I came here cuz I wanted to use slices of green onion on my ham and cheese omelette the next time I cook one. Thanks for the tutorial, it's amazing how tutorials help you get through life when you don't know how to do certain things.
Hello Bob, good video, I always worry about there being water in my GREEN ONIONS after washing them. Also, after watching your video, it looks like you're only getting the skin off (the slimy stuff😁). I have been chopping them and I just mix all the parts together for some white and green color. I have been putting them in an air-tight container in the fridge for storage, and put a paper towel in the bottom to absorb the moisture of my GREEN ONIONS.
This is great! Didn’t know there was a difference between the white and green - sauté vs. salad toppings. Thank you. Can you freeze them, too? Assume yes….?
You're obviously not a professional cook/chef. They don't drag a chef's knife across a cutting board on the sharp end. That's what the BACK of the knife is for. And you spent nearly half of the video getting to the subject OF the video. You're what I call an "Internet Regurgitator".

You asked so nicely, I couldn’t help but subscribe
People, ignore this guy about the naming. ‘Chive’ is an entirely different plant.
Thanks! This was a great confirmation for someone who isn't too familiar with cutting green onions!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks

You're welcome!
Just so you know green onions are not the same thing as chives
