system and made it work without ruining the mode is, by having you Extract with cash which you would accrue over each successful extract and use to buy weapons you unlocked through leveling and customize your loadout. had DMZ had a true and proper storage system for loot outside the extraction zones would have seriously carried the game forward. sadly they went with toddler friendly game type that didn't have any real stakes and just got old and boring fast.

Hunt showdown is the extraction shooter that got me into the genre and they constantly are updating it and adding to it with an engine update coming sometime this year. Still play it all the time. Such a good game
@@Player2Gaming definitely. they just had a few events in a row and they said sometime this year theyll be updating the engine and rumors of a new map coming but not confirmed. As long as the update doesnt add game breaking bugs then itll be a great time to dive back in
Ah yes imo Hunt is one of the most original and creative games released in recent years. It just oozes with atmosphere and playing it feels so fresh and different. Also it manages to have very complex mechanics but still being pretty intuitive

That guy at the very end that said "get smoked buddy", i played with him and like 4 other people together (we were in 1 match and we all of us just teamed up). Having 6 players against the aliens was pretty awesome. Mines exploding and turret shooting people dying. Was pretty hilarious.

Just a heads up on Hunt: Showdown, that game has a very steep learning curve, you will probably learn new things throughout your first 300 hours and the first 100 being painful. It is a great game but it needs dedication. Enjoyed seeing it here

Feel like hell divers is furthest from these other days in similarity.. yeah you extract but it’s not really doom and gloom if you fail a mission nor can you loot and get out with new gear. You upgrade with a progression system. If this game is on here then warhammer darktide should’ve been here too
You talking to people about their day or just about things in general is really what helps continue keeping the community going. I think I don't know how many games I go into more often than not everyone's quiet or everyone's being vulgar with each other, but you never have anybody actually talking to anybody about anything anymore. It's kind of like a lost art
I couldn’t agree more. It’s literally my favorite thing to do in the games I play. Meeting people and cracking jokes, improving their day (as well as mine), and maybe even learning something about life or the world outside of my own in the process. Love it
This video perfectly sums up exactly why these kinds of games are fun going back to the OG DayZ Mod for Arma 2 OA. That is what got me into PC gaming. Its about the community and conversating while trying to survive. I've been on both sides playing collegiate and semi pro Esports for OW 1, CSGO, etc... and just enjoying the game. But recently it feels like gaming has been hijacked by the Esports gamers making everything tryhard and not just having fun. Im so glad Helldivers brought that feeling back a bit but even then there are people playing who just care about what weapons and stratgems are Meta ruining the experience. I recently quit Tarkov because of this reason and the cheaters. excited to try Arena Breakout though.

Tarkov is probably one of the best games ever made but because of work issues I decided to lay off the stressful time sink games. I saw Helldivers2 get good reviews so I decided to give it a go. OMG!!! FFS! It's insane. If huge amount of adreneline disrupts your sleep pattern then avoid. That reminds me, I haven't tried Marauders in a while. It's a Steampunk version of Tarkov but not quite as stressful. I'll give it another go tomorrow if it's still alive. Phillip.

one of the best extraction shooters right now is SinglePlayerTarkov with the FIKA and some other mods, especially when you realize you don't have to pay 250 to play a better version of co op PVE
I will likely be making more content on Ghosts of tabor. It’s just so wonky when you have all that flexibility of movement. I was cracking myself up just playing it
I wanted to. It’s so hard to do with my SM7B microphone. I’d love to find a way to get my mic right in front of my face without hitting it with my hands in game. Maybe I’ll get like a 5 foot tall mic stand. That may work

Arena breakout is Such a good game I've been playing it on my shitty phone since it came out even though I have a 1200€ gaming PC. I'm also looking forward to the release of the PC game
If you're not into Tarkov anymore there's no extraction shooter looter right now that's any decent, because they all get something wrong, like making it third person, or having no loot, etc. They try to reinvent the genre and it always fails.
Vigor being 3rd person really works in my opinion, it's much more rewarding to play aggressive as opposed to games like Tarkov where unless you're kitted it's pretty much suicide
I would recommend you try lost light or arena breakout with both being on mobile and lost is ont steam, and console, even ghosts of tabor is a good game but it's might be confusing for people new to vr. As a tabor player myself I can recommend this game to you and maybe you can experience some of the other games I listed
hunt showdown is so good, you just need to have good communication because the game heavily relies on sound cues like the crows flying away for example and letting your teammates know, comms are ESSENTIAL, especially since the game literally lets you see people through walls after getting a bounty which is badass
Just to let you know Part 2 is in a couple days and will explore about 7 extraction shooters but they will specifically be new ones that nobody has heard of yet. Part 3 should be the one with lost light
For arena breakout, u played the easyest map on the easyest mode. Most good players go to either TV station or armory. There controller has Zero advantage. (you will lose most of ur shit😂)
among the extraction shooter game a great game was the cycle frontier but as everyone knows yager didn't know how to develope it right, a huge disapointment as the game was great, it had amazing potential and my biggest regret is that i didn't play it as much as i wanted, i home there is more people that think the same way i do

Sometimes I wish there was more PvE extraction shooters. Im tired playing the same PvP intensive heavy. Theres almost like no point in having PvE when you engage in PvP cuz people are always looking for pvp than pve.
Gray zone warfare is nice and alot more forgiving and even has a lce only mode cause you're more likely to die from your own faction than enemy players .. I've got 100s of hours on dmz from beta to final season sucks how it turned out cause of the player base and hackers

ngl i enjoy tabor more than tarkov, i play games to have fun and be immersed, not to die to someone holding a spot that is only 1px wide on a 16K monitor, tarkov is fun too when you go in with friends, but tabor you can actually solo if you want

Tarkov is probably one of the best games ever made but because of work issues I decided to lay off the stressful time sink games. I saw Helldivers2 get good reviews so I decided to give it a go. OMG!!! FFS! It's insane. If huge amount of adreneline disrupts your sleep pattern then avoid. That reminds me, I haven't tried Marauders in a while. It's a Steampunk version of Tarkov but not quite as stressful. I'll give it another go tomorrow if it's still alive.

one of the best extraction shooters right now is SinglePlayerTarkov with the FIKA and some other mods, especially when you realize you don't have to pay 250 to play a better version of co op PVE

I'm sure it has settings to pick up your voice better and obs has filters and there is programs for cleaning up your voice and suppressing background noise. I'm sure you aware but just my 2 cents.

Arena breakout is Such a good game I've been playing it on my shitty phone since it came out even though I have a 1200€ gaming PC. I'm also looking forward to the release of the PC game
If you're not into Tarkov anymore there's no extraction shooter looter right now that's any decent, because they all get something wrong, like making it third person, or having no loot, etc. They try to reinvent the genre and it always fails.
I really liked The Cycle Frontier. Thought it would’ve been big, But I think they could’ve done more with looting and progression.
Vigor being 3rd person really works in my opinion, it's much more rewarding to play aggressive as opposed to games like Tarkov where unless you're kitted it's pretty much suicide

I would recommend you try lost light or arena breakout with both being on mobile and lost is ont steam, and console, even ghosts of tabor is a good game but it's might be confusing for people new to vr. As a tabor player myself I can recommend this game to you and maybe you can experience some of the other games I listed
Hunt showdown is AMAZING
hunt showdown is so good, you just need to have good communication because the game heavily relies on sound cues like the crows flying away for example and letting your teammates know, comms are ESSENTIAL, especially since the game literally lets you see people through walls after getting a bounty which is badass

For arena breakout, u played the easyest map on the easyest mode. Most good players go to either TV station or armory. There controller has Zero advantage. (you will lose most of ur shit😂)
among the extraction shooter game a great game was the cycle frontier but as everyone knows yager didn't know how to develope it right, a huge disapointment as the game was great, it had amazing potential and my biggest regret is that i didn't play it as much as i wanted, i home there is more people that think the same way i do

Sometimes I wish there was more PvE extraction shooters. Im tired playing the same PvP intensive heavy. Theres almost like no point in having PvE when you engage in PvP cuz people are always looking for pvp than pve.
I actually played Gray zone in the last video I posted. They have done a great job with making a fun PvE only experience if you don’t like PvP
The original rainbow six extraction when it was a gamemode was the best thing that couldve ever came out, ruined it by making it an entire game

Gray zone warfare is nice and alot more forgiving and even has a lce only mode cause you're more likely to die from your own faction than enemy players .. I've got 100s of hours on dmz from beta to final season sucks how it turned out cause of the player base and hackers
