- Daisy Ridley had a cameo in the movie but was cut out because she wasn't available for reshoots as she was some sci-fi movie. She was one of the students in the first scene.
- Will was originally meant to play You're Beautiful but they couldn't get clearance. Simon Bird actually practiced the song on guitar

The first film felt like they wrote the plot first then worked out funny bits from what they wrote to incorporate.
The second feels like they wrote the funny ideas first then weaved a plot around them.

It wasn't so much that they were dressed as Harry Potter characters... it was just the party-goers demonstrating that they didn't like him enough to let him in.

yeah he got pranked, it's a common trick where you tell someone it's fancy dress/costume party and then they are the only ones who turn up dressed up and look silly

You Guys missed the end Credits!!! there's a whole load of scenes from when they go travelling, and then there's the scene at the airport!
As a ‘younger gentlemen’ (said lightly) who want to Ibiza a lot, it wasn’t unusual to have club reps at the airport hustling you on arrival. Then get their club bus with your luggage even before seeing your hotel until 9am in the next morning. Which was usually a dump.
It's ashame on Jay really, you can understand why he plays up so much to impress his friends is because his dad is such a wanker toward him. He's just lost and needs to find some reality. ❤

Kind of surprised you didn't know 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face'. It's been covered by loads of people over the years, but the most famous cover version was by Roberta Flack and that's probably the version of the song most people immediately think of, so I'd have thought it'd be really well known in the USA. (Personally, I really love Marcia Griffith's rendition. It's joyous!)

Funnily enough most people avoid the water parks in Australia (like the one where they shot this) because there are awesome beaches not half an hour away! It's just a tourist trap.

I didn't like either movie that much compared to the series but this one just doesn't feel like Inbetweeners at all, it felt more like a 1980s US gross out comedy that just happened to share the same character names. First one at least feels slightly related to the series.
I'll give you a suggestion, BUT YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE MOVIE FIRST!!! THE MOVIE CAME FIRST. It's a comedy about 2 teen, not the smartest, guys that are always looking to scam....hence why it's called the young offenders!
The small independent film done so well than expected the BBC picked it up to make it a series.

HAHAHA!! I'm sorry guys but it was hilarious when you escaped after the turd scene.
Part of the reason this movie isn't as well liked is none of them seem to have grown in any way. They're all still the same as they started, so it just seems like a bunch of nostalgia instead of a real addition to their story. And instead of changing them in any way, the movie just magically starts rewarding them for their failings. Will's singing would turn off any and all women instantly, so the fact that she reacts positively to it is some manic pixie dreamgirl nonsense.

Dreadlocks look cool. The Vikings wore a type of dreadlock and so did the Ancient Minoans, Celts and Indians to name a few. I do agree that some people look pathetic in them though.

I can recommend the Misfits and Derry girls series after this one. Two other great shows from channel four.

The poo scene is one of the funniest movie scenes ever
The one thing that bothered me with this film was how out of place some of the humour felt. There were crazy moments in the show, like Jay in the nursing home, but they felt natural to the characters. In this movie you have things like the water slide "incident" that felt completely unnatural
I agree. Neil's ibs came out of no where. We hear plenty of references in the series about Neil's need to release his bowels but never mentions ibs. Literally just a means to get a poo joke in the film

I still think the second movie is crap but gotta admit I must have missed a couple when I first watched it. Neil recommending Grindr to Will was quite funny. One of the things I hate about it is how they treated Lucy, Simons bird. In the first movie she's a laid back sweetheart. In this movie they make her insane and act completely different to how she was in the first movie just to add a bit of conflict and make Simon single again. Jay even quits his job just to maintain an obvious lie. The humour is a bit too exaggerated and American for my taste. Not relatable and believable like the series.
Yeah Lucy is a completely different person, not the same girl who offered Simon her ticket for the cruise.

The film “The Festival” is pretty similar to the inbetweners and has Simon and Tara in it. White Gold has Simon and Jay in it and is very funny.
I think 2 girls 1 cup might be a bit too much too soon in Spencers poo viewing career if he gagged at the pool scene!
