    Nice to see how someone, who is not one of the many 35-65 year old male photographers, uses her camera and sets it up. I usually go into the supermenue with the OK button. Select with the controll buttons and then change the value in the supermenue with the controll wheels. Back with halfpressed release button.

      Hi Tobias! I've found my setup hasn't really changed. I find that I often don't use my super control menu very often which I really should because it's got half the short cuts I need - trying to get into the habit of using it more often! :)

    Just purchased this camera and waiting for it to arrive. I'm overwhelmed with all the tutorials. This one looks easy and I'll def be referring back when my camera arrives. Nice video...just subscribed.

      It can be super overwhelming especially with how customizable the camera is. I pretty much have the exact same setup to date, the only thing I've really changed is back button focusing. Have fun with your new camera and thank you for subscribing!

      If you don't already have it I recommend 'Mastering the Olympus OM.D E.M1 Mark II' by Darrell Young. It is super helpful and whilst it doesn't cover the major firmware update it still gives you plenty of insight into what each bit of the menu does and what his suggestions are for each setting. Then just look up people like Peter Forsgard, Jimmy Cheng and Robin Wong for their suggestions on settings in addition to what you can learn on this channel. The EM1 MkII is a truly fabulous camera.

    I just ordered this camera. What do you think of the audio capabilities in the camera? Do you use a separate audio source or do you record in-camera? Have you noticed any hissing?

    Good video !!! I just recently picked up one of these with a very low shutter count. Curious the reason for changing from RGB to Adobe ?

    Just got this camera today. My god it has a lot of settings. I've just put my camera on aperture priority mode for now. I'm not going to mess with the settings.

      Hi Gary! Don't be like me! I played around with all the settings then had to restart the camera because I couldn't remember what I changed..haha! Have fun with the new camera! :)

    Just a tip. Please take it or dismiss it: Selfie videos look better if you reduce the gap above your head. Your eyes are dead centre in the frame. IMHO a little higher is way better.

    hi..i bought olympus m1 mark 2...being a 2x cropped camera,does the aperture remain same as in full frame?i mean if you have to take a pic at f2.8 ,do u keep aperture at f2.8 or f5.6?

    • @robynnemacleod
      @robynnemacleod  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! The crop doesn't affect my aperture. All of my lenses are F2.8 so at any focal length I can use an aperture of F2.8 up to F22.

      Only the DOF apperture of m43 2.8 equivalent to FF is 5.6 if im not mistaken. Amount of light is still the the same 2.8.

    • @nadeemkhalid2239
      @nadeemkhalid2239 3 роки тому

      @@tv69rawa3 that's what I am confused about..the DOF...so that means 2.8 is equivalent to 5.6 on micro 4/3

      That’s too bad, I was quite confused and overwhelmed with the system when I first got it but after some time with it I got used to everything :) Now I love how customizable everything is
