Ben's face after he said, "Steak?" And Marie tells him, "Siding." 😅
Ben, Murri and family, You have done incredible work out there on West Mt. what an undertaking!!
But getting it done. Nice job B&M.
We are slowly getting there.
Not only one of my favourite YT channels but also favourite family. It’s the only channel I tolerate the in video ads because they’re so entertaining 👍😂
Thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Wouldn't you know this family celebrates date night on the longest day of the year by working until dark on their house.
Amazing, hard work, fantastic. Kudos to each of you and the team effort.
House looks great. Looking forward to a shop build as I'm sure you are too Ben. Thanks for making us a small part of the family...🤓
Good to See You Chipping Away at it, Looking Damned Good Too
The hard work you guy's have done so far is amazing. You keep added all the right things to make the end result unbelievable. Just keep moving forward, and make it 11% better 👍👍👍👍
House is coming along pretty well. I'm sure you will all be happy once it is finished. Looking good.
The new home looks amazing I’m so excited for the family. Once it’s completed, one less think on the major to do list.
right on Ben and Marie! great job creating awesome memories!
Awesome progress for sure!!! You keep up all the hard work and it will be all done before you know it!!!! You have definitely came a long ways in a short amount of time I think!!! I still remember building are house back in 2000!! Stuff was definitely much cheaper also!!! My better half and I did absolutely everything including the concrete work are selves!!! My dad and mom wouldn’t help because they had to go to all my brothers college games so they said that they didn’t have the time to help and now my brother hasn’t talked to my parents for the past 12 to 15 years and won’t even let them see there grandkids!!! It was definitely hard doing everything by are self but it definitely helped with putting tons of equity into the house and we had banks calling us to get us to do the final closing with them!! We was happy with everything and we would definitely do it again for sure!!! You will definitely be happy when everything is finished and all the hard work is done!! That is when all your hard work really shines!! Awesome job!! Oh and we don’t have any kids that we could have help us either!!!
BEN YOUR LUCKY THAT YOUR CHILDREN LOOK SO MUCH LIKE THERE BEAUTIFUL MOTHER --LOL-LOL-YALL ARE GREAT
Thanks that’s what I thought
There isn't many people or families that can build there own house or remodel one. You's are doing a good job 👍🏽
That is a big house
It's coming along fine many years of happy life in the future
Great job, thanks for continuing to share your progress, much success in your completion.
Top those sawhorses in scrap 2x4 pieces, or any handy lumber Ben! Damn things ate too expensive to replace!.....I have ruined many myself😅. Now I top mine the day bought, and staple strips of outdoor carpet onto the 2x4s to keep from scratching my metal sheetimg.
Good morning Utah 🌊 The house is looking amazing🙌 You are one solid loving family❤
Your home is so pretty, such hard workers! Bens a trooper for sure. God bless kids.
What an amazing family! I absolutely love your channel! God bless you all ❤
Thank you for watching us! May you and your family be blessed as well!
I thought the use of a lighter for checking gas for gas leaks was a great joke. What an awesome family. Thanks for the video.
Great job on the house! Thanks for sharing!
Almost there guys. Its really cool watching you build the house all by yourselves. To me, the ultimate in fabrication.
Nice work B&M family! House is looking good
What an amazing multi talented Family....!
You are so kind
You guys have come sooo far since I started watching. I’m proud of you! Ben it was good for you to go home. Even though I loved you on fab rats. You’re great here!!
Ben, Great job on the house! Thanks for sharing!
Looking good you and your family are doing a great job😊
It's looking good
Sorry my thumb is big! 😂😂thanks for watching us we really appreciate it!
I've enjoyed watching this family build their dream house. I'm willing to bet, that within two months they will remove the swinging door. Been there, done that...
Great job again.
great as always great content very entertaining
I look forward to seeing your place done. Some pretty awesome finishes you guys are putting in. 👍😎🇺🇸 Happy 4th!🎉💥🪅🎆🎇
Thanx for sharing your Great work and Content
Have a Great Day 👍
Looking good guys ‼️🫡🏴☠️
Plugin in a pocket door. I was asked to put one in our pocket door in the bathroom. It is for her lights on the Christmas trees she puts in there. We usually have between 20-30 trees in the house of all sizes.
Happy to have served and your all very welcome
The house is coming along quick now. Those scooters are handy for flea markets and get togethers where you'd have to walk a mile constantly, like group trail rides, vacations, car shows, etc.Carry the inflator in the Jeep, and or buggy. Not only refill tires, but it'll charge camera and phones.
Good job you guys, we live in northern Alberta and it stays daylight until about midnight up here! You guys rock!!
What part of Alberta are you from? My dad use to cover the graves up there. I have family in Red Deer.
You should put a 2x4 or a 2x6 on top of your sawhorse this way when you cut thru you don't damage your blade
Love it!!! My dad would be so ripped if he saw his saw horses. I need to do better. #alwaysakid
You guys are great. Thanks.
Great job Ben. You and your wife and children seem awesome. House looks great. Good luck on your shop!!!!
Another great video
Another fun time with the Cox clan!
I had no Idea Ben Knew so many Things about Stuff,, Right on Dude..........
After watching him on fab rats when he started on there show, i thought he was only a Mechanic..
Kudos to Ben and the rest of the family, Much respect. (dont know every ones name yet).
good job
A couple pieces of that thick foam board insulation is a great investment for long cuts as a table/horse protection measure. Really great for any panel cuts, but on top of saw horses it doesn't bend and you can run the blade a little deeper 🗿👽🗿👽🗿
Awesomeness at its finest, thanks for bringing us along 😎
Good job guys house is looking great ❤
Interesting how the siding goes from the top down. I’d not seen that style before
I like jour films and jou ar a tight familj and jou have fun always work and lots of humor many lafs from Sweden😮😮😮😅😊
Together we are always better!!!!
Tip; when using metal sawhorses or work support, screw a scrap piece of wood to it's surface, though you may have figured that out by now. Great teamwork on the house.
Looking good, people!!!
Looking so good ❤ happy 4th of July to ya’ll 🎉🎉🎉
😎
Fabrats And B&M are some of my favorite UA-camrs . I miss Be on Fabrats. are you guys mad at each other?neither of you say anything about one another. pray you are not mad at one another.
I’d love to know too!!!😊
We would all love to know already
I'd say the silence speaks for itself.
They explained it on FR episode. No there is absolutely no family drama. (out of the ordinary 😂).
Ben’s family lives 3+ hours from FR and he was traveling, spending 3-4 days, then heading home. It was an untenable situation, Ben didn’t have the time to be the father his family needs.
So tough choices were made and IMO He made the right one.
@@stargazer7644 What silence? It was clearly explained by Paul and Ben on a Fab Rats video.
Drama Queen
thanks for the content have a great weekend
The place is looking great
Family works together stays together. Great job. How about a large garage?
It’s next on the list!! Thanks for watching!!’
Keep the content coming!👍🏼💪🏼🤙🏼
House is looking great
Post your list of things to do here, and we can remind you to do them ready for the next 3rd time lucky inspection, we are watching you.
Great efforts Family 😃
oh.. happy independence day..
Enjoy
GOOD JOB!
Dang we can still see light in the sky at midnight here
The house is movin along . Great to the whole family working to build their new home. I’m not sure if I missed it on a previous episode, but does Ben have a Big garage connected to the house?? Never seen anything related to the garage. Great job Ben!🤙😎
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Now all you need to do Ben is get Robby Layton to paint your tin house.
That’s a lot of paint😂😂😂
Gday guys
Good morning!
Why does the tin outside look like its partially oxidized.. should it all look like that in time?
Yup, that’s the plan.
It should even out but it will take years.
@@bandmsgarage sounds rustic. It will blend in to the hillside slightly.. I love earth tones
Ben is so fortunate to have a wife who is a "contractor". Murrie built Ben a house, my wife only built me a tool shed with her cooking.
Team work is dream work. It makes all dreams a reality if you give it time!
good morn Ben
Good afternoon!
Get Ben his shop!
I wanna see him work on vehicles again. 😉
That's the plan!
Do your laminate floors get slippery when they get wet? I love your floors they look amazing. The house is coming along great you guys are doing a wonderful job
They do get slippery when wet. Nana loves her rugs so I am not too worried.
@@bandmsgarage that's what I was worried about was Nana. And I love how the house is coming along you are doing an amazing job you are very talented woman
@@yvonnedavis1622 I love how it is a seamless flooring. None of us are getting any younger. It’s easy to install, it’s easy to clean, it’s comfortable to stand on and I have even seen Ben and Finn take a nap on it. For now it is great!
I thought she said Sighting. I thought were going UFO watching!! Boo! hehe
😂😂😂
Getting closer. I seen the OG guys use lighters to find gas leaks
🤣🤣🤣
That's how my uncle Richard cothern and his dad Beeb would check for propane leaks in there trucks light a match run it by the fittings it freaked me out when I seen him do that the first time
I live in kanab not far from Paul
Can we see those outside door lights on at night to get the full visual effect.
👍
Ben needs to shave for summer time you wife amazing woman hard working
Those fields of grass is it possible for you or your neighbors mow them down to reduce fire hazard.
Ben and the boys have been working at it. That is why Ben made the trailer mower.
The tire inflator has a maximum pressure setting that you should have used. To prevent overinflating! Lol
Kids! They try really hard. They learn a lot!😂🤣 sometimes it is just fun to watch.
@@bandmsgarage Your absolutely right!
Y'all have a great channel hope you can move in soon. Then get started on the shop. I first started watching Ben on fabrats was sad to see him go, but the Lord works in mysterious ways. There are other channels that have have more new faces coming and going. But I know y'all had your priorities, House and then the shop. But more important Family Love y'all And may God bless y'all.
This Veteran says Your Welcome. How many rooms are going to be in your Castle. When it is done. So far it is looking Great! Next comes a shop for Ben!
THANK YOU for making this land a place where we can raise kids with freedom and ideas of becoming more!!! We are grateful for you! Our house has 3 bedrooms Nana, the boys and Natie’s.
I am so excited to finish Nana’s floor so we can make Ben a shop, hopefully before winter. Then we can get back to building our home in the basement once Ben has a more steady work.
hi ben fam love the ch
Love this! I just wonder how you afford it all. 😊
My parents really help! My parents had the land. My mom believed that I could build a house, even when I had never done it without my dad. She sold the last house my dad built so that Ben and I would have the chance to teach our kids what my dad had taught me. My dad had all of the tools. Ben, the kids and I have done all of the work. Like usual because we all work together we have been able to build even with the crazy prices. Because of prices we are only finishing my mom’s floor. Our house (the basement) will have to wait until finances come. I am so thankful for my mom’s sacrifice and belief in us!!! #parentslove she
@@bandmsgarage Appreciate the openess, you are really fulfilling their legacy. Best of luck to your family 🙂
Shop build!!!
Yup next!! Can’t wait.
Nice house
Mr. Ben and family beautiful house you guys have worked your butts off
Videos doesn’t do the siding justice I might’ve missed something there but the videos look like there’s black and rust everywhere on the siding It’s Confusing maybe I just never seen this kind of siding before believe me I’m not picking on you It just what it looks like on the video I hope it’s what you want and the video just is not doing it justice
Stay safe and don’t burn up on Fourth of July and Ben’s wife take that lighter from Ben 😆
The black spots are where the water has sat waiting for us to hang it. Eventually the whole structure will turn rusty then we will clear coat it. Then it will look just the way we want it to. For now I think it really cool all the different patterns.
Screw 2x4's to the top of the saw horse's
Ben . your house is looking beautiful, Your WIFE is fukin AWSOME ! ... our kids are great and AEWSOME ... You are are a BLESS man .... thank you B&M Garage, cause you're awesome
I appreciate that!
Quite the project Guys!! Not sure the look your going for with the siding though?
Industrial sheek meets cottage janky. I don’t think I can even spell the look we are going for🤣🤣🤣 but at this point it is what it is!!!
I can't believe inspections are that hard out there! Do you have to pay them every time they come out, or something? Because if you do that would explain a lot.
It’s rough but hopefully the third time is the charm!
Inspiring team effort finishing your home. BTW, I would not get too aggressive with the power washer on bikes and scooters. Bearing seals and electrical are not heavy duty....ask how I know.
Thanks for the tips!
I'd like to see the siding. Is it reclaimed ? Most siding I've seen it locks from bottom to top. Not judging just curious.
Dont run the gas lines in front of the evaporator coil. It will make it a pain later to access the coil.
True it will now suck to change
I don't understand why you had to put the outlet in with the pock door. ?
Not a single cable staple was harmed in the making of this house.
Sometimes some I D 10 T makes a code, then another I D 10 T blindly follows it, making you do something totally unnecessary. Some codes are just really uncalled for, like an outlet in a pocket door.
We are in the mode of trying to get to make the inspector like us. It rough because we are just us. Take it or leave it. The game is alive and we must play if we are going to pass and get the kids back.
@@bandmsgarage kids back???
Make sure you document every unnecessary code that gets tossed at you. Some codes officials are power hungry and you need to protect yourselves from them. If you dont pass the next inspection you need to request a different inspector. As a schooled building maintenance tradesman i see very quality work being done from your family. Also have you been given actual code documents for what is needed by your inspector or just his verbal list? If in doubt get the codes book for your locale to assist you.
Yep
