I was always a Cerberus loyalist myself. I mean they do have the right idea--if you take Jack Harper (i.e. The Illusive Man) out of the equation. He was indoctrinated from an early stage, and soured the whole project. But if he weren't involved, or if he never got indoctrinated, Cerberus really would've been a powerhouse.
I expected her to be there but to save the kids because she kinda used to be like them but no, she was their teacher whole time, surprise but welcome one
I think Jack might be the most nuanced and tender romance in the trilogy, which makes her also the most surprising, considering her outward personality with people. As you discover that shes actually still just a scarred girl who has put up barriers between herself and people as a defense mechanism…. Easily the best romance in Mass Effect.
I think it's underappreciated that as strong as Jack is, in a lot of ways she simply never grew up until she met Shepard. She takes what she wants when she wants it, and when someone crosses her she throws a biotic temper tantrum. Jack behaves this way because instead of learning how to grow past being a child, she was experimented on by Cerberus. And until she met Shepard, there was no one willing to help her deal with that baggage. Whether Shepard romances her or not, he frees her.

By the time I finished that run I was so determined to finally get things right that I immediately replayed the trilogy again. I got things right. And you know? It completely lived up to what I was hoping it'd be. Easily my favorite romance path. I failed it so many times. Put it off cuz I like to alternate between male and femsle Shepards. And that patience was rewarded. Just like with how the romance develops. And it was worth it.
Bio shep throws some biotics alongside Jack in the Armax, which is pretty neat. They acknowledge that shep is a biotic in cutscenes, rare, the other one is in omega i think.

Just realised, jack is probably based on ace from dc comics, she has superhuman biotic abilities, experimented on as kid by Cadmus which isn’t much different from Cerberus, her childhood was ruined, she talks about being used by other criminals just like joker used ace, plus jack is name of card in the deck like ace, emo like ace, soft in heart when you form connection with her, she also references being the ace in the hole.

I have such a complicated history with this romance.
My first playthrough, the moment I saw her I immediately fell in love. I talked to her all the time, tried to romance her. But I picked a FemShep. I was surprised when she turned me down.
Second playthrough, I went with Male Shep, was determined to romance her that time. I didn't think the one night stand would lock you out of the romance... I was pissed when I learned it did.
Next playthrough was another FemShep, so I knew I couldn't.
So good to see you uploading again! :) Have you ever considered to make a playthrough/walkthrough of Mass Effect 1-3?
Yeah im planning uploading a walkthrough but later.
Awesome, really looking forward to it
The most terrifying power shepard has, is his nonexistent eyelid’s
Terrifying
Bio shep throws some biotics alongside Jack in the Armax, which is pretty neat. They acknowledge that shep is a biotic in cutscenes, rare, the other one is in omega i think.
Can't wait for more Mr Jaguar 😎
Would have been cool to have Kaiden at the biotics facility, would have had an interesting input
Christ bless you, her becoming a teacher was a pleasant surprise
Hardest choice in the whole franchise:
Tali < ( ) > Jack
Tali < Jack... But that's just me
Jack better
I can just never imagine straying from the OG ME1 crew. Three games of character development and being most of the final party composition in ME3 is a tough act to beat.
Glad these vids are here for science!
Bioware of the past will be missed.
And nobody said about Sheps tattoo! He's f@cking God of War in ME series, even Jack noticed it and made this mark on Sheps back!
The tough looking girl and she's a cute cuddle bear. I love Mass Effect man ❤
45:27 Wow, Jack. That's prophetic.
I romanced Liara for all of my male shepard playthroughs because I just like her the most, but it is so fun watching other romance options. Jack is like the complete opposite of Liara, I personally wouldn't date a girl like that in real life, but what an exciting relationship!
Considering how the camera shots are all panned out with far more detail and scene attention compared to other characters, it seems like Jack was someone's specific personal project.
Man idk how you kept EVERYONE alive but great job
ME2, all Loyalties. Garrus/Male Cerberus Guy for 2nd Fireteam leader, Kasumi/Tali as vent/hack, Jack/Samara as Biotic, Mordin for crew rescue.
ok that Shepard tatoo scene is just ..... FEELS!
Oh Jack, why can't you one-shot the big robots outside of cutscenes...
Arguably, the best character arc in the game...
"i can fix her"
