If you are wondering, you can not continue to play after this ending. You just leave the credits and go directly to the main screen. YOU CAN NOT CONTINUE TO PLAY AFTER THIS!
This is a compilation (and to me very amusing) of all the ways to get your squad killed in the Suicide Mission. I had to edit out a lot of stuff to fit it into 11 minutes since I didn't want to get it into 2 parts but left some of the cool cinematic fights in.
To accomplish this feat, I did no loyalty quests or ship upgrades, which resulted in:
1. Jack dead: Lasered by the Oculus.
2. Legion: Electrocution from the power core.
3. Thane: Crushed by a Normandy beam.
4. Jacob: Volunteered for suicide and died to a rocket to the face.
5. Samara: Died escorting the crew back.
6. Grunt: Swept away by insects
7. Miranda: Dead after final boss.
8. Garrus: Dead after final boss.
9. Mordin: Couldn't hold the line.
10. Zaeed: Died with Mordin watching the back.
11. Tali: Bullet to the chest.

Or because of incompetence he misjudges the jump so badly he only goes a few feet off the edge and misses the ship by a mile as he falls to his death dramatically.

Mass Effect 3: Joker saves the galaxy with his friends: Conrad Verner, Blasto the Hanar Spectre, Niftu Cal the Biotic God and Veetor the Agorafobia Quarian. Liara T'Soni is their nanny.
You joke, but I'd honestly pay to play that. Niftu Cal overestimating himself ever encounter and occasionally doing some actual badass stuff would be beyond comical, as you wouldn't know if he was actually capable or just being an idiot.

Nah it opens a alternate play, where you play as joker; piloting your new commander from star to star and you just get to play arcades and talk to EDI when they go on the 'big boys mission'.

This video is extremely funny to me for several reasons:
1. Sheppard is a coked-up Mr. Clean. He is so ugly that the team decided to kill themselves
2. Getting this ending is extremely hard so it would be unimaginable to think that there is somebody out there who got this ending by playing for real
3. he makes the absolute worst choices and the entire team in the game agrees with him
4. Sheppard giving motivational speeches while looking like he has cancer
5. Sheppard giving motivational speeches to only 2 people that are left alive
6. Those 2 people dying immediately after the speech
7. The entire dialogue hints that most of them will survive
8. Joker ends up the only one alive
9. The developers actually made this ending with Joker being the only one alive
10. The game implies that Joker will be the one to stop the Reapers

If you import this save you get to play as joker throughout ME3.
Features include:
Difficulty is immediately set to Impossible and cant be changed until you beat the game.
Your only companions are Liara, Edi, Javik, and James.
You have 1 non upgradeable HP but your shields are super good.
You can't sprint and can only walk and hobble through levels.
Joker cant use a melee strike, however upon pressing the melee button he will deliver one of over 1,000 sick one liners, burns based on the current enemy, jokes about the current situation or status, and even comments to the current squad.
Holding the button will result in a definite insult to the enemy, decreasing their moral and giving a 50/50 chance of increasing current squad moral or causing them to tell you to shut up.
You can use pistols and a light assault rifle or a sub machine gun, however your equipment load is drastically smaller only allowing you to uses a select few combinations of weapons.
If you exceed the equipment load joker falls to the ground breaking some bones causing an immediate game over.
You also cant use the higher power/caliber weapons as this might cause joker to break something due to the kickback.
Most of jokers dialog options throughout gameplay will be sarcastic, cynical, and in a joking manner.
He will have mostly renegade options due to his growing anger of losing all of his friends in the collector attack.
DLC will give you an Elcor companion who will let you ride on its back, increasing your effective speed and defense.
This Elcor will also have one liners of his own thus complimenting jokers own style.

@@moonashaThe coffins are probably empty except for the crew who died on the ship. They're symbolic. Sometimes you can't retrieve the body but still do the funeral.

The Illusive Man falls into his chair with a heavy sigh. Perpetual cigarette in hand, he brings it to his lips and takes a drag, blinking back wisps of smoke that cloud his vision. Four billion credits. Anadius broils and froths before him, indifferent to the inevitable plight of humanity. Four billion credits shot to hell. He can feel the beginnings of a headache forming behind his eyes; he absently rubs his brow and takes another pull.
“Man, what the fuck.”
Minutes pass, The Illusive Man staring into the dying star, seeking advice that it could not give. Tapping ash into the ever filling tray at his side, he motions his hands. The floating orange holograms quickly arrange themselves into a security feed, revealing an empty room save for a single large capsule. A slight pause. He had never expected to even need the clone for replacement parts, let alone use it as a replacement for the original. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Taking another heavy drag of the slowly dying cigarette, he presses a finger to one of the glowing buttons. The capsule opens, slowly revealing the body of a well muscled man. He slumps to the floor, likely still recovering from such a sudden release. The Illusive Man takes a look at Lawson’s glorified organ farm, before his eyes slowly go wide. Slumped on the floor he saw a man who would not look out of place in early 21st century media. With his strong jaw, clean buzz cut, and slight scarring, he looked the very definition of a soldier. In that moment, The Illusive Man’s eye twitched. He dropped his now dull cigarette as the realization set in.
They had been using the wrong Shepard.

It is a victory for him, I mean after the events in ME2 the illusive man wasn't backing him anymore. Though admittedly Shepard wasn't there to stop them arriving in the arrival DLC since that canonically happens after the suicide mission, so I'm guessing they made it into the galaxy much faster.

Could you imagine unironically or unintentionally getting this ending.
Just think of the endings of AC Odyssey. At least two of those endings can be unintentional. That’s the great thing about player choice rpgs, you don’t know what’s coming haha
In order for that to happen, in my humble opinion, the following must be met:
•Impatient to shoot stuff (skipping loyalty missions by not talking to crew, thus not getting the assignments and not probing stuff to get resources for Normandy upgrades)
•Playing on a foreign language setting (like playing a pirated version in Russian, although I doubt there is a Russian translation for Mass Effect 2, although it could've been locally translated)
•Absolute lack of immersion in the situation and the characters (not caring on people dying, just picking random people, random dialogue options et cetera)

Interestingly, I sucked so much on my first playthrough, Jacob held the line himself. And he actually made it. He was loyal though

+Hierkönnteeinnamestehen Loyalty doesn't guarantee survival, in fact plenty of characters can survive without being loyal at all. Maybe even disloyal (if that's possible). That said you should make your entire squad loyal to maximise survival odds.
Mordin is an absolute bastard to keep alive, I forgot about his poor survivability on my last playthrough and I had to restart the suicide mission. It's always a good idea to send him back to the Normandy with the crew so he doesn't have to fight and you could possibly bring him with you to fight the final boss, but I'm not sure if he'd survive. He almost always dies whilst defending the door on my playthroughs even if I leave all the tanky squadmates like Grunt and Zaeed to defend the door with him.

Whilst this whole thing is throughly depressing, the ending is actually quite Heroic. Joker, despite being a crippled and by no means a Leader, refuses to give up and fully intends on taking the Reapers head-on. Just because it's what Shepard would have done.

If you think about it , there are probably only 2-3 people in the whole world who had gotten THIS ending on their first playthrough (not intentionally)
No matter how bad you are , you'll end up doing at least 1 loyalty mission or a ship upgrade by mistake at some point resulting in avoiding this ending.
Only if you're a speed runner, I bet there are two world speed run records featuring competing the game doing all the loyalty missions and one not doing the loyalty missions, but the one not doing the loyalty missions is obviously the faster one

Adrenaline and the feeling of "I've just lost everything, I'm numb and done with everything" are one hell of a stimulant. Jeff might've fractured and broken his bones on several occasions during the games, but when pushes comes to shove, the man pulls through.
If you ask me, Jeff Moreau was the hero saving everyone from the collector base. He was the one unshackling EDI. He was the one enabling EDI to open the airlocks to eject all Collectors. He was the one sending out the signal to Shepard. He was the pilot who flew through a literal hellscape of scrap and derelict ships and pushed through.
And all that, mind you, with a disease that could break his bones with a wrong move.
It's easy to be a badass when you're a trained soldier, a war hero, a biotic and enhanced with cybernetic implants.
It's substantially harder when you're just a man with regular military training, no biotics, no implants and brittle bone disease.
If you talk to joker about it in me1, he DOES say the bones in his legs never developed properly

Zanzagnarius Absolutely, playing MA3 at the moment and every time I see one of the MA2 crew I think about them dying - poor Grunt being dragged off has scarred me for life!
Zanzagnarius I remember first time I played ME2 - I had had no idea what will be in the end, and why I have to buy all those improvements for Normandy, but this is my style of playing games - I'm obsessed with completing ALL secondary quests, bying ALL improvements for EVERYTHING and collecting all possible for collecting (like those animus fragments in Assassin's Creed). So, this really helped me to save all my crew. I was so glad no one died, because this mission is really NERVOUS - I was really worried about everyone of my crew (especially Tali, of course).
The only way to get this ending is to deliberately try to get it.
I got one pretty close to it, wasn't really sure how loyalty would play into it. Long story short everyone but Miranda and Zareed or whateverthefuck his name is died.

As a joke in Mass Effect 3 if someone imported a dead Sherpherd save the game should have been a long cutscene of death and devastation and then end credits
or scenes of the reapers harvesting Earth, Sur'Kesh, Palaven, Tuchanka, Thessia, etc. then end credits. plus a "You Are Trash" plastered on the screen.

The fact that developers in 2008 put the time in to allow anyone including Shepard to die is mind blowing.
Even starfield in 2023 (15 years later) could not make their RPG as amazing as Mass Effect.

Fun fact for anyone who is going for maximum deaths:
If you complete 4+ sidequests between opening the Omega 4 Relay and going through it, then the full Normandy crew (aside Dr. Chakwas) will be dead when you get there. Send her back with no escort, and she dies. If you set up the Hold the Line part right, everyone there will die, so you don't need to make the escort die.
Even if you do the mission inmediatly, as long as you leave no escort, the crew + Chakwas die no matter what, but to have the max deaths with Kasumi included, the ONLY upgrade you can have if you want to is the plate to save Jack from the Oculus at the start, but you have to make sure Tali, Kasumi, Mordin and Jack (if you only had the ship upgrade to save her at the start) stay alive for the "Hold the line" part to secure the failure on that team, yeah... pretty much you have to screw it up on purpose to get this bad ending.
I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Who would ever follow that bald guy is beyond me. 😂
