Wanna know more sad facts? The Doctor's 10th Incarnation is only 6 Years old at this time. Don't believe me? Nine was 900 when he regenerated, and a scene with Eleven in series 5 said he was 907. Not to mention the Doctor himself saying he was 906 when talking to Wilf. Add that all, and David Tennant, at least in canon, had the shortest tenure as the Doctor, or the shortest age to die.
@@ivandphantom9028 this is probably one of the saddest facts in Doctor Who (it actually made me cry right now), but I like to think that means he was the most accompanied Doctor of all of them. We were with him in more of his adventures than with any other doctor. We know him more than any other.
Do any of you here realize that this song is not a background theme for the scene? It's actually the Ood singing into the Doctor's head, so he's actually hearing this song as he dies :'(

I will never forget David Tennant as the Doctor, I want him back. I miss him so much, I cried so hard, and I still do. This song makes me cry no matter how many times I listen to it, and watching it is 10x harder. People don't understand how much someone can change your life without even knowing, Ten changed my life for the better so much. And I wish I could thank David Tennant in real life. Glory of life and sadness of death encapsulated into one beautiful piece of music.
I bawled when I watched David's final episode, thankfully I was home alone so I was able to cry and scream "THEN DON'T GO, DAVID!!!! NO!!!" David will always be my Doctor.
my GrandDad once said this to me, when he passed away i made a request that it was played and It was. It was surprisingly moving to everyone who had never heard the piece of music
That's amazing. One thing I hope because I'm religious is that when I die, God will be awesome enough to have angels sing this song when my soul leaves my body and gets ready to ascend into heaven. Jesus could even be there like the ood was in the street. It's a childish fantasy, but it would take away all the fear of dying.
Jacob Greenstone that would be amazing. My religion believes that when we die, if we were as good as we could have been, we would get our own universe. If you've lived a good life, you could make your own universe with The Doctor in it.

10th Doctor....
I will ALWAYS love you.
a friend of mine used this song for the death scene of a frog in a table top rpg.
Not a single person who didn't shed a tear that night.
It's a sign of how good Murray Gold's music is that just this music alone can bring all the feelings straight back, making me sad and emotional, but in a good way. Man, that last part of that sentence sounds weird, but it's true.
Back here after the 12th Doctors regeneration
"We will sing to you, Doctor.
The universe will sing you to your sleep."
2:21 only real fans will recognise that's doomsday for 10 seconds odd
Or Bad Wolf since both themes sound nearly the same.
I recognise the music, but I just thought it was the Tenth Doctor's motif.
Yeah, it's kind of the theme of 10.
no it is so much more so much more lol
That’s like the 9th and tenth doctor’s theme but ok
This finale was a bigger cinematic moment than any film that’s ever played in theatres.
In fact The End of Time should’ve been played in theatres as one long epic. The crowd reactions at several key moments would’ve been impossible to replicate ever again.
2:17 "I don't want to go..."
2:21 always gets me because that's the moment in the episode that I realized, I will never hear that song again. Ten's theme. Farewell.
If David Tenant died, we gonna play this at his funeral
I love how this song just perfectly matches the tone of it, and how David Tennants line always make me cry when i hear him say it.
2:21 I don't want to go
I think David Tennants doctor is the pinnacle of the new series. epic finale to his tenure.
When windows 10 is replaced by windows 11
Have you ever noticed the 9th and 10th doctors regenerated in the exact same spot.
I miss Murray Gold so freaking much. We get nothing like this in Chibnalls run
