This was an interesting watch. Im a UK paramedic who’s nervous system became sensitised working the job during the pandemic in 2021 whilst completing the paramedic degree.
It has to be one of the most stressful anxiety inducing jobs out there. 12-14 hours of cortisol and adrenaline secretion, 4 days in a row.
Massive hats off to Jonathan for making recovery gains whilst continuing his job as an EMT. It’s an added layer of stress on the nervous system that needs navigating on top of everything else. Also if you have any health anxiety, it can often be made worse by what you see on the road.
I’m also an Iraq war veteran who was exposed to short bursts of acute stress over a 6 month period, but it was nothing compared to the continual chronic stress of the ambulance service, where rates of PTSD are actually much higher.
I believe Jonathan’s experience of anxiety disorder and recovery will make him stronger and more grounded for it

Jonathan, how do you function during your work? Having full blown anxiety during work makes you prone to forget your training, making more mistakes etcetera…?

    Hi
I have been watching shaan videos and reading Paul David and cleere weeks book and I’m not afraid of the anxiety symptoms and my panic attacks has stopped but I feel drowsy in the middle of the day. The drowsiness comes slowly and it takes all energy out of me and I have to lay down and it takes 2-3 hours before I feel energy again to do things.
Has anyone experienced this and am I coping it the right way?

Shaan, do you think it's ok if I never gone to a doctor for checking my health? I am strugling with anxiety and panic attacks for almost a year and I've had tons of symptoms that leads to anxiety like: heart palpitations, dpdr, headache, chest pain, intrusive thoughts random pain in body, swallow problems, agoraphobia etc. I started my recovery in february and now i can say that i am better than before, my symptoms are not that strong like before and panick attacks are rare, last time when I got panic attack was like two months ago. Do you think it's just anxiety? I have tons of symptoms that leads to anxiety and If i would have something, things could go worse.

No, I DONT it’s okay that you haven’t gone to your doctor and using these comments and videos to self diagnosis.

Hey sir hope you are fine. I’m 25 years old boy. My anxiety started exactly 3 years ago. The doctor gave me some panic attacks and anxiety medicine I took the medicine full course. Is there are any permanent side effects from Anxiety Medicine? Thank you

    • @rigas333
      @rigas333 6 місяців тому

There are no permanent side effects, nothing to worry. SSRIS and benzos can’t damage your brain, you can have withdrawal symptoms for a short period but then your brain goes back to normal.

The toxicity of the comments on Shaans videos kill me, sometimes.
Its not only bad enough that there is countless hours of free content out there that covers everything needed to recover, people constantly complain about the fact that the program costs money (as it should)... but now we have people discounting the experiences of people who are sharing their journey. Extremely rude.
If some of you focused your energy in applying the principals instead of being nasty online, you'd actually recover.

It does feel sales tacticish tbh, you see it with all kinds of coaching and salds programs as well (diets, spiritual coaching, they all use the same format). The elements are deff there, ofc I understand Shaan and his team need to make a living, its a slippery (tricky) slope

    • @rigas333

You just let them be there and don’t react with fear towards them and they will go away. I found it much much easier to deal with the physical symptoms, it’s really the emotions and feelings that are the hardest

Once again, would appreciate a less sale-sy direction from this interviewer. They come off as extremely insincere and unwatchable. In addition, please have better questions that actually guide the interviewee.

They are explaining how they can help people through a person they have helped. BBP has soooo many recovery stories that have absolutely nothing to do with working in some info on their program, go watch those. But to say this was just a sales pitch is not valid whatsoever. I do hope you find what you’re looking for as it seems anxiety has found you. Good luck!

@Jonathan-tl7ll Hey There brother I could see you haven't recovered from anxiety because you have the same look I had when I was suffering so it's easy for me to spot it because I'm so familiar with it but know That in order to recover from anxiety you must Fully surrender to Shaan AND Forget everything you know .Shaan Has been in your shoes .You needs to forget about yourself f and follow everything Shaan says literally everything.Once I found out I was in A Cult I suffered A huge Panick Attack couldnt sleep for months or sit still I thought I was going crazy.Since my journey had alot of things to do with spirituality it was much more intense but anxiety has nothing to do with spirituality.I tried everything Shaan was my last hope and I took a gamble THE DAY I DECIDED TO SURRENDER FULLY TO HIS UA-cam VIDEOS AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS MY LIFE CHANGED IN A WEEK I RECOVERED 80% IN A WEEK AND 100% IN A MONTH IF I DID IT YOU CAN DO IT STAY STRONG YOU EVEN MORE BLESSSED THAN ME BECAUSE IM IN AFRICA I COULDNT AFFORD SHAANS PROGRAM I JUST MADE A RULE FOR MYSELF THAT I WILL LISTEN TO EVERY WORD HE SAYS.FOLLOW EVERY INSTRUCTION AND NOT ASK QUESTIONS.JUST FOLLOW SHAAN FORGET EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU KNOW,YOU WILL RECOVER
