Carl Graham Cheating in ME is a player choice. You can't blame the character of Shepard for something the player decided to do on their own. There are also certain instances, such as the case of Kaiden and Ashley where it isn't even cheating since they pretty much break things off with you at Horizon and you can only pursue another relationship with someone else after that point. Even if you choose to continue the Kaiden/Ashley romance, you still have to spend all of ME 3 trying to rebuild the relationship from scratch. Kaiden and Ashley at least have the excuse of Shepard being clinically dead for the past 2 years and with him/her being mysteriously rebuilt by Cerberus, they don't even know if it's really Shepard. If Jacob's situation was at all similar to Ashley or Kaiden then I wouldn't have minded. The thing is though....it wasn't at all. He knew Shepard was alive and well and he had only been away from her for 6 months through no fault of her own. He couldn't even keep it in his pants that long? What makes it worse is that there is no way to change things. No matter what you do, or how loyal you are to him, Jacob will ALWAYS cheat on you. His disloyalty is a built in character flaw. He's an alright character if you are male, or you don't romance him. If you do romance him though, then he's a total ass.
Still one of my favorite romances in video games. It's not just because she's hot I really like the dichotomy of the two characters. The whole galaxy thinks and expects these two to be perfect. With Tali and Liara you get lot of "cute" dialogues, but it always felt more like fan service then actual romance. Also, I couldn't shake the feeling she was suppose to be cannon love for Shepard. njmfff I thought this too until I romanced Jack. I know, seems unlikely, but paragon shepherd and Jack have the strongest romance by far. When you romance Jack, she opens up and turns out to be an amazing person. Shepherd basically saves her from herself, and then she becomes this admirable person. Plus it allows for Shepard’s more dangerous side. Even going full paragon, Shepard still kills people. It’s cool seeing that even though he’s a great person, he can be feisty with Jack and get tattoos and shit.
Lets be honest. Shepard is an awkward person. His only skills are doing death deafying shit and getting otherwise sane people to join in. Have you seen the man dance?
Brandon Williams that’s kind of a good point. Both female and male Shepard seem really awkward in Some social situations. A lot of them. I think it’s Shepard’s weak spot and I kinda like it 😂
21:11 What a beautiful scene; the soundtrack, sheperd looking at the distance, his crew gathering around him is just beautiful. Thank you Bioware for making this game
@@rohambahraee Well, yes. Graduating high school back in 2010 hit me like a ton of bricks. Most of my close friends moved out and it was a harrowing time in my life because I had so many personal issues at home as well to deal with and depression/alcoholism came into play. I ended up dropping out then started college over in Paris where I ended up living for almost a decade. The pandemic hit right after I completed grad school and I went back to my dad. Now, I've been trying to find my way back, working toward an MBA (my third degree as I already have a BA and MA with Honors) and my driver's license. Throughout the pandemic, many games held me down. I revisited Mass Effect when the Legendary Edition came around last May and as soon as this song hit, the floodgates opened. This song and the trilogy (especially Kaidan, Jack, Miranda, Wrex, Grunt...and the Citadel mission) will forever have a place in my heart for multiple reasons, especially when me and my friends separated after both HS & college. On my way out of my hometown next year, I'll listen it for sure.
Change probably with definitely. It's not everyday you get to see the two finest specimens of humanity ever engage in copulation. Well, it is everyday after this point but you know what I mean. Just imagine if Miranda could have kids, what kind of monsters they would be. Shepard's luck, badass genes, and raw power mixed with Miranda's intellect, looks, and biotics. And just like that I know how the Emperor of Man was born in Warhammer 40k.
@@goku8621 No, her dad made her without reproductive capablities so she couldn't have kids cause he was a perverted piece of shit with a lot of money to make a living doll.
22:15 is the biggest middle finger I've ever seen in a romance. So here you are in the fight of your life and your Girl isn't by your side fighting with you? lmaaooo I feel so bad for the people that romanced Miranda and got this garbage.
while Tali's romance dialog is absolutely priceless, Miranda and Shepard's dialog and chemistry felt the most genuine. All the romantic interests on the male side have the female gushing over how awesome they think Shepard is, almost as if the characters don't perceive themselves good enough for Shepard being all nervous and awkward (though its somewhat endearing). The exception is Miranda, who is quite independent by contrast, creating much more tension throughout the series. Even as their relationship progresses, the moments of her affection feel authentic and true to her character. The farewell was unfortunately underwhelming, however I would argue that Miranda's aftermath (assuming destroy, high ems) and Shepard's survival is the most compelling and emotional conclusion which I would elect to be "cannon". No insult to the other female interests, but all things considered, they all felt like pursued interests and relationships; Miranda and Shepard felt like a natural romance.
N0V4S74R Can't speak for Ash, Jack and anyone else I may be forgetting, but for Tali, she isn't gushing over his 'awesomeness'. She's only very concerned over the fact that Shepard always stood alone, despite the odds, despite that he was the only one that believed in the inevitable danger than only he and the Normandy crew - inside and outside the X-Squad (that's what I call the squadmates altogether, shut up) - could see. And she couldn't help but fall in love with him for not just that, but also the fact that he was the first of few to treat her like an equal, not an outcast, like how everyone seems to treat quarians. To get a better idea of the mistreatment, you'd need to read the second issue of Mass Effect: Homeworlds. Now, I'm not dissing Miranda or anything. I'm just saying that to me, Tali seems like one of the very few people that look past the 'Commander' and see a man struggling, coping with seeing so much death around him, following him everywhere he goes, and bearing the burden of trillions and the guilt of the belief that he's failed so many. She just doesn't want him to be alone throughout all that. And my god, does it sound creepy that I'm speaking for her, amplified by the fact that she - correction: _all of them_ - are fictional. WHAT ARE WE DOING WITH OUR LIVES????
HA! i agree with ur last statement the most. Idk, I can appreciate all the subplots in many ways, and maybe it comes down to that I found miranda's character to mesh the best with the shepard character in regards to the dry humor that their dialog contained. I already mentioned how much i enjoyed tali's awkward dialog, and liara's seemed very serious 90% of the time, which isn't a bad thing. The only criticism i have is that tali and liara both mention or hint at the fact they have watched shepard longingly or something to that effect and how they never thought he would go for them. Endearing for sure, but miranda's didn't get invested quite as quickly Everything said, I think my statements come across more critical that they should. each character has great aspects of their subplot, I just found the miranda one to be the most compelling and the most seamless
I will say that I absolutely despised the farewell or lack thereof or miranda in mass effect 3. Brutal writing. Brutal storytelling. Every other character's was better bar none. maybe the most realistic, but highly underwhelming
N0V4S74R Well, they've known him far longer than Miranda did, who only worked on bringing him back from the dead without knowing anything about his character, and after that, it's been, like, a month or two of knowing him.
I just wish they focused less on Miranda's daddy issues and more on Miranda's personality being fun during 1 on 1 moments. That's what made Tali and Garrus great as romance options, they had their issues but were also fun to romance.
Duxitisation B It's that her personality doesn't fit to be a funny person. She is cold and mostly dedicated to her work, and is interested very little by people, while both Garrus and Tali are quite open to people(Tali by her desire to be integrated in groups and Garrus for wanting to protect people) while Miranda minds her own business alone.
Because that is Miranda's personality. Her insecurity of her origin constantly needed to be facaded behind a cold and focused demeanor. You either respect that she lives like this or you will never get to her soft part. You would forever keep scratching the shell. Her life was defined by hiding for her father, and to do that earning results for TIM. This is her, and after her killing her father, She was freed. The best would yet to come... too bad.
Im not gonna beat round the bush here these romances are adorable but that final cutscene never ceases to make me tear up the atmosphere the words of your significant other giving you courage and shepards teo words along with that phenomenal music track gets me in the feels.
Loved the romance angles in these games, i actually felt an attachment to miranda, the damaged beautiful girl that doesnt trust anyone.... Kinda resembles every woman in my life smh
ralx225b That's exactly what the indoctrination theory says lol, did you even watch the video? Its states the ME3 endings were all a dream inside Shepard's head and that only if you choose the destroy option would you wake up. In other words the ending weren't real. Don't post a link for someone if you have no idea what it means.
@@sheilamyers1217 preference really. Dragon Age's fun but you can't deny the connections you built with the characters on Mass Effect are far more impactful. This is unavoidable because Dragon Age took a different direction. Mass Effect (trilogy) features generally linear gameplay and consistent main character. Dragon Age features open world gameplay and exploration with different main characters in its each iteration.
Honestly it makes him sound like he only wants to have sex with her, the middle option shows how much he really cares about her. She's beautiful of course, but that's not the only reason why he loves her, he cares about her feelings and emotions.
this game gave me a life lesson, I was so lost in Miranda's butt that I didn't focus on saving the world, I didn't care, and then I died because my military strength wasn't high enough, so there goes my chance of keeping her
It's a shame how they sidelined Miranda in ME3. I wish I could hear a dialogue like this before final mission: Miranda: The crew's ready, Commander. We're ready for your orders. Shepard: What about you? Are you ready? Miranda: Sure I am. Let's finish the Reapers once and for all. Shepard: What if you'll answer sincerely? Like a person, not a Cerberus former officer. Miranda: Am I ready for what, Shepard?! Am I ready to die? Am I ready to lose Normandy? Or am I... ready... to lose (start crying) y... Shepard: (hugs her) Hey... It's okay. You're strong leader and I'm proud to have you in my crew. Miranda: I almost had lost Oriana, I can't lose you. Shepard: Remember, I died once already? And now I'm in front of girl who gave me my second life. Even if I'm gonna lose my life again, I want you to know - I was lost without you, Miranda. You not just gave me my second life. YOU ARE my second life. Miranda: I should've die in the battle with Kai Leng, but because of you I stayed alive. So if there's somebody I want to share my life with, it's you, Shepard. (touches his face with her hand) For now let's not think about anything that is waiting for us there on Earth, let us just enjoy this moment together. (passionate kiss) Love scene
watching this brings back alot of memories. she was the first person I romanced, I saw something through that icy facade she put on, and I was glad I chipped away at it.
James Turton hahahahaha well, that helped. but I've known women like Miranda before. just gotta work some magic on them and they show they aren't all business.
Miranda is the best romance option to me, along with tali, i love how Shep and Miranda's relationship unfolds, she acts cold and distant at first but she warms up to you even if you don't romance her, she also shows how vulnerable she is to Shep, like in 3 when she asks if she is still apart of his plan, she shows that she cares for Shep, if you choose to break up with her she will cry and walk away, its interesting romancing her as a renegade but i made sure my boi Shep always had a soft spot for her.
Tali is nice and cares for Shepherd and loves her ,but I always felt that quarians and turains were long time lovers and Seph and Tali their love story sometime felt dismatched though very cute and adorable 🥰. ME 3 she gets along with Garrus. Closely, fells much more accurate... Even today I fell why Miranda chhose the engine relly how discomforted Tali must have got as she had a crush on sepherd , but who doesn't has everyone except JACK For sepherd I felt for perfect match sensible - were Ash : both soldier , lot in common and the line when sepherd choose Ash on liara ... She says - "nobody wants to fell that they're not good enough to get what they want " 🥰 she just touches the heart 💖 Miranda - because she faught all alone for her sister and her freedom, from her father in ME2 And stood all alone for her sister in ME3 .... Apart from sepherd nobody trusted him she has no one in her life who love's her or cares for her trouble's , she always just she got used for her perfection. even she's didn't felt sepherd's can be her's because obviously she might have fell for sepherd while rebuilding him, could be seen in scene when see touch sepherd sensitivly... So she NEEDS sepherd and his love the most .to love her so she's never alone in her fight , she has someone who loves her and care's for her , and her sister... And what's more then having commander sepherd as your love 💖on whom you have a crush. Jack - she's never intrested in love until you persue her so just give her a life of respect ,and being loved and she's just awesome And LIARA...... - she's the perfect for sepherd , if she care's about anything the most in her life is sepherd , more then her life . she's truly meant be with sepherd whatever she's done for him , she deserves sheperd and she always loved sheperd all over the trilogy , though you don't romance her .... But liara and sepherd are meant to be together in mass effect universe 🥰🥰 Everyone knows it just by playing the game , but just to contradict this fact . They choose the other picks, 😁😁
Shep and Miranda's relationship. 😂😂 I don't feel a thing between them , dry .... No emotion, feelings not in ME2 , not in ME3.... She's all fake. She didn't even tell's wheater she loves you or not ..... She uses you to keep her and her sister safe . And then "Goodbye". Doubt she'll even mourn sepherd death....( As she faked it all , really I never romanced her)
Honestly I feel it has more to do with standard shep's face. It worked for me with a more mature looking shepard. Jennifer hale was great over all, where mark meer definitely failed to deliver in ME1 however he was great in the great of the series. All IMO.
Think about if they had better animators with a background of understanding human facial expressions. It's hard to watch and listen to Male Shep, he's 100% wooden... not in a good way.
I think they should have, at least for the last mission, allowed every alive character as an option to fight with. So if I wanted Miranda and Wrex, I could have it. Really would have honed in the romance over just saying goodbye to her hologram.
3:58 their interaction is longer & IMO way better when Shepard refuses to promise that he won't die, with them sharing a romantic hug before the convo ends. Shame you didn't go with that option.
It took the 3rd game for me to finally succeed with Miranda. Genetic engineering or not, her looks are just so fcking amazing, and she's so cute. I love that scene when she and Shep wake up together after the Citadel party, as well as when she shows up in the casino in that red dress. As for my other favorites, Tali is like a little sister to me, and Liara is like a big sister or a female best friend. I love them both as well, but I think no matter how many times I'll replay ME2 and 3, i'll always end up with Miri. Seems like some things never change.
I feel the exact same way about Miranda. I love how she starts off as cold but becomes warmer and more loving as the series continues. Those who say she was just a cheap fling, ignore the fact that she's the only love interest to actually CRY when you break up with her. Her relationship with Shepard is really fun to me because they're on equal ground. She's not afraid to disagree with him and is willing to solve her own problems as best as she can. It's really frustrating that in 3 she was pushed into a secondary character role. Especially with Cerberus being among the main foes. You would think you would want the former second in command of Cerberus on your team if that was case. Or at least let her join the squad temporariy during the Cerberus base stage.
Same. She has the best arc and character development out of all the female leads : from an aloof ice queen, merciless yet beautiful Cerberus researcher to a kind, caring, broken yet striving woman looking for her happy ending despite an upbringing riddled by tragedy and emotional abuse at the hands of Henry, she is one of the most intricate and well-written characters of the franchise overall.
It feels so forced... the monotone way Shepard speaks. Looks like Miranda wants him and he's just accepting, like "yeah, whatever" I accidentally started a romance with Kaidan in the first game and now he's all sentimental in ME 3, but I cant just say "look, I was new at the time and I was still getting used to dialogue. I didnt want to say those things, but the thoughts were completely different in my head... can we just forget it?"
i saved kaidan mainly because i hated ashley's attitude, speccially after she tried to shoot Wrex in the back. Nobody messes with Wrex without messing with Shepard...
It would've been interesting to have been able to take both Miranda and Ashley Williams on a mission together. It wouldve been interesting to see what kinda dialog the two would've exchanged, especially if you had been involved with Ashley in the first game, and Miranda in the second game.
If there is one moment that will forever frustrate me about Miranda's romance it will be that shot when everyone is walking towards the Normandy and Miranda walks in the OPPOSITE direction. I mean seriously? What better time to add her into the squad than after the Citadel DLC. Or at the very least make her a temporary sqaud mate for the Cerberus base run. I would have much rather Miranda on the team than James (and this coming from someone who loves James)
@@chickonwings5482 ME3 was rushed at the end. Many plot points were abandoned because of that(like the Rachni or Thane becoming a companion in the Citadel coup for instance)
@@juanlaise1059 oh damn i didn't know that. So did EA give Bioware a short amount of time to complete the game? Because if so that's just disappointing
I assumed Jacob watched, and cried, cause he wanted the Shepard loving... and that Mordin looked, went down, took over, stating “someone else might’ve gotten it wrong”
Neither Shepard or Miranda could promise each other to keep themselves out of harm's way. This kind of similarities is what makes this relationship felt equal. Like, they do care about each other, but they also respect each other enough to tell them what's what without making promises they can't keep for the sake of each other's comfort.
I don't find A single trait in here why people romance her then 1) her beauty ( genetically modified) 2) damsel in distress 3) She's all fake , she doesn't tell Love's Sepherd.... Used him ... Doubt she'll even mourn his death. 4) all most ever character exchange "I love you" from both sides or alteast one side . Except miranda and sepherd's I thought she just acted it all out until her sister's was safe.... To love you 😁😁😁😁. That's why she perfect woman.
Aris Superidis dude this is exactly where I’m stuck. I like liara, and I’d love to have her by my side in 3, but I LOVE Miranda. When I get to 3 I’m definitely getting the citadel dlc. Issue is, I’m at the part in ME2 when you can start her romance. I’m stuck! I think I’m going to do Miranda though, and I’ll do liara next time. I’m not willing to let Miranda die in 3, meaning I’m either going to ignore Miranda in 2, or ignore liara in 3.
You gotta love how these two are the only ones with private rooms on the ship but choose to do it in the engineering bay. That's some power plays hit right there XD
Meanwhile, Mordin is watching from the med-bay with scientific curiosity burning in his eyes, eating a sandwich and humming Scientist Salarian while zooming in with a pair of oil lenses.
Anyone would've. Miranda is the hottest woman of the series. And personality wise, she's kinder than Ashley. More grounded than Liara. Less childish than Tali.
@@ParasiteQueen1 the cast is quite decent. Drack has funny moments and I grew to like Vetra and Cora because she reminded me of Miranda, personality wise. The game was serviceable.
the art direction in this game is great but the one big flaw was always the way they animated the cold, dead facial expressions. they have 1 face they make for every emotion and it never changes. it's less noticeable on the non-human races but sometimes the humans just look downright creepy... good thing there's an option to keep helmets on during cut scenes
Garrus was John's best friend. Kaidan was too. But Garrus grew closer to him as a friend because Kaidan ended up having feelings for John in the third game. And Liara was his ex. Garrus honoring him on the memorial makes sense.
Do you know how hard it is for me to look at Miranda and not fucking think about Michael Jackson... Cause like that's all I fucking see..... NO SHEPARD YOUR TOUCHING MICHAEL JACKSON
lmåglnåтlvê Cяêåтоя Its probably her hair and facial structure like cheekbones and jaw shape. Despite that, Miranda is still the hottest and classiest human female in the trilogy.
Minor overlooked detail. Full Paragon Control, Miranda and Oriana are shown in the epilogue studying the reapers on a screen. Any other ending will not have that still shot of the two lawsons.
Control ending is something that TIM worked on since ME2 maybe even before. It makes sense that Miranda would be one of the few if not the only one person left who knew the possible scenarios and aftermath should TIM or anybody ever get the upper hand against the Reapers by this method. So, that shot could be Miranda, with the help of her sister, trying to find whatever left of Shepard within those Reapers. Her departure from Cerberus should motivate her enough to create a contingency plan should this scenario ever happened, perhaps even, a way to "extract" the host out. Which in this case, instead if TIM, it's Shepard. And maybe after, Shepard's consciousness would be put inside an artificial body. Although, I'm certain, if it's TIM, she would just destroy that consciousness. So, maybe, that shot was meant to show that there are efforts made to save Shepard. Whether they succeed or not is still unknown. That's how I see it anyway. By far, the only ending that gives a possibility of Shepard being alive is the perfect Destroy ending. Which is my preferred ending.
I care about you Ash. MIRANDA! DAMNIT!

N0V4S74R Agreed!
Endearing for sure, but miranda's didn't get invested quite as quickly
Everything said, I think my statements come across more critical that they should. each character has great aspects of their subplot, I just found the miranda one to be the most compelling and the most seamless
Shepard: We'll bang, okay!!!
Toufiq Aziz Smosh Of course😂

I just wish they focused less on Miranda's daddy issues and more on Miranda's personality being fun during 1 on 1 moments. That's what made Tali and Garrus great as romance options, they had their issues but were also fun to romance.
Duxitisation B
It's that her personality doesn't fit to be a funny person.

3:49 Really? You didn't show off the paragon option? That's the best part dammit.
I wish I could hear a dialogue like this before final mission:
Miranda: The crew's ready, Commander.
(passionate kiss)

I knew many women like her. These are my favorites given how cold I can be as well.
Tali is nice and cares for Shepherd and loves her ,but I always felt that quarians and turains were long time lovers and
Seph and Tali their love story sometime felt dismatched though very cute and adorable 🥰. ME 3 she gets along with Garrus. Closely, fells much more accurate... Even today I fell why Miranda chhose the engine relly how discomforted Tali must have got as she had a crush on sepherd , but who doesn't has everyone except JACK
For sepherd I felt for perfect match sensible - were
Ash : both soldier , lot in common and the line when sepherd choose Ash on liara ... She says - "nobody wants to fell that they're not good enough to get what they want " 🥰 she just touches the heart 💖
Miranda - because she faught all alone for her sister and her freedom, from her father in ME2 And stood all alone for her sister in ME3 ....
Jack - she's never intrested in love until you persue her so just give her a life of respect ,and being loved and she's just awesome
And LIARA...... - she's the perfect for sepherd , if she care's about anything the most in her life is sepherd , more then her life . she's truly meant be with sepherd whatever she's done for him , she deserves sheperd and she always loved sheperd all over the trilogy , though you don't romance her .... But liara and sepherd are meant to be together in mass effect universe 🥰🥰
Everyone knows it just by playing the game , but just to contradict this fact . They choose the other picks, 😁😁
Shep and Miranda's relationship. 😂😂
I don't feel a thing between them , dry .... No emotion, feelings not in ME2 , not in ME3.... She's all fake. She didn't even tell's wheater she loves you or not .....
She uses you to keep her and her sister safe . And then "Goodbye".
Doubt she'll even mourn sepherd death....( As she faked it all , really I never romanced her)
I liked the romance in this game tbh

1:10 Shepard's reaction; "Bitch watch'u say?"
Meer gets too much trash. His Shepard is fine..Nothing about Hale's performance struck me as great as her fanboys/fangirls try to make her sound
Exactly. Female Shep sounds just like Male Shep. No better, no worse.
P
They're both perfectly good. Meer's performance gets hate solely because he isn't voicing a Playboy centerfold with a husky voice whereas Hale is.
Honestly I feel it has more to do with standard shep's face. It worked for me with a more mature looking shepard. Jennifer hale was great over all, where mark meer definitely failed to deliver in ME1 however he was great in the great of the series. All IMO.
I agree. Meer is the better paragon. Hale nails the renegade shep.

Oh ya, sheppard is terrible. Thankfully the writing for the other characters isn't so bad.

I think they should have, at least for the last mission, allowed every alive character as an option to fight with. So if I wanted Miranda and Wrex, I could have it. Really would have honed in the romance over just saying goodbye to her hologram.
I really like the cut scenes of this game! It really makes you get into the characters. This is a great Franchise!
3:58 their interaction is longer & IMO way better when Shepard refuses to promise that he won't die, with them sharing a romantic hug before the convo ends. Shame you didn't go with that option.
I was about to comment on that. In my playthrough i refused to make promises and she gave a nice, cute, comfy, hug.
3:33
I care about you, Ash... Miranda. Dammit!
Shepherd: Hey Miranda we’ll bang ok
It feels so forced... the monotone way Shepard speaks. Looks like Miranda wants him and he's just accepting, like "yeah, whatever"
I accidentally started a romance with Kaidan in the first game and now he's all sentimental in ME 3, but I cant just say "look, I was new at the time and I was still getting used to dialogue. I didnt want to say those things, but the thoughts were completely different in my head... can we just forget it?"
lol this made my day!
Neon Valkyrie Damn... FRIENDZONED!!!
Kyle Aaron this actually never crossed my thoughts... now i feel REALLY bad about it...
LMFAO!!! Poor Kaiden.... The ULTIMATE "Friendzoning" is when you play ME1 as FemShep && You still pick Ashley over Kaiden LMFAAAAOOOOOOOOO!!!!
i saved kaidan mainly because i hated ashley's attitude, speccially after she tried to shoot Wrex in the back. Nobody messes with Wrex without messing with Shepard...
This is the best version on UA-cam, no watermarks with default Sheploo.
they had so much sexual tension even if you don´t choose her as a romance
It would've been interesting to have been able to take both Miranda and Ashley Williams on a mission together.
It wouldve been interesting to see what kinda dialog the two would've exchanged, especially if you had been involved with Ashley in the first game, and Miranda in the second game.
The Cowboy One word... Duck..

Neither Shepard or Miranda could promise each other to keep themselves out of harm's way. This kind of similarities is what makes this relationship felt equal. Like, they do care about each other, but they also respect each other enough to tell them what's what without making promises they can't keep for the sake of each other's comfort.
I don't find A single trait in here why people romance her then
1) her beauty ( genetically modified)

the art direction in this game is great but the one big flaw was always the way they animated the cold, dead facial expressions. they have 1 face they make for every emotion and it never changes. it's less noticeable on the non-human races but sometimes the humans just look downright creepy... good thing there's an option to keep helmets on during cut scenes

Tear duct: Aw shit here we go again.
