Used app during a recent trip to Japan. I was blown away with its ability to read signs and other written text. I enjoyed the conversation feature since english is rarely spoken in Japan. I recommend it to anyone who wants to communicate with locals.

Thanks for the reminder on that, as well as the save feature. As for the use of the handwriting feature, I found that, in French as in some other languages, I'm sure, the accent makes all the difference, yet is difficult to type. With a handwritten word or phrase, i can easily add accents to ensure a better translation. Finally, I think you meant the verb "err" rather than "air" in your topic title late in the video. Thanks again, Ernest, for a great and very practical video. Despite being pretty conversant in French myself, I found myself using the app multiple times a day.

This way, I can better understand the context and nuances of the language.

Doing this, I can correct my mistakes and learn from my errors. I want to know exactly what I've said, and not what GT thinks I want to say. For a language learner, GT falls short. IMO

I have a second translation application and better translates word text or from the picture . This translator is called Camera Translator .

Thanks! The Chilean Spanish is known to be extremely difficult. I have a feeling that you'll likely be able to communicate out using the app (i.e., English to Spanish translation), but incoming translations might be a struggle due to the dialect.

It will definitely have a negative effect on your credit score, but it is recoverable. I've been in the situation in the past as well. In fact, I had two cards from Capital One that were closed last year because of inactivity.

Offline speech does not work. Every informational post on this subject studiously ignores the only problem and instead explains everything anyone who has average chops already knows. Why do you torture people?
