In this video I will show you my way to use silicon molds with Air Dry Clay , I will show you how I paint Air Dry Clay , how I use metal leaf to create gold look, How I use mirror powders..

Such a cool technique! I've actually worked with air dry clay once for my aromatherapy necklaces, but haven't progressed further. It was really messy. lol. Sparkle on!

I absolutely loved your bowls. Really liked the shell you made too!!! Makes me want to play with my air dry clay again!! As for my thoughts on Air day clay .... it’s very messy but I like to sculpted things with it. I made snow men for my friends and family in 2019 and Christmas Gnomes last year. I never used DAS just regular a lot cheaper air dry clay and had because of that some problems with cracks after it dried but put some wall putty on those places and let it dry then painted them. I had a lot of fun making them. Made like 8 or 9 gnomes 😅😂😅. But polymer clay is just so much easier to work with and so much more fun for me. But I would love to see more air dry clay videos if you up for it!! Loved the gold leaf you added also. ❤️🤩 thanks for yet another awesome video!

That is just so cute. You done a wonderful job with it being your first time using air dry clay. I use it for covering jars and glass but although it has its place I still prefer actual polymer clay. The biggest downfall I feel is how long you have to wait for it to dry. (24hr + in some cases). Looking forward to seeing the next part.💜
Yes, the polymer clay for me is the best material for art. There are so many possibilities. Right? But sometimes I want to try something new and I would like to know about an experience of you all.

It is just very different and how in polymer clay you have to learn and get more experience. I think Air dry Clay is better for home decor creations . I’m going to experimenting more with.

You can speed up drying in a convection toaster oven on high with the door wide open.

@@Sundiyday learned this from Ankie Daanen, doll maker, during our classes sculpting dolls from Paper Clay.
When I use molds, I push the air dry clay into the mold and trim the excess with a tissue blade - they pop right out of the mold. This will save you time from cutting them out and cleaning up the edges.

Can you mix airdry clay with polymer clay ?
I don't think it is good idea
I dont think so. Polymerclay must be baked, airdryclay dries on it's own.

На что похожа эта глина? Липнет к рукам? На видео она немного тянется. А работа интересная получилась.
Здравствуйте, Ирина! Что я могу сказать . Эта глина похожа на керамику или простую глину для горшочков . Она не прилипает к рукам , только пачкает руки , но очень легко смывается, даже если засохла на руках. Я пока только начала знакомится с этой глиной , и мне често говоря , понравилось лепить из неё симпатичные вещи для украшения дома . Попробуйте , и напишите мне ваши ощущения в работе с ней . Она сравнительно недорого стоит . Спасибо за вопрос ❤️
