Absolutely loved both parts. I'm a big fan of Ant but it was really interesting to hear him speak about overcoming some bad times and his wider car experiences which I had never known about (Top Gear). He is so down to earth. A really class comment about Edd at the end.
Ants work ethic is brilliant, hes gone through some really troubling times and come out the other side stronger. In video 1 his daughter said you only regret the opportunities you didnt take (or something along those lines) and thats so true! Everyone should listen to that and grab every opportunity that comes their way, even if it doesn't work out the first time

Another absolutely incredible interview by Jonny. Had the pleasure of meeting Ant once many years ago and he is genuinely every bit as lovely as he seems. Knew absolutely nothing of his celebrity private life, fascinating, but I can't imagine being under that much scrutiny. Ant is the man. I have a family member who’s a mechanic and my late uncle was a mechanic but Ant is head and shoulders above any mechanic that I’ve ever seen. Loved watching wheeler dealers in America

Fantastic interview, have always enjoyed Ant on screen, although not watched much recent Wheeler Dealers (no TV + plenty of content on YT, like this channel!), he comes across as such a genuine guy and really has a passion for doing a great job on the cars. Simply amazing that he had built so many cars before 18! I have the dream to build just one, and dont really have the time even for that yet.
Hey Jonny, Loved the 2 part interview. I met Ant on the Radford stand at Festival of Speed in 2021. He was so chatty and nice that when we walked out I said to my friends “which of you knows him as a mate”? The answer of course was, “we’ve just met him for the first time as well”. What a top bloke.

You know at first I was it’s Edd or nobody. I remember Edd saying give Ant a chance. I did and I’m so glad I did! He’s really a good dude and seriously talented in many ways. So glad you interviewed him and shared!!
Great interview love Ant and love your work. My wife and I are complete petrol heads and we met Ant at the NEC not long after the top gear fiasco and he was down in the dumps and he really cheered up when I told him he inspired me in my restorations. He wasn't sure what he was going to do I suggested he do something with Mike and Ed kind of thing so that was 2015 so hearing he may do that is epic. He grabbed my new wife and took her in the reveal enclosure and I took their picture next to Ants car I think it was an early Jenson not interceptor, what a lovely guy. Fuzz and Tim were revealing the Volvo P1800 and met them too so get them in the chairs please.

Brilliant vid thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the MAXI mention at the end there made me smile, the first cars I remember from childhood are my dad's Maxis, I remember 3 of them, driving from Liverpool to Devon for holidays and every one would break down just past Birmingham we'd have to wait an hour or so for it to cool down then we'd be on our way again. Thanks for the memories 👍

All respect to Ant, very nice man and great achievements throughout his TV productions. When it comes to car rebuild and repair programs Ed China is at the pinnacle of this genre. In my opinion Ed was shat on from a big height and my opinion of Mick Brewer hit the floor.

All respect to Ant, very nice man and great achievements throughout his TV productions. When it comes to car rebuild and repair programs Ed China is at the pinnacle of this genre. In my opinion Ed was shat on from a big height and my opinion of Mick Brewer hit the floor.
