Not only that, they felt like what they had wasn’t a good trilogy ending and deserved more time. It’s currently on the back burner, possibly released in the next album or maybe even a single later on

Tbh the first listen was absolutely magical, the second listen was ✨less magical✨, and then I listened to it again and it was once more magical lmfao I think it’s because I had been anticipating the album so much and it came out late at night and it just felt like a once in a life time experience, and during the second time it was just like different circumstances and I wasn’t really clicking with it yet (pun sorta intended.) also, I was way more critical as I was like comparing it with previous albums. every listen after, I was able to pick out different stuff about it and I just loved it more and more. it’s kinda hard to explain, but sometimes I don’t really get an AJR song until the second listen, and then I _love it_
The Trick was my least favorite tbh, the female voice was a huge put off for me, Its also the least viewed song on the YT channel but I can understand why you like it, I can't wait for the instrumental version cuz the instruments sound pretty nice
