His enthusiasm has never dropped, and that's what i respect most about travis, he's never changed, and he's just a super humble guy. I just hope he takes it easy on himself over the next few years, i'd like to see him last a long time.
When travis was 15 years old his spinal cord shattered through his pelvis and he was the third known person to have suffered that injury. The other two were both paralyzed.... very lucky to be alive
Travis Pastrana is my favorite person in the world. His passion and drive is so inspiring it makes me want to conquer the world just listening to him. Travis has done so much for the world of actions sports that everything he touches is greatness at his fingertips. He will always be my biggest hero.

Sounds like an amazing family to do that for him. A TREMENDOUS amount of pressure but look where he is now. He handled it like a champ and is now a champ at whatever he wants. Truly inspirational.
I worked on Subaru Rally Team USA with Travis. Incredible guy. I can't believe you had him on the show!!! Incredible!! My world's literally just collided :P
So stoked for finding this episode as well as Lewis Howes' UA-cam channel. Grew up skateboarding and racing downhill mountain bikes - also went to UC Santa Barbara and am big into personal development and being a positive human. Always have loved Pastrana ever since the original Crustys Demons of dirt and am so stoked to see him killing life. Thanks for providing arguably my favorite interview with him as well as providing a quality UA-cam Channel!
This was an amazing Interview I'm stoked that you got the opportunity to sit with Travis chat. Thank you for these amazing Podcast/Videos and everything you are doing with the School Of Greatness. Totally Awesome!
Awesome interview. Travis can teach entreprenuers alot with his humble approach to fearlessness. So much simple wisdom in this interview. Big Ups to Lewis and School of Greatness for getting Travis on. Bad Ass...
I've been reading your Mask of Masculinity book and on its pages I just now landed on the part about Pastrana, so had to dig up this podcast and watch it. Awesome interview as always and the book - great eye opening stuff!
Love Travis Pastrana, great guy and an amazing interview. It was awesome to see how passionate and humble of a guy he is and how much he truly cares. Another great one 👍🏼
Thanks for having on Travis Pastrana- have always loved following what he's up to over the years. Definitely recommend anyone watching this check out the McConkey documentary on Netflix about the base jumping accident he mentioned.
Wow cool guy to have on, nice job Lewis. Just found you through your podcast with Steve Cook. I love how you ask everyones definition of greatness and love the stuff on meditation too.
Lewis, discovered you a week ago, by now I've watched so many of your videos. Huge respect for you. I'm going through a little "0 motivation, have a lot of time, but don't want to do anything, would rather just think" crisis, can you say 1 sentence that would get me up and make me want to do shit? Thanks!
Keep watching motivational videos and you will see a shift in your mentality. Also, stop watching things that aren't motivating. That's what has helped me.
You are just so amazing... all these inspiring people, oh my god...I wish everyone could watch your show, always. It's just so great. I'm just throwing it out there, maybe the "impossible" can become a miracle? ;) So.. Are there any ways possible to come and work with you? I'm a photographer from Stockholm, Sweden... Snowy Blessings, Zindra Lynx, Lynx Photography :)
Hey Lewis, I love what you're doing for people and I've just started to follow you recently since January. Keep up the great work Lewis and if I may make a small request. RSDTyler from real social dynamics has helped me along with you. 😜 For me to see you interview Owen would be amazing so if you can check him out when you get a chance and bring him on the show, that'd be great! You rock Lewis!!!
Lewis: "Living to survive... that doesnt make sense to me" .. certain situations call for certain measures. Its easy for a single guy or selfish individual to always push for what they want. Couples, especially ones with kids, need to give up what they want, and often need to "live to survive" permanently or for a short time.
