Sim games that don’t support VR are going to be a thing of the past and considered outdated technology…especially when vr heatsets take up way less space over the pricy 3 monitor setup
VR looks like 💩 for now, the technology is not there yet.
@@USConnexion VR is the only reason I started Sim Racing again :D It´s not perfect yet. But with things like OpenXR games look better than ever. It´s triples or VR for me and many people

@@USConnexionreally depends on your pc and headset settings. To be fair some games are definitely not as good as others. ACC is decent but AMS2 looks gorgeous, it really depends on the devs dedication to incorporating it, which as of now isn’t a priority. Only real downside to VR is the current headset weights.

Kireth mentioned new Fanatec wheels but nothing with a screen (darn). Any idea how many or time frame on release? I desperately need a second steering wheel and might hold out for a new release if relatively soon

Once you have investors of any kind demanding performance without looking at the big picture (including their banks), it’s a very scary place to have a business. Everyone ends up losing in the end.
I ordered a DD Pro on the 10th April....still waiting ! Unfortunately, i ordered a Trak Racer 160 MK4 (with Fanatec mount) at the same time. Main irriataion is shiney new rig is still boxed as i cant use it until the Fanatec kit turns up.....like a kid waiting for Xmas that keeps getting delayed !!!! 😢
Also - does anyone have any update on if/when any games will be fanatec Full Force compatible?

While I will defo cut my teeth on the wheel with GT7, I am very interested in having a good look at ACC when the time comes - I suspect I might get more out of it as an enthusiastic e-sports amateur?!
Man, imagine paying full price for EA WRC just to not get triple screen support, or VR, and it being a stuttery mess. Then, to add insult to injury, you find out that Richard Burns Rally does all of that stuff, is a better handling game with realistic physics and more realistic damage, and is free. Damn, that'd suck.
Yes, WRC is total trash. If they haven't fixed the bullshit stuttering then VR is a non starter.

Turned up yesterday, just a heads up....good old Brexit ! Had to pay £154 import tax. Make sure you pay in advance. Don't rely on paying UPS driver. Wouldn't release goods until payment was on "the system" which can take 24hrs. Luckily the driver I had was sound so was happy to wait till I rang UPS and sorted it.
Would you say ACC is worth it on PS5? I’ve heard it’s not great on console vs. PC.
Its not as good graphics wise but the gameplay is basically the same. If you've only got a console it's by far the most realistic sim available. As long as you have a wheel I'd definitely recommend. Due to its grown up sim nature it's incredibly hard on a controller.

Ill probably buy it, play it on go instead. I play most of my gaming on handhelds now. Same with GT7, got a ps portal too. What i love about modern gaming. You got a connection, you can play anywhere. Easy to just play on your console without a tv. Xbox dont need a ps portal, just buy legion go. Works flawless with xbox beimg windows. Controller registers for use on gamepass over using a separate controller. Not so on ps. Why portal best for ps games. That controller pretty cool tbh.
That incredible deal for £4.67 doesnt get you all 9 games, it gets you 2 of the games. Wrc9 and mud runner and a offer for 20% off a dlc. Just wasted my hard earned lol

I started with a logitech FFB wheel in 1998, I aspired to own a Fanatec setup soon after that. They where the pinnacle of sim racing hardware. Then a decade later I bought a Fanatec base, wheel and peddles..... Quality was poor, support was worse, but they owned the market and couldnt give a damn about the user. Unfortunately that attitude seems to have persisted, while the likes of Moza and Simagic have entered the "cheaper" market, and they provide after sales support.
I really hope Fanatec can get their s#$t together, competition is great for the market, but customer support must be their number 1 priority!!
Lol acc on Xbox has about 10% force feedback that it should do ... When I looked into it seems to have been an issue since launch, can't believe it doesn't get more coverage but yeah if anyone sees this, do not get acc on Xbox.. infact with the fail of Forza (I was incredibly looking forward to it) and the technical issues with acc there isn't any good racing games on xbox
Fanatec are terrible wheels ..thrustmaster are much better
