That's awesome! Totally going to have a play with this setup, thanks! Also, example IV sounds so Black Moth Super Rainbow/Tobacco! It's lovely! Nice one :D
Great video again Ron! Looping and live audio recording is the only thing I can't properly get my head around, this explains it well. Hpwever there's one thing that I still can't figure out. How do I record an audio clip in Grid mode, while the Deluge is playing, so the audio clip is the preset fix length? In Rows mode if you held REC+a pad below an audio clip you would record a new audio clip the same length. But I can't seem to do it in grid mode. The point being here that I want to record a clip without stopping playback, and without having to press a pad to close the loop. Thanks for any input!
Hey Ron. I notice you can switch between green and blue mode. Mine is defaulted to green and blue mode requires me to hold the pad. I’m on 1.2 so wondering how you’re doing that. Cheers. Andrew.
Haha - Alt and hard rock is totally my jam and I can listen all day man... No apologies required. All demos should have guitar IMO 😂 HX Stomp - SICK! Helix FX and amp models are soooo good. I use a POD GO Wireless which has a "lightweight" Helix engine. I'm considering upgrading to a HX Stomp, but the GO is already really good. There's barely a reason to mic up real amps anymore! I do love those dirty tones you got here - nice demo (again!) I gotta say, some of the new looping stuff in the new firmware is kind of confusing to me... It can loop layers to a single clip and route the audio from one clip to another, but I'll be damned if I could get it to work reliably, it seems a bit buggy right now? Maybe I'm not using it correctly, or hopefully a future release will improve on it. Anyway, the Deluge is super exciting right now!
Great video Ron. My biggest challenge with looping has always been how to close the loop without having to press the Deluge or being able to set the length of the loop and have it auto-close. How do we do that?
@ If the length of tracks is predefined why don’t they auto-close negating the need for a foot switch? Do you have to setup the foot switch to close the loop for each track while looping or can you make that a part of the template?
@@dankelley1030 the length imagine dictates when a close loop happens. Imagine set to 2 bars and press on bar 3 it'll close to the closest multiple . There's no set length in this function.
Hey Ron 👋 the red and pink pad doesn't show on this. At your right hand. When I hit learn, nothing happens for the audio clip source? I'm still 7 segment, perhaps I've enabled this unwittingly?
@@Kevvywevvy make sure blue mode for audio clip source in grid mode. Red and pink are enabled in the menu, it's just foot switch buttons for looping but it's kind of buggy on 1.2 so I didn't cover it.

This dude just wrote an entire Weezer EP in 20:16.
