    with all the bends,bend radius, how did you get the holes to line up so well? did you do a complete drawing then add the holes,or some other CAD vodoo?

      Great question! So the sheetmetal bends are aligned with what send cut send’s specifications are like bend die radius and K-factor. Once I know for sure what material and thickness I want to use, I look up the specs, put that in solidworks. Now solidworks will do all the math and flatten out the bends and create a flat pattern with bend location lines.
      The holes are put in the model where I want them in the bent form. Hope that helps.
