    I feel when I keep my back heel down and lunge forward, there is a binding pinch in the front of my ankle on that back foot. Can you give me some guidance?

      Hmm. 1/ don't do it! ... just my opinion ... 2/ if you must do it, shortening your stride a little may reduce that pinching. ... just an idea.

      @lazefistz Sifu Wayne always has good reasons for why he says to do something. I feel if he says to do it, I just need to adapt to it.

      @@bredmond812 Great! You go for it... In my experience stubborn persistence with any movement/drill/excercise that causes pain or discomfort, (such as you described) requires some adjustment (else needs to be discontinued) less it results in injury. But hey, what do I know...
