- Getting back up to speed with a quick collection of level mod runs, it’s been a wild ride trying my hand at these courses for the first time and I gotta say this is the most fun I’ve had with this game in a while. You did the speed skip for aero garden! I need to try that one, I jumped from much later in my run lol
Heck yeah, it’s a pretty straightforward route. Just gotta jump from the right spot and you can full send it all the way to the goal

So I’ve been trying to learn m-speed and d-speed for fun, and I think I’ve managed to get the analog position right because there is a noticeable lack of air drag when I jump. However, I don’t go as fast as I should and I lose momentum when trying to actually do superspeed. Is there something I’m doing wrong or is it something that you just kinda practice?
In your case, I’d recommend trying to launch with a faster running start, or try using an up-right m-speed tilt. M-speed can be pretty finicky so it may be more difficult to use in certain restricted areas than others

What mods do you get your sound and visuals from? basically anything other than the levels
I use sound effects from The Sound Resource, an archive of a variety of videogame sfx. And I edited all the visuals myself with Adobe Photoshop

This was actually my first pass at Titanic Timber, though this is a graphically updated version of the original stage that I’ve seen before
Which game is better? Sonic Generations or Sonic Unleashed?

And which stage mod you liked more? (Of this video of course).
In terms of gameplay and story I’d say Sonic Unleashed, though it’s still a pretty subjective comparison.
And of the stage mods shown here Shivery Mountainsides is definitely my favorite, really well designed course and it’s a blast to speedrun

Amazing editing as usual. Btw, have you considered speedrunning the Sonic Omens Sonic stages? It’s similar to Sonic Unleashed
Omens was a questionable money laundering situation, so I'm not sure if he will consider that
@@SoniaSpectrum it's also designed like ass, with lots of too open areas and precise platforming that don't work with the boost
