AJR is one of the most HATED bands of all time, but plenty of people absolutely adore them. We both have never sat through an entire AJR album before so in today's video, we do just that. Is this band really as bad as people say they are or is the band actually slept on? Let's find out because Nobody Is Watching...

I, as someone who loves AJR, can definitely see where you’re coming from in your criticism of AJR. And I believe the target audience is just for the people that don’t have a specific music taste. Because every song is so different, but their fans still love it as much as the ones before. They create the music in the weird way they do, because they’re basically creating their own genre. Anyways, good video 😀

I used to really like AJR, one of the first bands I listened too when I got Spotify for the first time. At first I really enjoyed it but the more music I listened too the more critical I've gotten of their music. Also doesn't help that I've seen plenty videos absolutely dragging this band through the mud lmao. While I can't enjoy a lot of their songs anymore they still have some that I still genuinely see as good. Karma off of Neotheatre and Way Less Sad & Christmas in June here. I do believe that they can eventually work their way up to making a good album but only time will tell. I mean this is their best album in terms of writing and production so. Also I believe My Play is supposed to talk about a divorce but I do agree that they've milked the "I don't wanna grow up" writing.
They probably have a good album in them! Their two recent songs they have dropped are HUGE steps up from this.
I didnt know theres a lot of ppl who hate AJR, which is fair bc their music is kinda weird and doesnt sound like its for everyone, though thats my kind of thing

You know, it's really hard to get behind and understand an album when you're talking over and cracking jokes throughout all the songs. Just some advice for the future
Used to listen to AJR when i was younger, it entertained me when I knew nothing about good music. Hearing this, their newest album, is very disappointing. All their music sounds the same. I didn't realise how rinse and repeat they are. They've just thrown in some modern narratives into the same beats and melodies.
