Hi Angie, I really appreciate the "fix" to correct the over application of eye makeup. That's a great tip, and makes me think I need more "Fix tips demo" video would be really helpful.
@@AngieHotandFlashycan you do a review on that viral Japanese foundation tir tir I see all over TikTok. A lot of people seem to love it. I am 52 years old and wondering how it really is on more mature skin
Angie, I thought I'd take this opportunity to say that one of the (many) things I appreciate about your videos is that you show how makeup lasts during the day. That's invaluable. Thanks so much.
I’ve been wearing that cover girl tint since it came out and used up and repurchased. It’s so fresh and easy. I have dry skin The lightweight feel is incredible
Angie and Risa are my absolute favorite makeup queens here on YT! They’re really helping me ease into my 50s with amazing product demos and makeup looks! 🎉
I just purchased 4 of your recommended items - LOVE them all!! I was prepared to take back thinking for sure colors or product wouldn’t work on my skin. All of them are excellent. Thank you!!
Love drug store hauls! I'm a girl on a tight budget so I'm drugstore all the way. The L'Oréal products are outstanding & I use Milani, Nyx, elf and Phycians Formula. This was super helpful. Thanks Angie!
Angie and Risa are also my faves, along with Jen. They are so good at this, and not just because I'm getting older. All three of them offer classic timeless advice that's useful for any age group! Thanks for another great video Angie!
Angie: Always helpful, informative AND entertaining! Thank you for this. Future Video Q: I would love to know your thoughts on false eyelashes...whether they be the extensions you get at a salon or falsies you apply yourself. I notice how you never mess with falsies (which I don't either - primarily because they intimidate me). Just wanted to know your thoughts on the subject. Have a great weekend! 🥰
What a beautiful makeup look. I have the same issue with my nose, but it’s because I have allergies & am constantly blowing my nose (it’s so annoying!:). Have you tried the new TirTir cushion foundation that Tati just did a video about? I bought some & tried it for the first time yesterday & absolutely love it! I would love to see your review of it. Thank you so much! 😊
I have been using the cover girl foundation for months. I have dry skin and have no problem with shine when I wear it. I have gone to only using this product. I love it.
Thank you so much for this video! I am 58 years old, and I have struggled to find a foundation that works with my skin. This foundation is it! Finally! I also love the eyeliners and the mascara. Thanks Angie! ❤
I LOVE this serum foundation. I did have the same sweaty looking issue. Now, I use 1 1/2 pump for my whole face, and use my fingers to blend in quick, wispy strokes. Also, I broke open the beads on my face. I buff in powder with a big fluffy brush. Game changer
Beautiful look Angie. I have the Cover Girl Essence Foundation and absolutely love it. I put it on with my fingers and have found it is the best way to not get streaks. I’ve used a sponge to push it in to the skin too. Love all the products you used today except the powder and lip products.
The nose! I actually use Bare Minerals multi tasking concealer in Summer Bisque for my nose and upper lip only! It’s the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t break up during the day and the coverage is perfect.
I really like the Cover Girl essence---it has more coverage than the Chanel version and is so much less expensive. The Loreal true match serum concealer is also a fave--i use it every day as an eye primer and it works so well that i can just put on an eyeliner and look polished.
@@AngieHotandFlashy just set with powder and you should be good to go. I wear that same shade, N3, and it's perfect for me. I have dry mature skin and very red , oily eyelids. Regular eye primers don't work for me since they don't cover the redness. This really does and looks so natural. Highly recommend.
The Chanel Water Fresh Tint is my most repurchased Chanel product. I tried this complexion product and it is not a dupe for the Chanel. This IMO is more appropriate for those who have normal to oily skin. I am very dry and this felt like a silicone heavy base.

Angie I apply the Essence foundation with my fingers an actually rub it in the same way I would skincare such as sunscreen etc. This method has worked great for me and applies it well over the entire face including the nose area. It looks so pretty and will definitely be my go to summer foundation 😊
Angie, I e been following you for several years now! I don’t usually comment, but decided to today! We are the same age with same texture skin and skin color. Almost all your choices work for me. I’ve also followed all the skin care except the devices and my skin is so much better after my younger years of tanning!! Thank you SO much for allllll your hard research work on EVERYTHING!! 🤩
Beautiful look. I found the Loreal true match concealer too dry for my 64 year undereyes but it works great as an eye primer. I love the Neutrogena radiant cream concealer. So hydrating and does not cake or crease. I do not use Physicians formula products because of the scent. Does the bronzer or the lip gloss have scent? Thank you.
I use the CoverGirl ageless skin perfector essence over the Haru Haru sunscreen daily and love it to even put my skin. I just use my fingers to apply it and don't have any problems with how the product lays.
Great video as always Angie! Thanks! A curious request for a video, but if you have any tips on getting a good eyebrow shape for mature women who use tretinoin and can no longer get waxed, I’m very curious what women are doing? I’m trying to tweeze my own eyebrows but I don’t feel I’m getting a great shape. Just wondering what you do and if you have any tips! Your brows are perfect! Thanks!!

Have you tried hydromaniac foundation from urban decay? It’s the best. Feels like 2nd skin but good coverage. It comes in a convenient tube so a clean no mess application every time. It has marula oil and it feels so good never drying.
Loved the demo and the look. A bit too shiny a look for my wrinkles. I bet the NYX mineral powder would have made a diff. Love the NYX powder since you suggested it, better than the Laura Mercier I was paying bigger bucks for.
Angie, I have barely any eyebrows due to Chemotherapy. I was wondering if you could tell me the best product to draw on eyebrows? Thanks s so much. Love your channel. Katie
Dominique cosmetics has a great eyebrow pencil that is actually shaped like a blade but is an actual pencil instead of ink. Hugs to you. Hoping you're feeling better ❤

But now everyone seems to be releasing them like IT Cosemetics, Peter Thomas Roth etc and would honestly enjoy a comparison and tested video version done by you (cuz your the best tbf). Great video! I have the cover girl foundation and use it occasionally; but it makes sense how you used it and added the concealer for the nose area. I will be tryin this tip. Also a big fan of your A506 brush. ❤
I just picked up both the Sephora Best Skin Ever Concealer and Foundation and am thrilled with both. Definitely drug store priced, and they really work! Watched your video this morning about hair loss. I know I dont have as much as I once did, but right now, it's not bad. I did get Dr Havers book The New Menopause and I got my endocrinologist to give me back my HRT patch. I'm nervous to start so I'm going to read her chapter on dosage of HRT before I start using them. Im about to turn 65 and had a hysterectomy around 51. I'm excited about it, but Im also curious about Testosterone. Midi is expensive. At least for me. Thank you for really helping us all through many aspects of aging! ~lori ❤ oh, I recently started using the Essence Waterproof mascara in the blue tube. I really like it and it comes off easily with my LaRoche Posay cleanser!
The Elf HD powder in translucent/sheer is much better. Anything that says luminous or radiance always has sparkles in it (in my experience, anyway). I really want to try that CG Essence foundation one of these days. Thanks for the reviews Angie. Have a great weekend! 😊
I also stopped using the Elf translucent powder. I really like the Wet N Wild loose translucent powder. Interested in the bronzer you used, I'm already a fan of the PF butter bronzer .😊
Thanks for this video. I feel exactly the same about the Essence mascara. I didn't enjoy the Cover Girl Essence foundation, however. Maybe because I have Jane Iredale's version, which I LOVE. Must try the About Face liners.
I love those beaded foundations. I have the Chanel (better shade match for me, honestly) but I also bought 1 of the Cover Girl and it was a little too light (it runs lighter than it looks) so I bought the next darker one, which is a great spring and autumn shade for me. Then I bought 1 darker still and now I have a blending trio that will work for all seasons for my skin. Middle with darker for summer. Middle with lighter for winter. Middle alone for spring and autumn. I have dry skin and find that the Charlotte Tilbury powder or MAC powder mattes it down enough to last all day. Nice video, Angie. I love the low lights in the hair, btw.
Good Morning Angie! 😊❤ Looking beautiful in the Spring makeup..👌I really am curious about those eye shadow sticks. I need a super quick and easy eye look for summer! ☀️ Happy Friday and hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🥰
Fun video! Like many, I stopped wearing makeup during the 2020 quarantine and never really got back to what I had done before. Now I have more sun damage 👎🏼 but my daughter recently got engaged sooooo I am pulling out ALL my makeup, tossing the old and bringing in the new! I am hoping to master the mauve Smokey eye for the wedding. I had my makeup done recently and was VERY disappointed in the results, so I think I’m gonna do it myself. ❤️
I believe the CoverGirl foundation to be a dupe for Chanel Les Beiges! Great find! Perfect time, I just tried the Chanel in an Ulta (only a few carry Chanel cosmetics) and loved it but it's so expensive! Thank you Angie❤️
Love that you include a wear test in your video and on camera fix of issue - I have made that mistake with potted cream shadow applied with finger and got too close to inner corner. Wondering if you’d do a mascara run down video for best humid sweaty summer ones that don’t melt, transfer to upper lid once sweating, flake, smudge or end up racoon looking. And if any hold up to beach day to even in a pool where splashed. Do the tubing formulas work as waterproof if not rubbed? Few I’m wondering if hold up are: - maybelline sky high - caliray - new ELF extender - Tarte original or new xl tubing - Gwen Gxve - hourglass tubing - YSL lash clash - tower 28 - new essence one you tried here Only waterproof one I’ve tried is Covergirl exhibitionist and it was waterproof, just seeing if any of the others hold up without being so rough on the lashes for removal later
Angie, First of all you are my go to for my makeup education and choices. I’m coming up on 59 y/o (might as well practice saying 60). A couple of questions…. Do you use any face primer to cover large pores or any redness? I have a bit of rosacea and want to wear as little makeup as possible and still have coverage. Also, glad you mentioned the shininess. Because I sweat a lot at work I end up very shiny and sweaty looking. Any suggestions on something that will cover my redness, still be lightweight and what powder to use when I sweat during the day. One more thing. My mascara seems to always smear on my hooded lids or under my eyes because I sweat and smile a lot. I know it’s alot of questions but I trust you for some possible solutions. Thanks for being you!❤
That’s interesting, I had the opposite - when I stopped coloring my hair brown, my natural salt & pepper was darker than the brown, so I switched from brown black mascara to black. I still like both and will alternate depending on what I’m wearing.
@FlaNative3 I'm very light blond with hazel green eyes. Once I began using brown, it made a difference for the better. I think coloring is what matters and I'm very fair.
@@candicerobertson6713 I think you're (both) right, coloring matters a lot. I also think the brightness of seasonal lighting matters - I use black mascara more in winter and brown in summer.
Thanks Angie! I've been looking for an easy look and a new foundation that's light. I'll have to try the CG. I used to use CG Trublend Matt, but my skin has gotten dryer and it doesn't look that good anymore. I'll also be trying the shadow sticks. Ulta store brand has some nice products. I used to use one of their foundations, but they discontinued it.
Chanel initial launch had light coverage. The second iteration has a bit more coverage. I pop the pearls between my hands and rub it into my skin. The coverage is quite nice. Haven’t tried the Covergirl but I know several who really enjoy it. Great job as always!
The Water Fresh Tint was the initial complexion product. That is one of my most repurchased Chanel products. The second product you mentioned is different. It is the Complexion Touch which is meant to serve as a concealer. I don't use it in that capacity.
@@SB_41 true but several I know and others have begun using it that way. Recently, I was told that folk are starting to mix the two. I’ve not tried it either way. I enjoy the water fresh blush as well. Thanks for your reply,
Got me! I grabbed Cool It and Mini Me from Colourpop and the Ambrosia shadowstick b/c I’m *still looking for the perfect taupe and honestly it looked beautiful on Angie.
Great video, Angie! I am trying a couple of the items you used. I haven't bought any makeup in quite a while, so this was fun for me to watch! Blessings
I enjoyed this video and was glad you see you found so many products you like. I am definitely going to try the mascara. I know this wasn't a skin care video, but I do have a skin care question. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on Volufiline. I have just started using it so I don't have any results yet, but the testimonials I have seen are pretty incredible.
Hi Angie! I have that same sweater in Rose red, It is my favorite sweater, it's so. comfortable and I get so many compliments,I want all of the colors!

Few I’m wondering if hold up are:
- maybelline sky high
- caliray
- new ELF extender
- Tarte original or new xl tubing
- Gwen Gxve
- hourglass tubing
- YSL lash clash
- tower 28
- new essence one you tried here
Only waterproof one I’ve tried is Covergirl exhibitionist and it was waterproof, just seeing if any of the others hold up without being so rough on the lashes for removal later
Great review Angie! I may have to try some of these products! 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for being you!❤
Beautiful look Angie. Since several months ago, I've been using brown mascara as I find it a much softer look than black now that I'm 66.
You look very pretty. This is a good look for you!
Thanks for your reply,
Hello. Miss Angie have you done a foundation test on TIRTIR cushion foundation? I sure am curious to know how it wears on mature skin.
Wow--it gives a 'Charlotte Tibury Pillowtalk' vibe.
Looks great- thank you!
Thank you for the drugstore video. Definately my price point!
I enjoyed this drugstore try on. You look very pretty!
I finally got your concealer brush and I love it! Please do a review on the Lisa Eldridge Tint. Thanks and have a great weekend!
Great video!🔥Looks like there are some products I will try, especially the matte eyeshadow! 💖
Love the Ulta cream shadow in ‘game over” ….but a little goes a long way. 1 tiny dot is enough to blend into my crease… maybe one more for the lid.
Hi Angie! I have that same sweater in Rose red, It is my favorite sweater, it's so. comfortable and I get so many compliments,I want all of the colors!
Yay!! Finally a makeup video!! I think it looks beautiful!! Want to try the eye shadow!
I love ❤️ the first one!!! For my skin, it just works!! I really enjoy your reviews ❤
Nice. I’ve been wanting to pick up that foundation.
